  1. Basically I want the assasin's creed combat in skyrim but I know a lot of people would totally reject that idea. It's really cinematic and would make you feel really powerful. Also dismemberment!
  2. I bought fallout new Vegas there just to pass the time for skyrim. Anyone's opinion on fallout 3 or new Vegas and how they feel playing compared to TES?
  3. Haha I can't agree more! I used to love that feeling of fear you could feel when I was really young watching films and this scene came the closest to that feeling I've probably ever felt in a movie. If a movie can bring you back to that feeling, you know it's a good movie:L
  4. Well armour mods are always tempting. Especially if there is a lack of sinister dark clothing and armour. But I know on my second play through I will definitely be putting in a big playlist of my favourite game music and songs that fit. I've began creating the playlist a few days ago, I love all the assassin's creed music so that will be going in. Also I know I'll get an uncapper mod so that if I spend lots of time on my character I can get all the perks etc:)
  5. Seriously that part in the road is the only part in a movie that gets my heart racing and sends shivers down my spine. I love that movie! Even watching it the second time that part gave me the same feeling! Anyways, this isn't an event I hope to find in skyrim but I'd like to see much more evil character clothing ( black robes\ armour etc), so killing evil bandits or otherwise will feel more rewarding to don their sinister clothing.
  6. Ok this is good I'm happy I didn't deter your enthusiasm for this.:) I would absolutely love to see this up. And I love to help out but I'm finishing school at the moment and don't know if I'll be taking computer science in college. I'm guessing this will take a few years so you might see me in a year or two;) I might talk to the MERP team and see what their plans are for their project when skyrim comes out. MERP have done a huge amount of work so far so if you joined with them middle earth could come quicker:)
  7. Demon's Souls, great game:D infact demon's souls had the dual weild kinda thing like skyrim will have
  8. Don't want to put this down or anything because this would be a great mod but have you done research on this? If you want to take on a project like this you should get in contact with the MERP Team. They have already spent years (I think) creating the LOTR world on the oblivion engine. But I have no idea if they plan to convert it onto the skyrim engine...which will have loads of problems itself. But aswel there was a fatal flaw when trying to create the LOTR world on the Oblivion engine: the engine had a limit cap on how many exterior cells could be made in one world space I.e. You can't fit Tolkien's massive world into the engine. And we don't know the capabilities of the skyrim engine in this regard. If your serious about this I think you should go to the MERP team.
  9. Exactly my kinda hopes:L electricity spell, hands on the sides off their head and fry them until their eyes pop in your face!
  10. Well we know telekinesis is confirmed and a lot of people thought it was useless in oblivion so Bethesda should fix that hopefully. And supreme magicka was such successful mod that I'm sure they won't ignore the ideas it brought to magic.
  11. Source? he also made a topic saying there wont be a jump button so i wouldn't believe what this guy says edit: "just like all the game co. out side Japan" srsly JRPGs hasnt changed from the PS1 days and thats why western RPGs makers now dormant the world of RPGs Hey, don't hate bro, just asking if some rumors are true is all, I never said there would be no jump button. Thats where the question mark at the end of the topic comes in handy, see it makes the words before it a question, not a statement. ;) You didn't use a question mark. If its only a rumour please say so. Why don't inteviewers of Todd Howard ask proper questions like these rather than general ones that we ger the same reply from!?
  12. Cloth physics is a MUST if you want to play a Mage or assassin character! I'll be playing as a hybrid of these two as I usually do and in oblivion there wasn't really clothes to suit my character like that. The robes in oblivion were a bit lame. That's why I'd love if they would do it properly this time.
  13. I like your idea:D I will be making my own back story for my character too. I was even thinking of writing a short story for it. I think I will be a dark elf too, with a strong emphasis on magic.
  14. Yeah I can see the long range things happening. In oblivion some creatures and NPCs went flying into the air when you kill them with a spell. But I'd love to see some close range finishing moves as you've mentioned. Imagine being able to put your hands on someone's face with an electricity spell and fry their brains to finish them off. Or explode their head with a fire spell. And some really unique things could be done if telekinesis becomes an offensive magic.
