  1. This is a year old and unresolved. I think I've figured it out: Compile.bat cd %2 "%~dp0PapyrusCompiler" %1 -f="TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" -i="%~dp0..\Data\Scripts\Source" -o="%~dp0..\Data\Scripts" pause F5 - Run command: "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim special edition\Papyrus Compiler\ScriptCompile.bat" "$(FILE_NAME)" "$(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)"TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg file belongs in /data/scripts/source. I'm getting source code compiler errors now but the compiler itself is working.
  2. Agreed. I'm trying to do the same thing. I learned that the Papyrus compiler is a separate package for instance. I'm now bringing up CK to see if I can figure this out. I'm a retired computer programmer so scripting is my strongest talent. It would feel good to simply alter or create new scripts. Maybe someday I'll create something to post on the Nexus.
  3. I'm glad I had a backup of the folder. I did just as instructed and copied over the executable and launched from SKSE64 without any problem.
  4. I already have an HTC Vive and a computer exclusively for VR which I haven't used in three months. Now I'm thinking about taking the plunge and getting Skyrim VR. It's $60 US which is steep but I have some cash stashed away for just such an emergency. ;-) From what I've read it's based on Skyrim SE and to me it seems that mods should work. I haven't bought it yet as there is one mod that I truly need installed before I play. It's the Insects Begone mod. I have terrible arachnophobia and seeing it on a flat screen is bad enough. Seeing one of them in 3D will probably give me a heart attack or worse! LOL!!! Anyway, has anyone tried it yet, playing with mods as they stand right now? Edit: Yes, someone has. He has a video and simple instructions to make it happen. I'm posting his link. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and buy it and start installing my favorite mods. 5. I know this is a sort of old thread but I wasn't sure whether to start a new one or keep to this one for consolidation. To start with, yes, my version is legit. I've had this working for three months and I had some kind of bug on something totally different whereby I reinstalled Skyrim SE and steadily and slowly reapplying mods. I have the XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended installed and a few other mods that require it. Yet when I run it I get this: FNIS Behavior V7.2 3/30/2018 8:45:24 AM Skyrim SE 64bit: 1.5.23.0 - D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ (Steam) Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (115 bones) male: XPMS2HDT (115 bones) Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Reading FNISBase V7.2 ... All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files... Alternate Animation mods: 0 sets: 0 total groups: 0 added file slots: 0 alternate files: 0 Creature Pack not installed 0 animations for 1 mods successfully included (character) The only check box marked is "Skeleton Arm Fix". I've uninstalled and reinstalled XP32 and ran the program and no changes are taking place. I'm going to keep trying to figure this out but if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please feel free to tell me. If I figure it out I'll post what I did. Thanks. Edit: I had missed reactivating a master file that all the others depended upon. It's working fine, a user mistake.
  6. It's an old thread but I'm having the same problem. I get 1-2 FPS now, even reinstalling and playing plain vanilla (i.e.: no mods). I play at 3840x2160 running on NVidia GTX 960M with 4GB of RAM on board. Just to be sure, I'm playing Skyrim SE. I can change the screen size to 1920x1080 and get 9 FPS. No matter what setting (Ultra, High, etc.) I use the result is the same. Until a few days ago I decided to switch from Nexus Mod Manager to Mod Organizer 2 and that's when it all started. Today, well almost two days ago now, I switched back to NMM. I knew it shouldn't make a difference but that was really the only thing different. I've reinstalled SSE three times this week and am running out of ideas. (I did as above and deleted the .ini files and what-not and nothing changed.) Edit: Solved ten minutes after I posted this! The SKSE.ini file in Data/SKSE was changed. I had followed someone's instructions on setting up MO2 and they got rid of a very important line. [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 That's all that was needed. The game is playable again.
  7. I think quite a few of us play it differently. For instance, my character and followers are explorers and treasure hunters. I try to stay clear of a quest unless it leads me to something unique. I also avoid the Thieves Guild as the Dragonborn has a hero status to uphold. So my mod list may not fit what you or others would have or like. That's the beauty of this game, you can make it your own. :)
  8. If this has been requested before I apologize. I just haven't found it. I have the flight animation, the predator vision mod, and something to beef up the perks. After all, he is the killer of dragons, a superhero that the guards even say, "It's an honor to stand before you, Dragonborn." So I thought, "What if I play it as such?" I'm looking for something like Superman's costume. It would be white (or whatever color others would like) with a triangle and a DB inside it with the B slightly lower than the D. That would be in red (or again whatever color others would like). His cape, trunks, and boots would be the same color as his insignia. As a side request: I have a female companion. I'm thinking about something that would look good for her in a sexy sort of way the comics did back before they all went "dark". Maybe something like Powergirl, Supergirl, or Wonder Woman using the same color scheme. Thanks, MOSM
