  1. Use the nexus mod manager, I got over 50 mods through that thing and it's so well sorted and easy to use, much safer than adding the files yourself, as the manager makes a virtual install of the game so the mod files are always separate from your actual game files, making it much easier to enable/disable and install/uninstall at any time. Doing so will off course affect your game, but not to the point of breaking it, like manual installs have a better chance of doing. The load order would matter a lot if you're gone have many mods, but sorting that one is pretty self-explanatory, don't have plugins for a mod load after the mod that needs them etc, if you use the manger, it would give you warnings if this is the case
  2. Seeing as I constantly just murder the settlers whenever they want my help, and get access to the workbench that way, it would have been logical to be on the raiders/gunners side, right?
  3. Why are they always the bad guys you just slaughter? I feel they could have gotten a pretty sweet backstory if given the opportunity, or at least some interaction would be nice, maybe trying to form partnerships or give peace offerings. Thoughts?
  4. 4 hours in now and made some progress through the minutemen quests, 2 settlements unlocked already and sanctuary at 10 settlers, think I'm doing pretty good.
  5. Works fine on games with multiple endings, and I never explore the map at all when I run a god mode play through, so the only buildings I know about are the once I needed for main quests, so all I have really done is completed one ending to get a feel for the game, now I am properly going through every little corner of it.
  6. I always go hardest, if I truly start to struggle and can't get pass an obstacle, i'll probably lower the difficulty, so far hasn't been an issue though in other games (including previous fallout titles)
  7. I always do my first run of any multi ending game with godmode, just to explore the game for the most part and finish one of the endings. (also because I was more interested in building settlements, but now I want to actually play the game properly) Now for my second run, I am going legendary difficulty, anybody got useful tips?
  8. So I completed the game yesterday, but have yet to pursue the minutemen stuff very heavily (unlocking all the settlements and such) Started going through a load of them today, and ended up getting "Croup Manor", now the place looks like s#*!, but it's possible to take it apart piece by piece with a mod like "spring cleaning" Now there is the problem, you can take it apart, but no way to actually build it back with the same fixed parts, seen other people do this, but I cannot find them. Anybody got a solution?
  9. That is one way, but I would need to go through 1 by 1 seeing what isn't in my completed list, kinda what I want to avoid.
  10. So there are hundreds of quests in this game, is there any way to easily find the new once you have either missed or simply not reached yet?
  11. Actually found the issue, was one of my mods missing a plugin to function properly, but thanks for your help anyways :)
  12. So I just finished the starting part of the game, closed to enhance my experience with some mods. Followed a instruction on here about the .ini file editing and did it, went ahead and started modding, downloaded the following mods with the manager http://i.imgur.com/Inxjhto.png Everything so far was simple, and I was excited to start up the game, launcher works fine, clicked play and the intro started for exactly 3 seconds, a quick black screen and the program automatically closed itself, no error message or otherwise indication that it crashed. Tried both launching it through steam and the manager client, gives me the same 3 second vault intro then a black screen before it closes itself. And now I am stuck, anyone experienced the same thing / got a solution?
