  1. I'm honestly glad I'm not the only person that's finding the current site appearance extremely unpleasant, though even the more mild versions for the site could do so if viewed for long enough.
  2. @RealmEleven: Your post is too long for me to quote, but I think you and I are somewhat thinking along the same lines with regard to the "Petulant Child" and some of its comments elsewhere. It seems to me that this happening while there are attacks being made on Sony's Playstation Network for people being banned for "hacking" their PS3s may in fact be deliberate; I know that there are people out there that have done that for the specific reason of modding their PS3 games, so there may be some motivation for the attackers there to join in on an attack on a mod distribution site for doing the exact same thing to users.
  3. @midtek: One man or an army of hackers, it all boils down to a lack of respect for other people; I stand with Dark0ne, and have said as much in a news article on Dark Times: The Confederacy of Malkuth news article on DDoS attack on The Nexus sites. @Dark0ne: We site administrators need to support each other and show those that would try to intimidate us that we will not bend from the mere threat of attacks against our sites for some imagined slight against the outraged party making them.
  4. As lead administrator of a fairly new Dragon Age mod team's website (the site is, not the mod team), I can empathize with Dark0ne more than I can with the person that should have known better than to upload something that didn't belong to him and claim credit for it. It doesn't matter who is at fault for the banned person not learning to repsect the property of others, the fact is there was disrespect involved and then a threat to this fine family of websites.
