You can't define it, you can make accurate assumptions. The same people who say aliens are violent are making the same assumptions after all, not very fair to use that as a argument for that side either. My statement was general. In my original post on the topic I thought it was dumb to think there was no possibility of alien life with the unvierse being as big as it is. I was commenting on how everyone made stipulations of such claims and first contact etc. I thought that was rather trivial, it's a yes or no question answer basis. We may not know the question nor answer in our lifetimes if we have been contacted, but to deny the possibility of more than mankind would be stupid to be blunt. The stipulations people are adding are funny though. =)

Seems like you are attempting to define exactly what an alien race would do. I personally don't think we could fathom first contact, (or second for the conspiracy theorists). Seems like you are trying to define something you can't define.

For the US to continue to support them would be a waste. It has always been a waste, we owe so many people money yet, we dictate within nato for these muslim nations how to act, let them rebel, add them all to a no fly list, no support and watch them. That's it. Let Russia deal with them, though I am sure they are supporting half of the efforts.

The decision was made and I was limited to bothering the dark one(and I have not), I figured I'd make it a discussion to give a break to aliens and foreign policy what if scenarios.

I was told by one moderator,(think the only mod I respect), a month ago I had a week ban, upon nearing the ban ending he told me upon my request regarding my status to contact the mod who banned my regard a one week chat ban, that admin blocked me and can't even plead my case. I decided with all of the rules and chat stuff aside, I should ask you people. What you would do if you were me? A- Ignore chat- it's dumb B- Continue despite flawed staff, paying for a service to dodge ads. You just don't know when to quit do you? This is a prime example of how truly awful your judgement is. It is a well-known fact that taking your beef public on these forums is a first-rate way to get banned completely from this entire family of sites. I'm surprised and highly doubt a moderator has you blocked, but unbanning cannot be done by any chat moderator, it has to be done by site staff, anyone with a red or green name. And those are the people you should have sent your message to. It wasn't forced in my age, though frowned upon if you did not abide. A three part question- 1- Should anyone who pays get favoritism? 2 - Is it ok for those who pay to get ignored? 3- Knowing that I was in the wrong and I am banned from chat, would you renew you support to the nexus after being ignored because some chat mods disliked you? (in the process of trying to figure out what is up, general question) In short, If you were banned from chat, would you renew your subscription knowing you couldn't chat? Thread locked. -myrmaad

Should people who make private material have free reign to flaunt it via the screenshots section of tesnexus? I appreciate all of the modders despite if I use their mods or not as they spent time to share their imagination and talent with myself and others. I have noticed on the mod detectives people asking for certain mods and people saying in some cases that they are private and/or they can't share. It sucks, it would be nice if they shared, maybe that's the lording or trolling thing, but you have to respect the authors of the work, they spent the time to make the mods. Is it right or wrong, I guess it's up to the mods of the nexus to decide. My opinion is if the people take the time to make the mods and share an image of it, they shouldn't be faulted for not sharing the mod itself, it is their work after all. It sucks that they don't share it, but ultimately, it's their work or work of their friends and told not to share(from what I gather in most cases).

I believe aliens exist, it would be rather dumb to think there was no possibility of life beyond earth with the universe as large as it is. I don't believe we are that special.

I agree, but with stipulations. If we fund education, make sure there are results, not just throwing money at a school so they can build a pool and stupid stuff like that. Invest into the system and have people accountable for receiving funds that merit results, if no results, no funding. No more funding foreign aid. That is one of the biggest issues, giving money away to countries when we don't help our own country enough. Especially giving money to countries like Pakistan for relations, such a waste.
