  2. Possibly, but so far so good, since the reinstall of those mods i haven't really had many crashes. In those 2 days, literally only 2 crashes, and my FPS seems to be back to normal (guessing NMM messed up the previous mod installs somehow as i was getting some FPS dips when i shouldn't have). Thankfully i back up my saves every once in a while, so if something does happen i always have a save to go back to. :)
  3. I haven't actually used Sim Settlements at all, it was installed and activated, but never used. As far as the CTD, it seems to have been caused by AWKCR, since the crashes stopped as soon as i removed it and the files that depended on it. I went ahead and reinstalled AWKCR after a while (new version was released in the meantime), and the crashes haven't returned yet so i'm gonna start reinstalling the other mods i removed at the time one by one, starting with Sim Settlements, then moving on to Armorsmith, Better Manufacturing and that sorter mod. Will be making a few passes near Reeb marina just in case to make sure everything works. Here's the thing i noticed with my save file sizes. Before the removal of these mods, my file sizes were approximately 37mb per save. After the removal, any new saves are approximately 13mb in size.
  4. So all of a sudden my game has developed the tendency to crash to desktop. Now, in the logs i'm about to post, there's mention of Sim Settlements, which i have uninstalled, so i have no idea why they're appearing, in any case, if someone could take a look and see what could be crashing my game, that'd be awesome. I also had Armorsmith Extended but removed it in case it was causing the CTD, which unfortunately wasn't the case. EDIT: So i went back to a previous save, this one was in Sanctuary, did some stuff there (rebuilt a store, blah blah blah), no CTD, then went back to where it kept crashing (Reeb Marina), and boom, the moment i enter the area, the game crashed. Can't for the life of me figure out why. EDIT2: Did more testing, turns out it was AWKCR that causing the CTD, at least according to the game that hasn't crashed since i disabled it.

  8. Somehow figured it out. I had "run as administrator" and compatibility mode on. Somehow that just makes it all messed up. So if this happens to anyone else, just turn those things off.
  9. So i was using the G.E.C.K for hours yesterday with no issue. Today, i start it up to continue work on my mod, everything is working perfectly when all of a sudden my whole screen turns black and i have to alt tab to the desktop (which doesn't show the desktop, but a black screen with the taskbar at the bottom) and i have to shut down G.E.C.K from there to make the black screen disappear. So far i've tried uninstalling the G.E.C.K and the 1.5 update. Still shows the black screen after a random amount of time. Has anyone come across this issue before? I tried googling it but found nothing (will contirnue trying).
  10. So i'm making myself a vault, i've placed the entrance with the gear door and put down the control panels. Set up reference ID for each panel and the door. I double click the door, go to activate parent tab, set so it can only be activated by a parent object, then selected the parent in the render window, but every time i click "ok", activate parent tab stays empty, it doesn't add the object to the list. Could it be due to Windows 8? Nevermind, my mistake.

  13. Thank you, i will check it out. :smile: Although it seems that the issue was with a vanilla script, more specifically the trigger script for the shelf. EDIT: Just tested out the script fix i found in a different thread (removing 2 lines in the trigger script) and it didn't work. Still showing extra slots.
  14. I'm making a house for myself (might even upload it to the workshop when it's done), and moving room to room as i place objects. I made a bookshelf, it works quite well (used the tutorial on the wiki) except it has one problem. Every time i remove books from it, another book slot gets created. Basically i put a few books on the shelf, removed a few by interacting with them directly on the shelf, and removed the rest by using the bookshelf inventory.However, next time i used the bookshelf it said "You can place 19 more books on this shelf", after that it was 20 books and i'm assuming this number will keep increasing. I only have 18 book markers on the shelf. So how could this be happening? EDIT: Since the physical bookcase i'm using has three shelves, i just copy pasted all the markers (it would have been a pain in the butt if i had to link all that again). Could this be the issue?
  15. Got another question. I made my custom container, but how do i make it spawn random (and leveled) loot when the cell loads for the first time (i have already set it not to respawn, but do wish to be able to find some items initially)?
