Unfortunately as much as it would be good to help you build the 'perfect' set-up....its not the best thing.. You need to read a lot and go through some trial and error. to learn...it sounds like you are already aware of some of the tools and what kind of things you want,so your halfway there. I like to use OBMM http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097 Makes mods easier to install and manage BOSS http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516 For getting a stable load and run order. All the official and unofficial patches as a bare minimum. I cant speak for Wyre Bash.....never used it. Beyond that,its up to you...there are way too many mods to suggest. good luck.

Hi, I have been looking for stuff to enhance the experience of entering/looting/fighting in and closing gates, and the general enviroment.It is one of my favourite parts of this game. So far all i seem to find are mods that either reduce the number of gates or prelong their existance beyond the main quest. So any gems you know and love? Quests,items,appearnce and so on.... Im using MMM, so pretty happy with the various monsters and spawn levels. Also, using AFK Frostag which gives you a gate to open anytime,once you have started the main quest.....located in the storage level, and activated with Daedra hearts (thanks Dwip).

Hi, Cant say its your problem, but had lots of problems with B.C and Let the people drink.....constant CTD's Worked well before i added LTPD....added it, problems. Took it out, back to running ok. Looks like a great mod,shame.

Why not dabble with a Battlemage/spell sword kind of char? least you can fall back on combat skills. I use a custom build with sword/marksmen/destruction/restoration/illusion.....swap any magic skills for purpose,the only problem i find with being relient on magic is the enemy is on top of you before you have sorted your spells out (hence using marksmen or sword). Also, try something that improves hotkeys.....i use one that allows multi casting spells...so you can cast like, 3 spells with one key stroke. So i can cast two destruction spells followed by a soul grasp...or multiple healing spells in battle.Also, better weapon management, bow and arrows equipt at same time and so on. Thanks for this....besides Neeshka, most companion mods seem to have several issues to work around when playing,which is off putting. I will give CSR a go though....im looking for short term male partners (ideally Orcs) for raiding and travelling with my small and slightly built Breton She Mage....and there's a plentiful supply of Orc blade fodder to recruit after all!!! I am suprised at the lack of male partners compared to the staggering array of female ones (i flit between playing males and females). I like your idea though i have no intrest in romance based storylines (just me....recently divorced....go figure!). If you get round to it,let me know and i will play test :) thanks again to all for contributing.

Better Cities needs to be nearer the bottom of your load list maybe? I always have trouble with BOSS and B.C.....if you enter the Market district with it in that load order,do you get the step problem and message? or just CTD. Try disabling B.C, run BOSS and then reload B.C so its right at the bottom......works for me. Dunno if its the problem,just suggesting.
