So I've seen some files(quite a few actually) have the NMM option to download, but NMM itself doesn't detect Stardew valley as like, a choice/option in game detection. Is this normal? Apologies if I've put this in the wrong place. (Image below is just an example)

So I found that NMM wasn't updating anymore so i figured I would do a clean slate and download the latest NMM. Problem is, when I try to do the download, it loses connection. I've tried Chrome(My usual browser) , IE, and Edge, and neither work. I've not a clue why this is happening. (Also I'm completely new to this forum so, sorry if I've started this in the wrong part/thread or something.)

So I've tested a few "no level requirements" for perks mod, and none of them work. I don't have any of the DLC and I don't ever plan on getting them. If I wanted a mod like this to work, would I need to get the DLC or is there someone who can make a mod/has made a mod where you don't need the DLC and it actually works??
