  1. Well.. I love NV, a game built by men for men mainly. And I can't say I have any complaints or need for a change (ASIDE FROM MODDERS NOT ALLOWING MY MALE CHARACTERS TO RUN AROUND NAKED (Generally only female naked ;-;)) Seriously, stop reading romance novels in regards to your Boone rant. That's kinda cheesy and unlikable for me. IN FACT! I always kill Boone. The only companions I want are Rex, and my home-made Ghost Harvester squad. I don't think I'd enjoy this mod (IMO) I just can't see it really pleasing me.. IF you get get a Silent Hill style mod where you wake up in a TOWN and have to get yourself in check. I'd love you forever.

So, I am making a few adjustments to weapons, and after renaming them and making them have proper ammunition consumption based on the models (.406 for the Hunting Rifle now, and .22LR for Varmint Rifle) I come across the sound portion of my adventure. Now. It makes me happy that I figure out how to get my custom sounds in game. So I go in and change the sound for the Colt .45 Silencer shot. But. It sounds like it's been slowed down at least 50% and the volume's been cut in half too. Looking at other files, they are all in the same file placement as mine, and are the full normal speed files and such, but play at their right speed. I mean, what the hell. Why are my sounds so slow. Examples: BEFORE GECK: http://filesmelt.com/dl/WPN45pistol_2DSil._.wav AFTER GECK: http://filesmelt.com/dl/WPN45pistol_2DSilBAD.wav Questions: Source of file? I get the sounds myself, no other sources. Is file placement correct? Data>Sound>FX>Wpn>Silencers If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
  3. So wait, if I go off and merge two game (That I bought, I didn't torrent) files together, I can't? Wait, I own copies of the files *epic face* I can do it. I cannot just give YOU (anyone) the files. what you do with your own files isn't their business. I know HOW to do this, BSA merge, add a portal to a new world (probably that abandoned train tunnel.) and magic. Then I merge the DLCs into it, and. MORE MAGIC. Seeing as unless you're doing the FO3 main storyline you won't see much logic bugs. I'm good (I didn't like the main quest all that much.) Don't you love how things work? I've LOST my copy of FO3 disk so I will not be doing this for a LONG time. But yeah, it's simple how to do it. ^^ They aren't coming into everyones homes and taking your files to read them and to see if you merged your games togther, and plus. It's not online, that dithers the possibilities of checking the files even more. But sure, Obsidian/Bethesda can do what they want. Not like everyone in this site has been good and BOUGHT every single song. ^^

  5. - It's been YEARS; NCR has constructed farms (Old lady in Chernobyl grows food in the irradiated soil and she lives without cancer) - Gun Runners can go out and get scrap (Cause in a wasteland it just, kinda exists in quantity) - People have guns cause they can kill people with a gun and collect from there (gangs are able to go out without a gun, beat up an NCR group and get their weapons (OR FIND A KNIFE)) KEEP IN MIND; -Ammo would be scarce however (gun powder is hard to find) -The currency needs a change Some reasonable changes. - I would LOVE to have it more like STALKER where you have anomalies (I f***ing loved Roadside Picnic) and have to heal bleeding wounds every time you got shot as apposed to taking on an entire mag of pistol rounds before the game even thinks about CRIPPLING A WOUND... LIGHTLY! - Radiation sickness should actually DO SOMETHING TO YOU! Instead of SLIGHTLY budging at your stats with no real difference noticed. - Shooting a man in the head regardless of him seeing you prior should kill the man, shooting him in the arm should kill his ability to shoot, and the other arm, to aim. His legs should be able to diminish his walking abilities after one shot. (same all applies to you to keep Fallout's fairness system working) -I agree with it being about surviving more than doing s*** (that can be left to The Elder Scrolls) make sure you can set up a home (because Fallout is tagged as a nuclear SIMULATOR for some reason) once you have got a home, like an abandoned one, you have to kinda make sure it isn't destroyed and defend it maybe (like a less advanced Wasteland De fence Mod) and have it so you cannot carry more than humanly possible, one set of armour, and four guns max. (fairness now, NPCs generally only carry 1-3 weapons) -more ragdoll effects on bodies. Those are my two cents.

Well, I wanted to make an electric shotgun shell because it would be cool (And I've seen awesome explosive rounds and other ammo stuff) Now I just MODIFIED the original 12 and 20 gauge shells, but how the heck do I put it into the Ammo12ga ammo list?? I'm confused greatly. I do wanna test this out, and I'm learning the basic scripting of how things work. But getting this into the ammo list is annoying the F**K out of me. Help someone who likes making weird stuff.
