  1. Have you used the DA Modmanager before (on any other system or with any other version of DA)?
  2. Are you sure you only have 1 copy of chargenmorphcfg.xml in your override folder?
  3. Ahh TerraEx, you are amazing!! Thank you so much for answering this post! Solved my problem perfectly. You're right, I deleted them because I thought they were left over from the chargenmorph compiler. Then I forgot I deleted them. Sorry for my late reply, been busy lately. Easter break here I come!! Thanks again, and also to Thandal for answering me too. Cheers! Edit: fixed grammar
  4. Thanks for your reply Thandal. Unfortunately it won't fix my problem, because I used a morph compiler (I'm 99% sure it was that one - got it from this site too [dragonagenexus]) from the beginning, then went through checking each one to make sure I wanted all the changes. Any more ideas? It's driving me crazy! I hate unsolved problems :wallbash:
  5. Hi; been searching on these forums for a similar topic, but I can't find one. I've been combining various custom content (Cosmetics, hair, skin, etc) - into a single chargenmorphcfg.xml file (from now on I'll just call it chargen.xml) but have a problem with male characters. When I go to generate a new character from the in-game chargen, every one of them starts with bright blue eye makeup. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, just set eye makeup strength to "0", but obviously males in the chargen don't have this option. Stupidly, all females generated in the chargen have makeup strength default to "0", and you use a slider to make it visible. This is a weird problem that I can't seem to fix. It's as though something is overriding the default male skin textures with the eye makeup flag set to "1", but even when I clear out the override folder of all mods except the files needed for the chargen.xml file, it still happens. The reason the eye shadow is blue is because under <eyes_makeup_colors> in the chargen.xml, "t1_mue_bl1" is the first file listed (which roughly translates to t1_makeup(eye)_blue1). If I flag some of these out, so that (for example) "t1_mue_or1" is the first one on the list, all male characters have brilliant orange makeup instead. I can get rid of the problem completely by not having an <eyes_makeup_colors> branch in the chargen.xml file, but that means I can't set custom eye makeup in the chargen for females either (part of the whole point of of what I'm trying to do in the first place). This issue doesn't change any in-game character appearances (ie, no male NPC/main characters have eye makeup during gameplay), nor does it affect custom head morphs added to a savegame with the toolset. But character generated with the character generator screen does keep their eye makeup once a new game is started. I have added a custom head morph to the chargen which DEFINITELY has its eye makeup flag set to "0", but it also shows up as having blue makeup on in the character generator screen. Has anyone else ever come across this? There's 3 possible solutions I can think of: 1) Is there some way to make the custom makeup colors only available to girls (the way the chargenmorphcfg.xml does with hair?). 2) Is there a way to make a completely clear tint (ie, only alpha mat) for eyes, that I can rename to make it appear first on the <eyes_makeup_colors> section, so that the male skin textures can show makeup strength = 1 but with no visible effect? 3) Does dracomie's true textures override the default male textures to include eye makeup? That's the only mod I can't really figure out, since it uses an installer instead of an override Finally, what are the default eye makeup tints called? Mine are all: <resource name="t1_mue_bl1" /> <resource name="t1_mue_bl2" /> <resource name="t1_mue_bl3" /> . . . . . . (skip a few) <resource name="t1_mue_ye1" /> <resource name="t1_mue_ye2" /> <resource name="t1_mue_ye3" /> Thank you to anyone who can help!!
