Hello its great to see some reply's about this problem. As above I used vortex and not 1 mod is showing up in the game. I don't have any issues with vortex running my mods in fallout las Vegas or fallout 4 though. Any suggestions?

Yes I know you responded but the problems have been going on since 7 dec in the forum from other people and there has been no updates for it, hence why I just asked is the the mods for it are going to be supported anymore, I do understand the modders have life away from this, but just a 'yes we are working on it' would be very helpful.

Hello Reason why I asked as there are a number of comments on the nexus kingdom come website about mods not working now in the game and there has been no replys or advice from Nexus or the modders?

Hello and thanks again for your reply and trying to help. I can understand that as it happened with a fallout update and I had to wait before some of the mods where updated for it. Is it usual for a game update to make ALL the mods for it not work?

but the mods are still not loading, even when there showing in the folder?

Thanks again - this is what I have got on my pc now mod staging folder(kingdomcomedeliverance) D;\vortexmods\ My d drive now has d:votexmods. on clicking on it all the downloaded mods are sitting in it. once again on clicking to start game and playing, no mods are showing in the game? I noticed in the vortex mod staging screen in the deployment method I had symlink deployment and you had hardlink deployment so I changed to hardlink, run the game and still no mods enabled. I have been to the nexus forum on here for the game and there a few people having the same issue even by people who ran the mods before - a game update happened and people are saying they cant get mods to work as well, but I don't know if its just a few people or everyone?

Hi im having the same problem. Mods are loaded but don't take effect in the game. Has anyone had any joy in sorting this out?

do I need to load a script extender like in fallout? On the game tag in vortex it show kingdoncome and has 10 mods it says which is correct, so why are the mods not getting loaded when I play the game. I use the start game icon on vortex as well?.

I have played the game and once again none of the mods are working? I made a folder D: vortex kingdoncome deliverance and moved the mods to it and change the path to it. I enabled the mods, then deployed with no issues. Load a new game and no mods working. What am I doing wrong? I didn't have any issues when I used vortex with fallout 4 and I didn't have to mess around with drive changes. Why isn't the mods loading in this game?

hello and thanks for all your help and advice. I have deleted all the vortex files in the path you said and reinstalled vortex. all is good there. Now to ensure I don't muck it up again, can you help with the path install for mods. the mods staging path download on vortex says C;\users\alan\appdate\roaming\vortex\kingdoncomedeliverance\mods and I have downloaded a few mods and can confirm that is where the mods are. Do I need to change this path? the game is on my d: under the usual path. I don't have anything on my d drive now that looks like D;\vortex downloads\kingdoncome deliverance( I did before I deleted) Do I need to manualy add this and then change the mods staging path to it?

hi again - I have reinstalled vortex and I have on D:vortex mods. I have not downloaded any mods yet. On clicking the activate kingdom game on the top right a red warning come up: failed to set the game folder, when clicking it, it says cant find the path D: vortexmods\new folder\easyto see herbs but it doesn't exist? I then downloaded the easy to see herbs mods and its there under d:vortexmods\new\ easy to see herbs. But once again clicking to activate the game I get the failed to set the game folder and again it says it cant find D:vortexmods\newfolder\easy toseeherbs? ? so what wrong please? my game is under d:program files x86\\steam\steamapps\common\kingdomcomedeliverance.

Hi and thanks again for your reply. My operating system is on my c: drive and my games are on d: drive. I think I deleted the whole mods folder in windows. I found the folder and just deleted the whole thing. I then used add remove program to remove vortex. I reloaded vortex, then went to add kingdom game and when trying to activate the game, I keep getting the failed to set game folder.

Hi again, yes the file path its asking for is now deleted. I don't have any mods at all in the folder. Vortex is trying to access a path that no longer exists. When the red message come up, I can click it which shows me the path or to dismiss. I cant edit the path in this pop up message and its a different path to where I had the mods folder?

Thanks for the reply Hadto register, but vortex is trying to find a path link thats not there anymore, i deleted all the mods and keep getting the failed to set game folder message ?

Hello I have problems with kingdom come(well not if I load from steam) no mods are working, so I deleted all the mods and tried again but on pressing the button for vortex to activate the game a red warning come up on right corner 'failed to set game folder and on clicking it, it is trying to find a pathj/file that's not longer there and deleted and I cant get by this. I removed vortex through add/remove programmes on windows, and went to reinstall what I though would be a new fresh version, but it loads up as the version I deleted, its as though it remembers me and loads what I have? (are there some hidden folders that I missed in removing vortex) I deleted and get the same 'failed to set game folder 'message as before when I try and activate the game. Please help as its driving me nuts. do you think I have to delete the game as well and do a fresh install on it and then vortex?

Hello I have a missing file for a mod for kingdom come and keep getting a failed to set game mode message. I have tried to delete vortex and reinstall but when trying to activate the game I keep getting the same message, so im guessing vortex is not being completed deleted and is going back to its original load. I have delete all mods and used add remove programes to remove vortex. Do you think I also now need to uninstall the game,, remove vortex(if I can 100%) reinstall the game and vortex?

hello and thanks again No I hadn't deployed - I thought enabled was all that u had to do. I have now pressed the deploy tag, and restarted a new game but once again none of the mods are live in the game? - should I uninstall the mods and start again?

Hello I have used vortex with fallout 4 and had no problems. I just brought the Kingdom Come game from steam and downloaded, played it for a bit and now have installed around 10 must have mods for the game, no schnapps saving etc but although vortex says there all enabled. they don't appear to be live in the game? I have 2 drives operating system on c and games on d. I haven't bothered checking the paths before as the mods in vortex for fallout 4 are working fine, so I presumed vortex would allocated the right path to the game? I just noticed on the vortex dashboard on fallout 4 there is no mods are staged on c drive panel but there is when I click Kingdom Come. c:\users\alan\appdata\roaming\vortex\kindomcomdeliverance\mods. if I change the c drive to d where the game is, d: program files x64\steam\etc I get a message you cannot put mods in the game directory. Any ideas?
