  1. PLEASE DISREGARD THE BELOW, I'M AN IDIOT AND HAVE FINALLY SOLVED THE PROBLEM If anyone could tell me how to delete this thread, or, failing that, who to message to delete this thread, that would be much appreciated. I am very sorry for cluttering up the board with what has turned out to be a useless thread. I have been trying to get Fallout: New Vegas running (with NVSE) for the past three days, and I've been running into the same issue over and over again. The game works fine right until I install New Vegas Script Extender, and launch the game with the NVSE launcher. After this, it crashes to desktop as soon as it is launched, regardless of which launcher one uses to launch it. The only fix is to reinstall, and it breaks again in exactly the same way whenever I attempt to install NVSE again. This has been the case with both NVSE 4.5 and NVSE 5.0b2. The first two attempts I followed the instructions on http://nvse.silverlock.org/ with regard to getting NVSE up and running. Most recently, I also looked up a video tutorial, in case I was screwing up the written instructions somehow. I followed the procedure described/shown in the video in question (https://www.youtube(dot)com/watch?v=qYgAU9uC_h4), and I can't find any way in which I diverged from the instructions (and they seem identical to the instructions on silverlock.org). Nevertheless, New Vegas is broken again, and I'm going to have to install it again. Might anyone be able to diagnose the issue? I'm willing to provide whatever additional information might be needed.
