I want to thank the Staff and Community here at Nexus. I have been a member since 2011, when I was a lot younger, and upon my first few visits treated the place badly. Dante and several others had a lot of patience with me in chat, and thankfully, I never got banned from anything. It has always been a pleasure to come on here, look at all the mods, and see what there is to see. I've seen some pretty crazy things, from underwater houses in F:NV, to amazing looking swords in Skyrim. Everyone involved in these mods must pour a lot of heart and soul into them. I appreciate all the hard work guys. To the Admins: Thank you for regularly putting up with my shenannigans from time to time, as I know that it can be a strain when dealing with people who clearly don't understand that rules are rules, and are not, infact, made to be broken. To Dark: Thank you, you amazing person. You started all this some time before I found it and got here, but, wow, to see it grow and change from even when I joined into what it is today takes a lot of commitment to the cause. I know you've suffered DDoS attacks from time to time by people who should know better, or who think it's funny, but you always perservered. So from one enthusiast to a whole army of others: Thank you all for making this place wonderful to be in, and for making me feel welcome no matter what I've had going on, because all of you help make my modding experiences so much better.

I think from how the Boardgame plays out and how this game showed what would happen to those THREE marines in a Ork Horde was great! Multiplayer does have its balance issues (Get Lazcannoned in the head yet?). As someone who played Fire Warrior, which was one of the first of the Warhammer 40k Games released, Space Marine seemed like a logical movement for them. Oh, and Dark, the reason they went with Ultramarines is due to how many people actually play them in the minatures. Everywhere I go in my area its Ultramarines or go home, and they also use the Ultramarines as the posterboys for the Space Marine codex.

Something I have noticed is that on the old page, some of us had to use Compatibility Mode with IE (Long story, don't hate me for it). Turn that off and you will have no problems.

It would depend on which Power Rangers series (Drawing from my years of being a small child and be glued to the TV) We could pull of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. That one was land based, and I think the costumes from that one would be better than the other Zordon being the mainstream leader one, which was Zeo. Now if we could find a Mod Maker O.o I would but I can't figure it out/won't have time with going to College >.<

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could do a set of Samurai Armor? It goes with the cannon (F3 has a set in the Mothership Zeta DLC) Thanks for the read through!

Hey guys, the error code is above (The one thats is forcing the bluescreen to happen). Now my major issue is, I cannot reformat my computer. I do not have a disc set of Windows XP Media Center edition thanks to Best Buys lovely marketing scheme. The video card I am running is a nVidia 9800 GT that was produced by..Asus I think? It was given to me by a friend after he switched to a ATI Radieon 4450. Any help will be appreciated!

I had a Logitech Trackman (Old style that they just converted to wireless :wallbash: ) only to now upgrade to a Cooler Master Tactical Storm Inferno mouse. It feels slightly awkward to use, but its because I am going from huge hand rest to the smaller mobile form. I will endure like you have and learn to use!

Didn't Blizzard just hire Bungie to do the porting of a game to console? Bungie said "See you Starside"

Old World Blues Issues
Atalish replied to Atalish's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks for the help! I will use those commands (I'll swap 03 for 04) and then I will get that Mod. I loved The Sink and I want to go back (Curse you having a save file with over 200 hours on it) -
Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been around in a while, Vid Card Drivers are going zzzzztttt, but thats another topic So, with the completion of Old World Blues and the recieving of the Big Mountain Transteleponder, I have run into a nice fancy issue: I cannot teleport back to Big Mountain. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it, or the console commands for me to be able to get the game to force teleport me to Big Mountain? Thanks for the help everyone, even ideas would be phenominal at this point, I don't want to have to restart >.<

Old World Blues crashes upon completion

Do a Steam File Validation. That should hopefully fix your problem. If it doesn't have you tried updating drivers? -
OWB - Sink Central Intelligence Unit Problem
Atalish replied to Dcrim's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I would suggest trying a Steam File Verification of New Vegas. That would scan all the files and you are most likely missing some. To do this scan you right click on Fallout: New Vegas and go to properties. Click on Local Files then press verify integrifty of game cash Hope this helps! -
Disabling force field in OWB
Atalish replied to Deleted1744345User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Okay, so in OWB, you will receive the Sound gun (I forget its name, Steam is having issues). When you get to the part where you gotta do a quest in a highschool senario (I dont know how to use the spoiler thing, so I'm not saying more) you get the option to do an advanced mode and that will unlock the magic upgrade for the sound gun. Hope this helps, and if you want me to tell exactly how/where you get it PM me, although the quests hand it to you on a silver platter. -
When we are in the case of a Dictatorship, I tend to difer to my handy guide of what to do Step 1: Did I piss the mods off? Y/N? Step 2: If N continue about my existance Step 3: If Y, promptly apologize and pray that the powers at be don't decide that the almighty Banhammer is the appropriate tool to use on this poor fool If all else fails: Beg for forgiveness, because what do some mods enjoy more than good ol' fashioned begging?

I personally enjoyed New Vegas much more, due to the implementation of the gun modding, and how much easier it was to command my companions (Instead of telling them to go home by giving them a shot to the head >.>) New Vegas also flowed much better in the story than 3 did, because you go from "Oh hey, your a baby" to "Oh hey, I'm the ultimate BA from the Capital Wasteland". New Vegas had you getting shot in the head to start and you go on a quest to continue your delivery of the package. Another reason why I enjoyed New Vegas was the fact that the companions had they're own story arcs, rather than being a flat character that was just there to take a missle for you (Except for Fawkes). What do you all think?

Wing Commander series and Dark Forces series are my two favourite Retro games! They both just had me sucked in for Replayablility and who doesnt love Sci-Fi? EDIT: Oh, and how could I forget the classic X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter and Mechwarrior game series? Starcraft, Warcraft?

Mods are designed to run in whatever folder you put the Oblivion files in, as long as they go into the Data folder for Oblivion I bleieve.

Hey Everyone, I wanted to drop a line in the Noob thread because not many people know me. I enjoy helping with Beta testing things, and computer issues, unless smoke and Diode bits are coming out of your box, then your on your own.

is Honest Hearts anti-mormon?
Atalish replied to jeremiahbelt's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
Honest Hearts is not Anti-Anything, unless its Vault 22. I felt that Joshua Graham was handled very well with his religion, and there was not any bashing of any religion involved in the making of it. FL:NV was most likely created by a diverse team with many different religious backgrounds, so you shouldn't have to worry about any hating of religions. -
NV crashes randomly
Atalish replied to GamingLady's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Could this be an issue with your computers hardware? Is your video card/RAM at what is requires at base? Perhaps the graphics are too high. Another thing I would suggest looking into is doing a Defrag, that helps to clear up some problems. Oh and update your drivers, that should help.
