  1. Not if I get my mods from Nexus, from here, paid mods be damned. I hope you're not being a sycophant and actually defending the whole paywall BS.
  2. In response to post #24652169. Well that's asinine, they banned you because they got butthurt? Really? Ugh.
  3. If free sites get screwed over by paid mods, people will always find a way to circumvent and pirate said mods, and glorious shall be the day it happens, and it will happen. Yes, modders do need more appreciation for their hard work, there's no refuting that, but forcing people to pay for mods (many of which are questionable in nature as far as how good they actually are), but cutting 75% of the revenue is just asinine. I really would love to see the paid mods system fail.
  4. In response to post #24634334. #24634469, #24635479, #24635574, #24635939, #24636679 are all replies on the same post. Because there are people we call white knight sycophants, trying to kiss Bethesda's butt.
  5. Bunch of f***ing losers, I fear Nexus is in for a long bumpy road. Thanks to those Bethestards, we're all screwed.
  6. Too bad for them that there is a way to get Workshop items for free, even paid ones. I won't say anymore on how to do it, but I know that it'll be done out of spite.
  7. Should have posted the problem HERE and not in the other part of the forums. Sorry for the confusion. Okay, I'm faced with a rather odd issue. To back up a bit, I just recently reinstalled Window 7 Pro 64-bit (since it was running unstably) and as a result, I had to reinstall Steam and Skyrim. The game is at the most recent version (1.3) and it runs surprising well, much to my joy. Before I installed Win7 Pro, the Lockpick Pro mod worked perfectly fine, as I installed it to the right directory, which is Skryim\Data\Interface. However, when I followed the instructions once more (after reinstall), it no longer works. You load a game, go to a lock and, the Lockpick Pro HUD no longer exists. What the crap is going on? I didn't do anything different before I resinstalled Windows, so how, or why would using 7 Pro make a mod suddenly stop working? Instructions I followed - http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/a2db8eb3513a2801bdeb2a6a8246aed095d9d7e2b8f2d5ea732d07ea6e0512bf5g.jpg Location of the files - http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/49521350696b7cfd7da300f53961fc3c7247ba0cc59fe7d8e88c89bbdc1c049f5g.jpg Both UAC and DEP are disabled, as well as having the most recent version of Adobe Player installed. Steam.exe is set up to run as Admin, so there shouldn't be an issue. Again, the files are where they should be.
  8. I'm really at a lost here. Should I right-click on Steam.exe and then "run as administrator"?
  9. Yep. Already installed, and the bloody thing still doesn't work properly (as the only thing I see pertaining to a "player" is for Firefox/Chrome). Unless there's something I actually install for the Window OS itself and not a web browser. Haven't seen any hope for getting this work yet.
