  1. EDIT: Found the mod. It was entitled "More Dynamic Injuries" but unfortunately the mod has been hidden by the author for reasons I do not know. It's a shame, it was a good mod.
  2. I know there's some mods that add bandages to heal injuries but there was one mod I had a long time ago but I just can not find it nor can I remember the name. The mod added injuries to the game such as broken bones, bruises, bleeding, burns, frostbite, etc. and such injuries could healed by using splints, stitches, bandages (or beer bandages for disinfection), burn salves, and warming salves on their respective injuries. I've only managed to come across one or two injury mods while scouring the nexus site for it but neither are anywhere as complex. So is this mod still around? Did it get transformed into a new mod? Or at the very least is there an injury mod out there as complex as this or close?
  3. This would be a great idea! I endorse!
  4. YES! This was exactly the one I was looking for! Thank you!
  5. I forgot what this mod was called and I had it before I did a full re-install of Skyrim. Basically it completely changes racial abilities and adds new ones too. Like Argonians take less damage from swords because of their scales, Khajiit are faster and take less damage from falls, Wood Elves deal more damage with bows and have a chance to avoid the damage of an enemy's arrow, etc... I tried looking through the Race categories, immersion categories and overhaul categories. Maybe I missed it or maybe its for some reason not around. In any case can someone please tell what mod this was? I've been looking forever today and at the very least I want to know its name!
  6. So earlier today I was playing Skyrim when a dragon comes in to attack. I chase it around and finally get it to notice me but as I'm running around fighting it there's some bandits off in the distance shooting me with arrows. Now I don't know if you've ever done this but you're pretty much out of luck playing on master when you're faced with this. You focus on the dragon, archers take you out or bring you low enough for the dragon to kill you. Focus on the bandits the dragon leaves the ground and chases you with fire/frost breath and kills you. This problem isn't just with archers though. Plenty of bandits run up to me completely ignoring the dragon sitting right in front of them to try to hack and slash me to death. I don't know about you but if I was a bandit I'd focus on killing that almighty dragon then worry about killing someone to rob. Can someone please tweak the AI so when there's a dragon attack the NPCs will focus on the dragon rather than the player? I mean the dragons, at least in my game, are even more of a threat than I am so why aren't people trying to kill it instead of me??
  7. Game worked perfectly fine for me when it updated to 1.5.14.0. Waited for SKSE and Script Dragon to update and then played the game same as before. However, once I closed my game yesterday steam downloaded something very quickly for skyrim and since, my game CTDs every time I launch the game.
  8. Skyrim shall never be complete without that. I always cheated while playing oblivion to experience everything because I hated the level system and it was too slow for me but when I had that mod I never cheated. Same is going for skyrim. I have a maxed out character with all the perks and skills but once Skyrim XP is out it's goodbye cheats!
  9. NO ONE is left-handed in Skyrim. I was extremely disappointed because when I originally heard Bethesda say they would allow you to equip stuff in BOTH hands and control each hand SEPARATELY I thought that another game had emerged where one could choose to play as a left-handed character rather than default to right. As it turns out no you can not. Shields only equip to your left and any attacks with onehanded happens using the left hand only get one swing animation and no where near as fluid as swinging the right. I know nothing of modding but I'd like to assume this could be done with the new CK and the fact that you are already able to use the left hand individually and can at least equip things to it. It'd be great if this could be implemented to some NPCs so not EVERYONE is right handed and the Player being the only one that's a lefty.
  10. Glad to see some other people remember the mod and would like to have it. Now I just hope it catches a modder's eye.
  11. I swear I asked about this mod before the CK ever came out but I can't find my thread about it so I thought I'd ask again since now the creation kit is out. Back with Oblivion someone made the mod "Oblivion XP" [ http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15619 ] and I absolutely loved it compared to the default leveling system. For those who don't know the mod changed it so you no longer increase your skills to level up your character. Instead you gain EXP from stuff you do in the game such as killing someone/something, picking a lock, or completing quests. Then when you level up you received a certain amount of points to spend on attributes and skills so it worked pretty much like any standard RPG. If I'm not mistaken the original creator left the project and someone else took it up and uploaded "Oblivion XP Update" that fixed some problems so I don't know if the original creator will make it again. It was very customizable by letting you alter how much EXP certain tasks give you and the EXP curve in general and altering how many skill or attribute points you get to spend per level and max level you can reach. Of course this time around it will need to give points for attributes, skills, and perks. I would be very thankful if someone can create this mod for Skyrim.
  12. That's how the game works. The farther away you are, the less detail there is on objects. It was designed like that so when you're playing the game your computer isn't trying to load all these high quality textures and stuff constantly which would put a heavy demand on your PC causing you to lag.
  13. I'm using the Weapons of Third Era mod that adds it's weapons to the crafting list and Tytanis - The Ultimate Mod - Crafts - Spells - Items - MORE.
  14. My smithing perk tree is completely filled out so I have all of them including the Arcane Enchanter perk. The required materials was just 1 leather and I have 5 them yet every time I try to upgrade it I'm being told I'm missing the perk even though I'm not.
  15. I have my smithing at 100 and have all the perks in the perk tree but every time I try to upgrade my Shrouded armor (Dark Brotherhood armor) the game tells me I'm lacking the required perk to upgrade enchanted gear. >:(
