  1. I only want to power level up block and armor skills until they don't slow me down, then I can try the circling, avoiding and hitting while blocking technique with a one handed weapon and a shield, and that is almost necessary on higher or the highest difficulty settings. Before I get that, I can only circle, avoiding and hitting without blocking, so then I end up leveling up far more on one handed and almost nothing of the block skills, and I want to try to keep the one handed and block skills balanced. But the way the game is meant to be played is debatable, some of us wants to focus more on the story, quests and challenges rather than getting perks "the normal way". With all the perks and skills, you get the feeling that you are more accomplished, strong and skillful while playing through the story, quests and challenges, but you are still not overpowered, that doesn't happen until you use the enchanting/smithing/alchemy exploits or certain console commands imo.
  2. Hi. :) Does anyone know what the fastest way to level up block/amor skills is? I know there's tons of youtube videos about this stuff, but I'm intrested to hear your opinions on this. :)
  3. My mod load order is "Increased Merchant Gold Count", "Continious Wood Chopping", "The GOD Auriel! [Weapon/Armour Improvement Mod]", "Better Females by Bella - CORE FILES", "Better Females by Bella - Less Makeup" and "Marriable Serana". :)
  4. See if you can find Belethor and the owners of warmaiden with console commands, "player.moveto" (ref id). :) If you still can't find them, they're probably dead.
  5. Thanks for the response. I came up with another great sword + shield strategy (I'm sure most of you must already know about it), circling to avoid close enemy combat attacks, step in and swing, and step back in a circle to avoid their close combat attacks, when your opponents does close combat attacks of course. This works imo better than doing it with a mace (some forum members mentioned it earlier in another topic) because it's so slow. However, a mace does more damage, so it's a better strategy if you can do that instead, but it's easier with a sword. I have yet to try how that mace + shield strategy works when your heavy armor and shield doesn't slow you down.
  6. Would some Orcs become a werewolf, or is that extremely rare?
  7. Hi. I have a glitchy character that sometimes swing weapons and change camera to third person view automatically, and one time, I ate a heart and my werewolf perk progress increased, when I wasn't even in the beast form. Wtf is going on?
  8. Edit: I forgot one thing, you need to stand in front of her, bring up the console commands, and click on her so that her ref id shows, and then type in "setrelationshiprank player 4" and "addtofaction 19809 1". This works for Serana if I'm not mistaken.
  9. Hi. Could someone make a mod that removes friendly fire, including all kinds off one-handed/two-handed/archery/magic/shouts/etc.? This would be especially helpful during the war.
  10. Have you tried the console commands? Equip the AOM, stand in front of her, bring up the console commands and type in "setrelationshiprank player 4" and "addtofaction 19809 1". :)
  11. Hi. :) I love to brawl againt others, so it'd be awesome if someone could upgrade Jorrvaskr to being able to brawl against the other companions in a friendly competition, as well as betting 100, 500, 1000 or 2000 gold, where if you win, you get the selected amount of gold, and if you lose, you lose the selected amount of gold. And perhaps also being able to bet on a fight with the same amount of gold, like the arena in Oblivion. :) Or create a new separate brawling club featuring the same things, maybe have it in some of the inns as well. :)
  12. I agree 100% to this, why in the holy mother of f*ck didn't Bethesda do this instead? Why being forced to only level up non combat skills in a tedious way?
  13. Hi. Would an Orc join the Imperials or the Stormcloaks? It's a bit confusing since they have to stay in the strongholds probably because of the Imperial laws, but the Stormcloaks are racist.
  14. Hi. :) Could anyone make a mod that enables you to wear two rings with animation, so that you can see that you have two rings equipped, one on each hand?
  15. Hi. :) Could someone make a mod that no longer affect the vampire lord form to have Serana as a follower? The Vampire Lord form, when having Serana as a follower, makes drain life useless.
  16. Hi. :) Could someone make a mod that removes the pathetically inexperienced thieves? I feel downright ashamed to be in the same guild as them when playing as a thief. They never manage to kill anyone (as far as I've seen), they try to fight instead of fleeing or giving up and going to jail when they're overwhelmed with enemies (sometimes, they do flee, but not before their health is almost gone, they should be able to predict the outcome immediately and react accordingly when they're surrounded by enemies everywhere), and they obviously get killed really quickly. They're an embarrassment to the thieves guild!
  17. Hi. Could someone make a mod that makes Wolves and Ice Wolves follow you when you encounter them as a werewolf, up to 4 at a time, serving their new master faithfully until their death?
  18. Hi. Could someone make a mod that makes npcs respawn in their houses later if they are killed (of course with restocked inventory as well)?
  19. But if you just run through everything, how come you know such detailed combat tips, especially that one that was super effective? Why bother to look those tips up, if that was the case, if you're only a traveler?
  20. Hi. I was thinking, maybe we could put all combat tips/hints/strategies in one topic, so we can greatly learn from each other and become better players in Skyrim. After all, like Gaiden Shinji said, to be the best, learn from the best. All kinds of tips/hints/strategies are welcome here! Feel free to discuss the best methods and ask questions/give answers as well. :) Sword + shield, dagger + shield, mace + shield, war axe + shield, dual wielding, two handed, bow, sneak, magic, best way to avoid damage from all kinds of opponents and numbers with sword + shield, dagger + shield, mace + shield, war axe + shield, dual wielding, two handed, bow, sneak, magic, best way to quickly deal damage to all kinds of opponents and numbers with sword + shield, dagger + shield, mace + shield, war axe + shield, dual wielding, two handed, bow, sneak, magic and so on. To avoid a huge mess, it'd be best if you could separate different kinds of hints/tips/strategies on different "floors", like sword + shield tips/hints/strategies on one "floor" of the post and other tips/hints/strategies one "floor" or two "floors" under.
  21. Hi. Could someone make a mod that makes all the merchants in the game essential characters? If all the merchants from one store dies, the shops will never be reopened until you start a new game. Plus if the orc blacksmith in markarth dies and the assistant takes over, the shop is ruined and you can't buy anything there anymore. I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is genuine, considering his "uselessness". It sucks that it has to be this way, especially regarding all the deaths due to dragon (and if you have dawnguard installed, all the vampire) attacks. I know you can resurrect them with cc, but if you discover that they're dead too late and their bodies disappear, it's game over for that shop.
  22. Im sorry if this is a n00b question, but how do you do circling? Is that when you circle around left/back/right or right/back/left to avoid getting hit in combat? No it's where you block and go in circles around the enemy, like circle his body, like act like your creating a circle around that person. That seems much less effective, are you sure about that? Woops I misread what the guy said, yes indeed you were right it's just going left/ back/ right or vice versa. However, the method I said earler is super effective. Enemies tend to miss A LOT since AI doesn't know how to change direction while attacking especially power attacking, if you can move in circles and catch them during a power attack then you have a nice little spot to attack. It actually decreases likeliness of getting hit. (But this is for 1 v 1 combat) when it comes to group combats it gets harder to land a hit. Alright, thank you for the tips, I'll try them out. :)
