I ended up going way back and going to a chapel. I was just freaking out. I've been up for a few days, plus I thought I'd screwed my whole game over. But thanks anyways :)

It didn't work. That's what I'm trying to say.

So I became a vampire, and went online to try to figure out how to get rid of this. I tried the console/command thing whatever you call it, but it didn't work. So I went back on the website and it says something about a oblivion.ini. I tried searching for this and there is no such thing on this computer. I went to my documents/my games/ oblivion but all I found was a saves folder with all my saved games, and some notepad documents. I REALLY need help with this. Please, anybody help me. Yes, I did just recently start playing this game. Probably about 5 days ago, I'm only a level 4. I don't know much about the game at all so I have been posting on here quite a bit but this is the most important thing I've needed help on. Please, I'd really appreciate it!!

I don't know what happened. I ended up getting the quest, but I had to go and talk to the guy about 3 different times. I'm guessing it was probably some sort of glitch.

He finally ended up visiting me, but it was only after I went to jail. How is jail considered safe? I have no idea.

I'm getting kind of confused. I talk to people who obviously have quests that need to be done, I've even seen some of the quests on the UESP Wiki site, but then they don't give the quest to me. I have a lot of quests I'm not doing at the moment because I'm saving them until later, but why can't I do these quests? It's really frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what console commands are, I just started playing this game yesterday. I am on a PC. I got a bed at an inn and went to sleep, and no Lucien..

Lucien Lachance appeared while I was sleeping, so I went and murdered Rufio, but he hasn't appeared again and I've gone to multiple different beds. What's going on? It's really getting to me..
