I've searched and searched and searched and searched and could only find: -The amazing Journal mod. I use this mod, though it is not exactly what I am looking for. This lets you write BOOKS. I want little NOTES. -Threads dated early 2008, 2007, or 2006 where it wasn't even possible -People asking if they can write notes in Oblivion only to get a no -People asking for a similar mod only to get the Kyoma's Journal Mod recommendation, which is exactly what they aren't looking for I don't want books, I don't want automatically generated notes, I want notes that I can write. Consider it a lot like writing in the journal in the famous journal mod, only it's on scraps of paper. If someone could create a mod like this or link me to one (I swear to Akatosh, if you link me to the friggin Journal Mod that I already have and love, I will personally stab you in the neck D:), it would be much appreciated.

It's not directly related to a mod. After I killed off the Imperial soldiers (messenger, captain, etc), I could enter just fine. It must have been one of them causing it. Solved.

Can't be my card. She's in good shape, drivers are all good, and the card hasn't changed one bit before this problem started and after. All other games work flawlessly. PC Specs as requested: RAM: 3.00 GB Ram (2.74GB usable) PROCESSOR: AMD Athlon II P340 Dual-Core - 2.20GHz VIDEO CARD: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 w/ up-to-date drivers (4200 series) OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (without SP1) I'll get some better screenshots soon. The issue is most prominent if I, for example, stand on a large mountain and look down on the Imperial City. The water seems to slice and cover up bits of the city. I can't even see much beauty in the distance because of this. The issue does not occur to anything up close. If you'd notice in the second screenshot link I provided, to the middle of the right, there's something that looks like scratch marks that I failed to notice previously and circle with paint. On the ground and walls much closer to me, this does not happen. In the first screenshot as well, in the distance an arrow points to a little slice in the ground. On the ground closer to me, this does not happen. Again, I'll get much better screenshots to better exemplify the issue.

Note: This is NOT related to any of the "video" settings on the options menu. I've tried and tried messing with them to fix the issue and absolutely nothing was fixed. I've also tried disabling ALL of my mods as well. Even with them all off, Oblivion still looks funky. Thank you so much, HelloStranger! It worked FLAWLESSLY and fixed ALL of my issues regarding taking a screenshot. From now on, if I want to take a screenshot, I guess I'll have to temporarily change to not-wide-screen, but then again, I don't take many screenshots so that won't be a hassle. Thank you again. Now I can post the core issue that lead me to wanting to take screenshots to begin with.

Paint can't even open it. Everything I have cannot open it, except for the one I mentioned.

Every time I take a screenshot, I get a file that I cannot upload anywhere (it's a .bmp, though it still won't work for some odd reason) and that I cannot open with any program, except for QuickTime Photoviewer or whatever the hell it is. No other programs are using the Print Screen key and I know for sure I edited the .ini file CORRECTLY (seriously, how damn hard is it to change a 0 to a 1?). I cannot take a screenshot using a third party program as far as I'm concerned (I've tried), because Oblivion seems to "lock in" all of my keyboard presses. I wanted to take a screenshot of a very funky thing happening where things seem to get "sliced up" and extremely jagged when I reach a certain distance. The f'd up screenshot manages to display that correctly (refer to the very left of the screenshot, notice the little "layering" look - look to the right too, before that random diagonal line slices it in half, it happens there too), but it f's up everything else. No color, weird horizontal lines like it was made on a 1980's monitor, and the weird diagonal line slicing it. Could I get help on this issue so I can take a decent screenshot to display a rather detailed view of the graphics bug I have? If anyone is willing to help on both my graphic bug and screenshot bug, I'd appreciate that as well. The graphic bug seemed to have happened after I installed the UOP. I've tried the LODgen. From a medium distance, things look like they would without anti aliasing, only it is exaggerated 10-fold (this means it's not an aliasing error...). From a long distance, everything seems to be cut up horizontally.

This little bug hasn't come for a little while now. I've changed around a few of my mods, so perhaps it could be mod related. It's fairly likely it'll come about again. Should this issue come about again, I'll bump this thread with my load order. Thank you for your support in the mean time.

Yes, but this also occurs on my laptop's touchpad clicking (both the built-in "tap click" on the touchpad itself and the clicking buttons just under it). The touchpad itself is PS/2.

Erm... I really appreciate your suggestions, but I don't think "nuking" the drivers for my mouse and reinstalling/letting windows re-discover them is going to help, since it's ONLY an Oblivion issue. Not sure if I mentioned this, but sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
