  1. The Commonwealth just doesn't...sparkle enough. Not even the great, green jewel. I would like to see a whole bunch of bling added to the game. Possible features: -accessories for humans, dogs, supermutants, added to leveled lists and worn by NPCs, and/or bling bling blingity blinga bling versions of vanilla outfits -grills (occupying a "bandanna" slot?) -bling for robots, gen 1 & 2 synths...and feral ghoul reavers -bling workbench mods for weapons and armor, craftable bling (paints) for power armor -faction bling -bling-related quest? with a big zirconia-studded reward -a store/merchant...because you want your baby to have pretty things -workshop decorations for settlements -pimped-out cars 0 Links
  2. Anybody want to make a mod that removes ownership from items after the owner is killed? Also it would be good if it was not considered stealing to take things owned by people who are hostile toward you. If this already exists, someone please show me, because I have been looking and I can't find it.
  3. I saw the "flatulence" mod over at LL, which is great, 'cause farts = awesome. But I don't like having to craft and eat something to fart/stop farting. What would be great would be if someone would make a mod where you could bind a hotkey to randomly play one of several fart sound files. Even better if it works during dialogue. (Every time Danse starts talking, I want to fart in his face.) A nice bonus would be some way to select an NPC (maybe with a gun you can shoot them with?) and set them to fart at configurable intervals, with a "just randomly" option. You could build a settlement with a giant chorus of farting. So many farts in Sanctuary you won't hear those damn hammers!
  4. 1. Add a new edible fungus to the game. When you eat it, it will either give you an amazing stat/health bonus or will badly poison you. The chances of getting good or bad effects is based on luck. (Bonus points if you add a rare psychedelic effect that messes with your vision in some way.) 2. Unrelated idea: the player may designate a single favorite food or beverage that when consumed, applies one of several possible bonuses at random. Could be an earned perk, or not. 0 Links
  5. So, there are girl ghouls. They seem to all be wearing dresses. But the ones running around naked? To my eyes they seem unmistakably male. Only, something important is missing. Their copulatory instruments. We can never give them back their brains, which have decayed beyond healing. But can some sympathetic soul give the poor things something between their legs?
  6. Vertibirds are just missing a certain something...is it possible? I mean. To put nuts on them. ETA: Possibly for the Prydwen, too? You know Elder Maxson.
  7. I am having this exact same issue. I built a settlement beacon and it has attracted a whopping total of one settler. The 24 beds I built finally showed up in the workshop menu after a long delay (I left Sanctuary and just went around completing other quests). So now it is showing 1 settler, 24 beds, and the settler automatically assigned himself to food so I have some food, water from pumps, defense from a turret. I cannot assign anyone to anything, even with a vault-tec overseer terminal thingy. What are the console commands for the completion of the different stages of this quest? I haven't tried that yet. I do have a heavily modded game, but my mods have otherwise been so amazingly unglitchy and uncrashy that I would really like to avoid having to disable them and lose cool s#*!. If anyone knows a way to do anything about this in FO4Edit, that would also be extremely welcome.
  8. How do I get unfiltered search results when I am searching for mods? It seems no matter what I do, "blocked tags and authors" are always omitted from my search results. I can hit "clear filters" all day long and it doesn't make a difference. I don't know what tags are blocked or why, and I don't know what authors are blocked or why. I just want to turn this "feature" off.
  9. Okay, I can see in the Wrye Bash options why only Oblivion Character Overhaul is being imported. It and one other mod are the only source mods listed under "Import NPC Faces" in the options. Does anyone know how to add additional source mods to this list? There's no right-click context menu, but there has to be a way. Edit: It's handled by bash tags. My other cosmetic mods modify hair and eyes only, not faces, so they appear later on, in the race data section and not the NPC face data. Maybe I'm getting closer to figuring out the problem. Edit again: I think this might be just a bug in Wrye Bash, and it knows it's supposed to be randomly assigning the race data but it's not doing it. I'm going to ask the developers and see if they can help me.
  10. Thanks for responding, Striker. I see that message too when I rebuild my bashed patch, but I never see any of the COBL races hair/eyes, or any from my other cosmetic mods except a few from OCO, which do not appear to be randomly assigned at all. Wrye Bash must be only assigning vanilla hair and eyes, or that shouldn't be the case. I wish I knew how to make it consider the entire range of what I have installed. I also do not know how many NPCs Wrye Bash is targeting with that operation, either. It might be everyone or it might be a select number. The Wrye Bash manuals do not give any useful information about this, at least not that I can find.
  11. Does anybody know a way to force the game to randomly assign hairs and eyes to NPCs? I niavely thought that if I made a patch that removed eye and hair data from NPCs, the game would have to assign random values. Naturally this did not work. But is there a way to actually do this? I don't want to throw in the towel yet if there's something else I can try.
  12. You saved the day again, Munch. I went back and found an older save that is working! I lost a few hours of gameplay, but it's a lot better than having to start from scratch. You really saved my skin, thank you.
  13. Thanks for responding! I just disabled all my mods and loaded my save. It didn't fix the glitch, but instead of moving backwards I'm floating in the air and spinning. I can kind of move around with the directional keys a little, but I am being spun around in a slow circle that I can't control, so my movement is severely limited. I can't attack or cast. I can open my inventory, load and save the game, and use the console. I guess it must not be a mod. I was sure it must be because I have so many. Unless there's something I'm not thinking of.
