  1. I don't know how much you know about modding so I'll explain as detailed as possible. For Windows, you do the following: 1. Since most files on the Witcher nexus are compressed as archives in .rar, .7z or .zip format, you'll need a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip to unpack them. Download and install one of them if you haven't already, they're both free. 2. Choose the mod you want and download it, then open the file using WinRAR and extract it to a chosen location on your computer. I suggest you extract it to your desktop for now. 3. Next you need to locate your CookedPC folder, which can be found at your Witcher 2 install directory (not in My documents!). For the retail version, it'll probably be in C:/Program Files/The Witcher 2. (If you bought the game from Steam it's in C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/The Witcher 2.) This is where you place your mods. (If you don't have a CookedPC folder in that location, just create a new folder and name it "CookedPC".) 4. Move the mod from your desktop (or wherever you put it) to the CookedPC folder. Always make sure you put the mod EXACTLY where it's supposed to be; some mods go directly in the main CookedPC folder while others need to be placed in certain subfolders inside the CookedPC folder or they won't work (most of the time they are included with the mod, otherwise you can just create them yourself). If this is the case it is usually mentioned in the mod description on the site. For the "Return of the White Wolf - hair texture replacement" for example, the entire directory for the mod should be C:/Program Files/The Witcher 2/CookedPC/characters/player/model/head. 5. Start the game. If the mod file is where it's supposed to be, it should be in the game now. If it isn't, check the mod description on the site again and make sure you put it in the right place. Also remember to never install conflicting mods, like two different mods changing Geralt's hair color, because only one of them will work. Hope it helps! If you have questions about a mod in particular, just ask and I'll try to explain where to put it.
  2. Yeah, I also love the voices they've used in the game. Especially Iorveth's, it's sexy. The one he had in the alpha trailers was too dark for an elf if you ask me. But anyway, I'm not sure this would be possible to do because they probably didn't voice the entire game with the alpha voices and then switched to new ones at the last minute (because that would be a lot of work for nothing), they most likely just used those voices as temporary ones for the trailers.. So I doubt the alpha voice-over files exist, at least not for the entire game. Sorry.
  3. You can see Geralt's alpha face @ 1:25
  4. Yeah, I want this too. Seems kind of ridiculous that he's always wearing those ugly pants..
  5. I agree with you guys. It's ridiculous how many parents seem to think a child is "protected" as long as he/she doesn't witness sex in any way, while violence, blood and gore isn't considered harmful at all. But I'm sure the OP doesn't need my or your opinions in raising his/her child, so better to just be helpful.
  6. As far as I know, no sex scenes are forced on you. You have to choose certain, pretty obvious, dialogue and basically ask the women to sleep with you. The only nudity you cannot avoid is Triss, which you can remove by using this mod.

  8. Well, it's not exactly what you're asking for, but have you tried the Godmode mod? The Quen sign lasts a lot longer and signs, traps, bombs and your sword do more damage. Link: http://www.witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40
  9. There is already a mod that makes all the lesser and normal mutagens into greater mutagens. You can find it here: http://www.witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=48 (I didn't make the mod!)
  10. A face that looks more like this or this preferably
  11. Seconded! I would love this too :)
