Its always made me mad that the riot shotgun doesn't have a stock on it. a stock as simple as the one off the combat shotgun from f3, or if you want to run with it, a pistol grip synthetic stock would be awesome! It would make so much more sense for a high rate of fire shotgun like that firing buckshot and slugs to have a stock. ever tried to shoot one without a stock? lets just say it would require some serious arm strength, plus there's no way to properly aim.

  3. EDIT: Fixed it, just remembered player.inv lol.
  4. the barrett was the last mod to load, so I guess it has something to do with the mod i got the .338s from. oh well, I can live with it being .308.
  5. Downloaded the barrett 98b mod, and its amazing. except the ammo list it uses is .308. the real life thing uses .338. I go into the geck, go to the barrett, and change the ammo list to .338 from another mod I have. now, it crashes the game every time i try to select it in the pip boy. I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod and I'm running with it again, but can anyone tel me what I did wrong?
  6. well i figured it out on my own, I didn't know until some piddling there was vertex edit mode (or something like that) which lets you move little points at a time. sorry for the newb question.

So i have been slowly learning to mod, i've got blender and gimp, and have tried a retex or two but nothing i'm super proud of yet. anyway, i was wondering how to move an object on an item. like the goggles on a helmet. I want to move them from the helmet to over the eyes, or vice versa. can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not looking for a script to do it in game, but make it to where the goggles are always over my eyes or always on the helmet. I can take care of the rest lol.
