Well I figured it out. I disabled all my mods and one by one enabled them until I found the culprit. Turned out it was the dragonfly bbp animation, which is weird because I have never had that issue before with this mod. I'ved used it on LE and SE both and I never had that issue until now. I've always used this mod so i don't know if there was some conflict with this mod and something else but I haven't changed anything up. This all started when I reinstalled all my mods using Vortex.

Just curious, did you ever get bodyslide to apply to your character? Because after switching to Vortex I've been having the same issue.

Well I'm not using a custom race mod, and as far as unique player mods, I'm pretty sure I'm not using any of those. Unless any of the animation mods I'm using are player unique. I'll try and post a mod list if I can figure out an easy way to get a list without having to type it all out. **after checking my mods I noticed I have a custom dwarf race mod but I didn't install that until after I've been having these bodyslide problems.

So after a little bit of playing i realized that, hey, all the damn NPCs are running around with physics enabled bodies using the bodyslide preset i made! Why in the hell is bodyslide and physics applying to the NPC's but not my character!!? This is so frustrating. I think I'm going to have to do a comeplete uninstall and reinstall of all the mods and completely delete Skyrim from my pc and do a whole new reinstall.

Unfortunately I have tried this to no avail. It didn't change anything. I just don't get it, I've never ever had any issues with getting bodyslide tow work before. Not sure why I'm having it now.

Yep I'm running it from the bodyslide folder and not the vortex folder. I even tried holding shift and clicking build so that I can manually copy the bodyslide file to the character assets folder to overwrite. Nope I'm not using any race mods or unique player mods. I did have JOP installed but when I did a complete uninstall of all my mods and reinstall of the game I never reinstalled it, though for some reason its still acting like its installed.

So I recenlty uninstalled all my mods and reinstalled SE altogether so I could switch over to Vortex....lots of hassle and I still don't think all the mods were properly removed because joy of perspective is still installed even though I don't have the mod downloaded, and its all broken as hell. Anyways, I'm using CBBE and when I build a body in bodyslide it does not change the in game body at all. The armors dont change either after batch building them. The ingame morphs seem to work as they let me change most of the sliders ingame but that doesn't help much. I've never ever had problems with bodyslide before until now. Any idea why bodyslide wouldn't be changing the body? I know for a fact that it is putting the correct files in the correct folders but it doesn't seem to matter at all. driving me f*#@ing mad!! on a side not does anyone know of any good bodyslide presets for cbbe that make the body look more like UUNP or UNPB? I love the unp body but i can't justify switching all my armor and clothing mods to unp at this point.

So I've essentially given up on trying to get NMM to work. Still will not open at all. So I'm going to have to redownload all my mods via Vortex. I was going to wait until official release but it looks like either vortex broke NMM or maybe they just quit supporting NMM altogether and it refuses to work. Who knows. Either way, redownloading all these mods will be tedious, but hopefully vortex is as easy to use as NMM was and hopefully a big step up from NMM. I know Gopher supports it so it must not be that bad.

After all the continuous problems I have had with the most recent updates to skyrim and fallout 4, mods not wokring after update, bodyslide not applying the bodyslide to the character just flattening everything, fallout 4 no longer displaying in proper 1080, and now all of a sudden NMM refuses to open. I click on it, wheel spins like its trying to open, then nothing. Doesn't even show up in task manager. I have tried everything I know to do to be able to open NMM but nothing works. Are they trying to faze out NMM to push people to use Vortex? If I can't get NMM to work I guess I will be forced to use Vortex then.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem but with the newest update to skyrim and fallout, all my saves became corrupted. So i restarted on skyrim and of course i had to update skyui and racemenu, skse, and other mods that require skse, which you always have to do when the game is updated. but this time after doing the updates, almost none the mods I was using worked. I had to uninstall and reinstall all 200. Has anyone else had this happen to them on this newest patch to Skyrim SE? Hell, Fallout 4 still doesn't play right, I can't get it to play in full 1080. Even after changing all of the settings and ini files, launching the game it still launches in 720, and its obvious because of the way the menus and pip boy are oversized. and If i run it in borderless windowed mode, it runs in a window in the top left of my screen, proving that its still in 720, because if it was in 1080 it would fill the screen. wtf.

So after the recent update I ran into a problem when I load the game it is not starting in my set resolution size. I have it set to 1920x1080, but when the game launches it is very obviously not 1080, probably closer to 720 or even lower as everything has jagged edges and pixelated, the menus are larger then they should be and first person view the guns are take up most the screen. Also when I tried running in borderless, windowed mode which is what I usually play in, the game plays in a small window in the top left corner of the screen which proves that none of the resolution changes I have made are being applied. I have tried changing the resolution in the game launcher and launching the game that way and still hasn't worked. I'm at a loss here. I have gone in to both fallout4prefs.ini files and changed the screen resolutions in there. I have tried deleting the .ini files to let the game create a new one and still didn't work. I also use beth.ini to help some ini tweaks to make the game run smoother but I haven't used it since this problem.

I would love to see more armors from Elder Scrolls Online. I know Newermind43 has done some amazing ones that are some of the best armor mods I've seen. But there are so many more to be had. There dozens of armors and clothing choices in ESO that I would like to see for Skyrim. Some faction only armors like Daggerfall or Aldmeri or the Ebonhart Pact. Even race specific motifs like the Khajit armor style, or my favorite the Xyvin style armor. If you haven't played the game I highly recommend it. If you love the lore of the Elder Scrolls, and you like MMO's then you seriously would love ESO. this might be more possible, eschewing the form of the preceding hypothetical. I mean "bugs" like the RadRoach and the Novelty-Ant etc are staples of FORPG, so it makes sense some bugs might've been near FEV. Insectoid New NPCs / New Enemies would be interesting. I am sure there'd be some Sentient Insectoids, if there's Zeta Reticulans etc. I recommend checking out "Maxwell's World" and BlahblahDEEblahblah's "Sketch-figures" for some ideas on how you can start on that. you could even go for that "Claymation-baddie" look if you wanted for that insect-y adversary. or they could be 'holographic/2D-decal" 'insects' etc. like that oil-slick diffraction for the carapace. The real questions are ; do you want an Insectoid "companion" ? do you want a 'behemoth-class insectoid adversary?" I mean I'd like to just keep it simple. just add a new class of monster running around the CW that I can battle. I actually kind of had a story that could play out in my head that would make an great mod. Maybe they landed here chasing after the Zetans and attempted to colonize the planet like they do in the movie. Maybe even make a dungeon that you have to go in to in order to stop them. I have the ideas, just not the skills at the moment to implement them. I was going to buy one of those 3d models online and then try to add to fallout 4 that way and just build from there. I know I would have to learn to rig the model and add animations or find someone who can. But I think Fallout 4 completely is lacking in diverse creature mods. Well after some searching I did find some Models that I can load into blender That have textures. That's a start.

Finally fixed it. Not sure how really. I did a bunch of things to attempt to fix it and it finally just worked.

So after the most recent update, i knew that I would need to update some of the mods as well, which i did, including F4SE, MCM, looksmenu, all the normal stuff. well now when i load the game and load up a save, the screen is normal for about 3 seconds, then it flashes multiple colors and then white and stays that way. The only thing i can see is my hands and my gun. I can zoom in and when I do i zoom in all the way to the nearest wall and all i see are wall textures. I've also for some reason have unlimited ammo. Its hard to describe, I will try and get some pics uploaded so you can see what im talking about. I already uninstalled my ENB and my reshade presets to make sure that was not the issue. The issue persisted. I also tried the "white/blurry screen" fix by turning off wetness in the settings, and it still did not work. I've updated reshade because there was a recent update that I can only imagine was due to the new Fallout update. and this is the first time an update has done this. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been absolutely salvating at the idea of arachnids from starship troopers being in this game. I saw there was one for FO3. I would be willing to donate to whomever could create this. Or even help me create my own

A while back I saw a mod featured on youtube that changed the sounds when you walk to sound more like you were carrying a lot of gear, like clinking and rustling of a backpack and even changed the footsteps sound. I have just spent the last 3 hours trying to locate that mod or any mod that does just that but I can't seem to find anything. So any help would be really appreciated. I've also been trying to find a way to extract the sound audio from the game The Division so i can take the equipment sound effects from that game and make a mod but I can't seem to find out how to extract the files from the game files. Any ideas?

so I'm trying to open my female body nif in Nifskope, and it just keeps giving me errors saying it could not read the Nif. I'm using CBBE with demoniac textures. Does anyone know why Nifskope isn't opening it?

So I have been getting crashes that started recently. The first one was when i was doing the mehrunes razor quest and Mehrunes summons the deadra and i get an instant crash. Not even a CTD, the game freezes and then a windows alert saying the game is not responding. I decided to skip it and go on to Winterhold college. I get there and try to talk to the lady to start the tour of the college and boom freeze and crash. After some research nothing seemed to work. So i did some sorting of mods in load order and decided to start a new game. well now i get a crash anytime i try to start any of the major quests. I did the first quest for the companions, then i go to retrieve the first piece of wuuthrad at dustmans cairn and if i get even close bam, freeze crash. I'm going to uninstall all of the mods I have and reinstall them a few at a time and wait keep going till i get the crash again to try and narrow it down but i have 165 mods mostly armor mods and some graphics mods. any one have a similar issue?

So I'm looking to make a mod that replaces some of the sounds in Fallout 4 with the sounds from the Division. Well after looking through the files of the division I realized I have no Idea where the files are located. I know they would need to be extracted but i'm not sure how to do that. Ive done lots of research and I still can't find anything that helps. Does anyone know where and how i can extract the sound files? I'm looking specifically for the walking sounds, the equipment clinking sound, and the ISAC sounds to replace pipboy sounds.

yes i updated the drivers and restarted the computer. then tried the game again and still nothing. I tried deleting the ini files too because i saw it mentioned in a forum that deleting the ini files would force the game to make new ini files and it might launch but nope.
