  1. Ok. After more testing, I think it's safe to say that the problem is solved. So here is the conclusion: The problem: -My GPU was overheated, to the point it exceeded the temperature limit, which is 83 C by default, so it throttle itself to remain under the heat limit after 15 minutes of gameplay. This is dueled to the fact that my GPU fans wasn’t performed at full potential. SOLUTION: -Download MSI Afterburner, set the fan speed curve to a more aggressive percentage (100% at 70 C), and the GPU no longer throttle. Solid 60 fps during my 2 hours of testing. I post this here so if anyone’s having the same issue, here is a throughout solution. Kudo to the Nexus member AtomicFallout757 of the Buffout 4 community, who pointed out the GPU heat issue right away, just by seeing my before and during pictures of the lag. Seriously, thank you kind sir. You are the light in the deepest dark for me and so many people. I can’t thank you enough. And that’s it. See you guys out there in the waste, fellow wanderers.
  2. Ok, I need more testing, but I think we made it. I’ve downloaded MSI Afterburner, set the fan speed curve to a more aggressive percentage (100% at 70 C) and the game didn’t lag after over an hour of playtime, which is an absolute revolution for me. Never archived this. Like I said, I need more long term playing sessions to confirm this, but I’m 98% sure we made it.
  3. Nope. Switched to my 1TB HDD. After 15 minutes, the game still started to lag. So it's not the 4TB HDD's fault. The old HDD is a Seagate Barracuda 4TB (2017), switching to a HDD WD Black 1TB (2013). According to the Task Manager's graph, my CPU is running at 93% at max. The FPS normally always at solid 60, but after 15 minutes, it dunked to 30 and can never be recovered, no matter what I do. The only way to fix this is save, close the game and reboot it. Yep. The issue still there. At this point i'm kinda at the dead end. No idea how to fix this.
  4. Ok. I'll try switching to my 1TB HDD with higher benchmark and less storage being used. Should be easy enough with Vortex. I'll report back the result after I have done so. Thank you!
  5. -This is the CPU temperature, before the lag: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/207173 -This is the CPU temperature, during the lag: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/207174 In conclusion: I don't think it's the CPU's heat my man. The cores are nice and cool (all within 50 Celsius, which from what I heard is amazing). And ignore the FPS counter, it's very high when I alt-tab out of the game. -Oh, ignore the Buffout error, I used the "CTD" console command to crash the game intentionally. It's a very cool utility feature of the mod Console Commands Extender. -I have ruled that possibility out quite early, by switching between weathers rapidly (my weather mod NAC X have weather loading features), and lo and behold, solid 60 FPS on every type of weather. I don't think it's the problem my man. Like I said, the only abnormal thing I have noticed is the fact that my hard drive "active time" and "disk transfer rate" (read and write speed) are near to non-existing when the game started to lag, according to the Task Manager performance graphs. Something is preventing the disk to work properly, or lower the disk reading capacity, I don't know, I can only read what the graphs showed me. Can you think of a reason for this kind of shenanigans, because it is super weird. I haven't seen or heard of anything like this before.
  6. This is the graph before the lag: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/207147 This is the graph, during the lag: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/207149 For some strange reasons, my hard drive refused to work at full capacity, if not at all during the lag. Any idea how to fix this?
  7. EDIT: Ok. Seriously, thank you kind sir. You are the light in the deepest dark for me and so many people. I can't thank you enough. And that's it. See you guys out there in the waste, fellow wanderers. *** My game start out real smooth (solid 60 fps in my settlement Sanctuary), then becomes very laggy after 10 to 15 minutes of playing (30 fps in the same location). I think I have a memory leak, which is a totally new concept to me. My game is modded (218 plugins total, more info below), and I have some modding knowledges, specifically: load order, BethINI tweaking, using the mod Buffout 4, and FO4Edit. I have basic knowledge about PC (been using it my whole life), and unfortunately: zero about codding, computer mechanics,... You know, the good stuff, so i have no clue how to fix this or even where to start. Any help will be tremendously appreciated, and I mean ANY. Point me to a direction and I'll chase it, whatever it cost. I love this game too much, and I can't live without it (long story short: it's basically my life), or at least not having to play for 15 minutes, save, quit the game, then load it up again. If I have a code for this situation, it will be code RED, since it freak me the F out rn. Anyway, enough of me whining, here is some more infos for you guys who want to help: -My rig: -My mod manager is Vortex. -My Plugins and Load Order: -From my knowledge, the papyrus log files can be quite useful in some situations, so here is my Papyrus.0.log file: https://pastebin.com/sW3CGaGD -Some of the methods I tried and failed to fix the problem: [2021 Tips] How to Fix Fallout 4 Lag Issue -My crash log greated by the mod Buffout 4, using the "ctd" (crash to desktop) command from the mod Console Commands Extender, at the moment that my game was lagging: https://pastebin.com/AdstDg9p That's the end of my knowledge. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your time. I will proceed to find the answer while waiting patiently for your comments. Sincerely. Tan.
  8. My companions keep falling behind and it a pain in the ass to run across the god damn map to get them. Waiting won't do the trick. Can you guys make a mod so that we can teleport companions to player in the survival mode? Thank you.
  9. When you enter a power armour, you lose all your stats from your armours and accessories. That sucks! Why don't we make a mod so that even when you're in a power armour, you also gain stats and legendary effects from your under armours and stuff. It will be epic!!! p.s: i know that there're already a mod can do that, but it's a pre-creation kit mod and has a very limited power (only keep 1 legendary effect at a time and max SPECIAL at 12). What we need is something effective and gain ALL the effect of the clothes and armours. That's what we call a true unnaked power armour!!!
  10. I'm now level 275 and max out all the perks (cause i'm using some exp mods). Clearly there's nothing for me to do now except doing some quest and finish all the story lines, or bulding some bases ect... I wonder why can't we have an unlimited SPECIAL mod, so end-game players can continue to power up their character after 1-200 hours of gameplay? Thanks. p.s: sorry for my bad English :D
