Hello, I've been facing this problem which is kinda frustrating. The last mission where 2 obelisk of order in the lawn of sheogorath's palace.. I killed all the Knights and shut down the obelisks. But then, when sheogorath is to appear from the sky, a beam of light hits the ground and the game crashes. it's pretty frustrating when you're trying to finish what's started and the save files don't take you back when things were pretty 'normal' Specs, Win 7 x64 Installation Dir. D\Games\Oblivion Unofficial Shivering Isles patch installed, deactivated any UI mods (Darnified UI and ultimate 3rd person View) Mod list.. List was generated after updating with BOSS and I did tried using this load order before posting here.. I have OBSE, OBMM installed Any help is much appreciated..

Hello, I hope this topic will not be much hassle for you guys to solve. I was playing oblivion last night and everything was fine. This morning I started playing and had to un-seath my weapon for some reason.. But right when I pulled my weapon out, the game crashed... Is this for a corrupt save file? Cause last night my oblivion didn't really 'Cosed' it kinda crashed when too many of the enemies appeared on the screen.. And this happened today also, when more or less 7 IC guards appeared and my game crashed when I killed one of them.. I'd be glad if someone could sort my problem. -Nikky

Um, Hello.. I hope someone out here could help me out a bit? I've been looking for some/a gun mod for Oblivion but couldn't find a decent one.. Please, I've already checked the 'Pistols!!' mod and it's not what I'm looking for.. Not even modern warfare has a 3 barrel gun.. The mods used were, R18PN lingerie (TOP) Liru's outfit (gloves) The belt, shoes and the pants are from Tona's mod store (AL shoes, Hot pants, SW belt) Now I'd be glad if anyone answered my question. I've been hunting this sword for quiet some time now. So i'd be glad if someone could redirect me to this mod sword..

Hi, As I've encountered this problem, I'm here to find or look for any solutions. I have used Oblivion Face Exchange Lite for exchanging face data's without doing the face design over and over in game. But now, it wouldn't let me save anything. I mean I copy a face from a save file, but then when I try to paste it on another save file, it wont do. When I hit the 'save' button face exchange freezes and crashes. I'm on Win 7 and .Net framework is 4 for me. Tried running on compatibility mode, nothing better happened. Tried installing using compatibility mode for Win 2000 but that didn't helped either. Any kind of help is well appreciated. -Nikky

I have gone through the whole article and just now I installed oblivion.. Thank you so much for your help. Now, all I need to do is remember what mods I had installed, cause unfortunately I deleted all of them. Thankfully, -Nikky

Yes, before my last uninstall oblivion was installed in the program files/bethesda directory. But I think I messed up something. To get a full uninstall I also deleted the default directory. (after uninstalling oblivion using oblivions uninstaller) And also deleted oblivion /directory from my documents/my games/... Thank you moderator for your kind reply, I will go through it thoroughly to see if I can get oblivion(vanilla) to work again normally. I will post here again with the results after some times. Hello, Previously I posted on the troubleshooting forum cause i was having some problems. I googled them and found out that it was some white split screen. So I decided to to completely un-install and then re-install the whole game including the mods (which I collected for last 3 months) But here comes the problem. I've installed the whole game including SI and KOTN expansions. Now whenever I try to start the game Oblivion simply wont load. I mean I can't even see the 'Bethesda' logo I de-activated all the plugins i.e all the DLC expansion .esp's and then tried loading only tha Oblivion.esm, but alas, even that won't load. Is there anyone who can help me put? I have played this game on the same rig for last 3 months in same configuration. if it's of any help, my specs are, Win 7 ultimate x64 2GB DDR3 RAM Intel Core2Duo 2.8 GHz processor nVidia GeForce 9500 GT (1GB, DirectX10, Pixel shader 3.0) Please, help me. I prefer Oblivion more than any other latest techy game is out there. This is something I can't live without. I hope you understand my situation. Respect, -Nikky

That's the 1st thing that came to my mind too. But I already told you, I've been playing on this rig for so long now and without any serious issues... I hope you've also noticed the exceptional darkness of the sky with the console mode open. That's a new cause I never saw the sky that dark Please you gotta help me, cause I'm not really an expert in computers and I can't stop playing this game :(

Hello everyone, I'm posting here with a heart full of hope that someone or anyone will help me. Please don't prove me wrong. I've been playing oblivion for quiet a long now (including mods) and the mods never conflicted. I try to keep my mods as much sorted as possible to avoid any kind of crashes. But today when I started playing this problem occurred. I'm adding a screen to make it easy to understand my statement. I start the game and I see random white screen flickers. I thought it maybe some missing meshes problem so I deactivated all the mods and tried again, but no luck. I un-installed and re-installed the game and started without mods, but the problem still continues to persist. I googled the problem that didn't helped. My specs, Win 7 ultimate x64 2GB DDR3 RAM Intel Core2Duo 2.8 GHz processor nVidia GeForce 9500 GT 1GB GDDR2 with DirectX10 and pixel shader 3.0 support. It's been like almost 3 months now I've been playing with this rig. I wish anyone could end my misery.
