  2. Hello all, I am very unfamiliar with the GECK and have been trying to understand how to use the timer function. To get an understanding of how it works I am trying to create a timer which rewards the player 4xp every in game day or every 1 real life hour. Heres what I have written (go easy on me, I have no idea what I am doing) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ float timer begin gamemode if timer < 3600 set timer to timer + GetSecondsPassed else ;60 seconds have passed, do something special player.rewardxp 4 set timer to 0 endifend------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically I want this to repeat every real life hour or in game day. I was thinking it could be useful in a hoard mode mod or something else. Most of this script comes from the GECK website http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=GetSecondsPassed I wrote this script in the quest section under its own quest id, basically its a quest stage that's supposed to repeat forever but I could make it an actual script effect but I have even less experience with that. I tried forcing the quest using console commands in game but I think I wrote the script wrong and its in the wrong place. Any help would be appreciated.   4. A mod that gives soldier ability points for completing missions and for killing enemies or doing something like flanking an enemy. No this mod should be soldier ability points only and not XCOM ability points. This gives soldiers who do well something to differentiate themselves from other soldiers. Plus this would be amazing with the rogue overhaul mod which allows for soldier ability points to increase stats but for some reason not XCOM ability points. Honestly a mod for soldier ability points that is compatible with the rpg overhaul would be awesome and it doesn't have to reward soldier ability points for those specific reasons I mentioned but just reward ability points. Or a mod that allows you to convert XCOM ability points to soldier ability points would be amazing!
  5. Could someone please create a mod that causes soldier stats to increase as they are used? There is a mod that was never finished that has some of what I wanted but because it was never completed am unable to have the full experience. I will link it here and describe the experience I am looking for https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=627264819 TLDR Have soldiers stats increase as they are used, if hit then have a soldiers health and armor stats increase slowly. When they hit targets have soldier aim increase....etc. Maybe each successful mission could increase all stats just a little bit. The reason I suggest this is because I want to the player to be rewarded for smart play and not have to get hit or risk a dodge to increase those stats but to still have the stats increase as they do get hit, this adds multiple ways of increasing stats dynamically. I also recommend having the ability for the player to decide the rate at which the stats increase. I don't want stats to decrease for any reason but if you want to put that feature in you can but please but the ability to disable it in the mod. The stats tend to increase slower as your stats get higher so for example if you have a aim of 100 then it might take 10 or 12 missions to increase it to 101 but if your aim stat is 50 it might increase to 52 in one mission. It would also be cool if all of the applied to mechanical units and not just soldiers. Don't forget psi, defense (which is separate from dodge), and Strength! (if it does anything). Also a bit unrelated but if there are any permanent stats losses in the game the ability to remove those would be awesome! Thank you for reading!
  6. A sprint mod that not only changes your speed and ap usage based on your special stats but has the ability to let the player change the speed of the sprint. Also if the mod could be built with high special stats in mind so it won't break if you have 30 endurance or 30 ability. This allows it to be used with the xtra special mod but it also keeps the player from flying when they clip the sidewalk. Thanks!
  7. Basically, I can only take intense training 10 times instead of the normal infinite amount of times. When the mod is working the perk menu doesn't show I've ever taken intense training. I think it doesn't show in the perk menu of the pipboy either but I've never checked the perks section of the pipboy.
  8. Did you take the drug jet? For whatever reason, whenever I used that mod jet would always break sprinting until it wore off.

I installed darnified UI and realized that it somehow broke my infinite intense training mod....or at least I think it did so I uninstalled darnified UI to find it was still broken....after a complete uninstall and reinstall of the mod its still broken....I even tried renaming the mod to something else to see if that would fix it....I think the mod is basically a quest that starts and will remove intense training when you take it but due to the way New Vegas works it keeps the increase to your special stats. im at a loss for words....I have zero idea as to what could have broken it or if any of my other mods could now also be broken. I also started a new game to see if it was just the save but it still didn't fix it. If someone could take pity on me and help me figure out why it stopped working I will be eternally grateful.   10. Hey what's the best way for me to learn this without any previous mod, or coding experience...I want to make a pcs or overwrite an existing pcs to make the ultimate personal combat Sim that would have all of the highest pcs stats from the other ones.
  11. Could someone make a "perfect" personal combat Sim that will add the effects of every other Sim at the 3 tiers or at least the highest tier so you get the 4 hp, 33 dodge, etc? Thanks!
