  1. No request for a jetpack? Without having to put on power armor, that is. It would be so much fun to fly around Boston in underpants! Just a permanent jetpack option with double space.
  2. I mentioned that too - Potions can only be consumed before battle; if this isn't possible, increase potion effect and increase toxicity to decoction levels -less chugging during combat.Just don't know if it is as easily doable as the others, so mentioned it in the second half. Changing game mechanics is going to be harder than adjusting numbers. Also, they don't always consume potions - Witchers have fought humans with no potions imbibed whatsoever and decimated them.
  3. On the nexus, the only modifications I find are ones that seriously trim Geralt's power in the name of making the game harder. This makes fights last longer, making them rather boring and takes the enjoyment out of the experience for me. I understand some people like it that way, but I'd like an alternative for those of us who prefer faster combat with higher stakes. I tried to mod the files myself, but got lost in the xml files and can barely understand anything. So if someone is willing to help, I'd love to see these changes: Monsters: All regular monsters' damage increased by 3x (Nekkers, Drowners, Endreaga etc)All contracted monsters' damage increased by 5x (Griffin, Leshen, Forktail etc) Geralt: Base Vitality Halved, no vitality gains on level up (i.e. only from Mutagens)Base Damage increased 2xFast Attack Critical Chance increased 2xHeavy Attack Armor Pen increased 2xHuman Enemies: Vitality reduced to a 1/4x VanillaStamina reduced to 1/4x VanillaDamage increased 3x VanillaShield only costs 1/4x of regular stamina drain on block (Not sure if this is possible - if not, let Shield Bearer's stamina stay at Vanilla values) These changes, I hope, aren't too difficult to implement. There is another list of changes, and idk if these are even possible. However, I will list them just in case: "Frenzy" skill from alchemy tree slows down time when your targeted enemy is about to attack you, not when you're about to be counterattacked."Active Shield" skill from signs tree no longer restores Vitality; has a 360 degree Aard effect when you run out of stamina instead.Potions can only be consumed before battle; if this isn't possible, increase potion effect and increase toxicity to decoction levels -less chugging during combat.Oils last longer (1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours respectively).Rolling/Parrying/Dodging an attack slows down time (perhaps the Frenzy skill?)Axii stun can't be cast consecutively on the same monster (casting Axii has dimnishing results or Axii can't be cast on the same monster again for x seconds)Increased Yrden slow (starts at 50%, maxes out at 99%)Make it possible to block/parry humaniod monsters (Wraiths, Nekkers, Rotfiends etc)If anyone is interested, here's my reasoning for all of this: "Geralt, and other Witchers fight (and defeat) monsters like Cocatrices, Basilisks, Wyverns, Arachasae on a regular basis - monsters that can decimate an entire patrol with relative ease and can even destroy entire garrisons sometimes. It makes no sense that a soldier/peasant/thug/bandit can even see Geralt's sword flying around, least of all block and parry it, that too consecutively. Perhaps once, twice - maybe even thrice if they're extremely skilled (or very lucky). But Geralt and his like are too far beyond human parameters to ever be soundly matched in combat - even armored shield bearers don't last long. The only times they lose are when they're careless - like Geralt getting pictchforked by a kid. Defensively, they are more resistant to pain than others, but a few sword slices can still make quick work of them. The reason this doesn't happen often is because they're so fast that they can avoid/parry almost all attacks directed towards them (be it human or monster), but if they drop their guard, they die quickly too. Except for this, they're extremely resistant to poisons and use a variety of bombs, which makes them better killing machines. They aren't rock trolls that can stand and take punishment - they're lightning fast, and have a lot of strength, which makes them deadly." i.e. Humans should be a cakewalk unless they're in numbers (since every attack shaves off half of Geralt's health) or heavily armored. Witchers' USP is hitting fast and hard, while dodging attacks - not tanking them. Monsters should be much deadlier (since they can kill squads of trained normal humans with relative ease). This is all to make the combat more lore friendly while increasing the challenge and thrill of playing the game. I've noticed a trend of trimming Geralt's fangs to make this game harder, which is an approach that doesn't sit well with me. Why not sharpen his enemies' fangs instead? If you have any suggestions/ideas, like/dislike the concept or wish to modify any of it in any aspect, please do contribute to the thread!
