  1. As my computer is on repair (has been for several weeks now) I will start on a new mod. I have always loved sci-fi, especially cyberpunk. So why not create it or atleast something that resembles it. Fallout has a bit cyberpunk in it already; androids, virtual reality etc. So I will create a new worldspace which will take the form of a city (in the beginning some streets). You will get their by a virtual pod (seen in OA) and wake up in gaming centrum. The people of Cyberia think the Wasteland is just another game. Cyberia will have neon signs, bazaars, shady alleys, colorfull people, nightclubs and corporations (maybe Vault-Tec/Commonweath or integrate my Umbrella mod in this). I realize this is a large project so I will mod it when I have the time. This mod is foremost for me as I want a player home in a more "civilized" neighborhood. But if the interest is big I may expand it and then I will need a team.   2. This outfit would fit nicely to a Necronomicon story (written by Lovecraft). Scary outfit, scary tales. Maybe a closed observatorium where a mad scientist is conducting sick and bizarre experiments on kidnapped wastelanders. The barriers between reality and dream is thinning and soon you are trapped inside your own madness. Or some crazy priest that believes he has been sent by God to cleanse the sickness aka Ghouls. Just some thoughts. Keep up the good work.

  4. Need some help understanding Umbrella. They have two different units, I will use three. First we have the UBCS (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Unit) which Oliviera and his team belongs to. This is what the wiki says about UBCS: "The Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) is a special forces unit owned by the Umbrella Corporation, specializing in rescue operations during biohazard outbreaks. It was founded by former Soviet Colonel Sergei Vladimir. Numerous squads of UBCS soldiers are deployed to Raccoon City, supposedly to search for survivors and to help contain the zombie epidemic. In fact, they were deployed so that Umbrella could gain reliable combat data regarding their biological weapons—a fact known only to their supervisors. Although the U.B.C.S. has been very successful in every operation but one, the unit suffers a high mortality rate due to the hazardous nature of their missions. Thus, the U.B.C.S. is comprised almost exclusively of convicted war criminals and mercenaries from around the world who joined the U.B.C.S. as an alternative to capital punishment for any crimes they may have been caught committing. The unit consists of about 120 operatives, divided between four platoons (with two or three squads per platoon)." Then we have the USS (Umbrella Security Service) which is the guys with kevlar armor and black helmets in Apocalypse. This is what the wiki says: "The U.S.S. (Umbrella Special Service) also known as the U.S.F.U (Umbrella Special Forces Unit) was an Umbrella special forces unit. They played a similar role as the UBCS. However, the U.S.S. were specially taught mercenaries with experience in infiltration while UBCS were just criminals released to fight for Umbrella. In Resident Evil 2, Alpha Team attempted to steal a sample of the G-Virus, causing the city-wide outbreak in the game. Delta Team appeared in the prequel Resident Evil Zero. Delta Team was sent in to blow up the Ecliptic Express after the trouble occurred, but was overwhelmed by the leeches and wiped out.They were under the direct command of Wesker and Birkin. The U.S.S report directly to the highest ranking officers in Umbrella. Unlike the UBCS, which performs more visible missions such as rescuing civilians, this unit maintains total secrecy and a small size. The U.S.S are trained at Rockfort Island. Members of the USFU are ex-military, highly trained, and dedicated to protecting Umbrella's various assets." So UBCS will use beige pants, a green shirt, a black kevlar vest with the Umbrella sign on the back. The USS will use a black jumpsuit with kevlar armor and a black riot helmet. The USS will also act as the suit guys in Apocalypse. I will also create a special branch for USFU, different than USS so it will go against the lore abit. USFU will wear a black jumpsuit with kevlar, gasmask and helmet. What do you think? And one question. What team does the response squad in the first movie belong too. Many says UBCS but they doesnt seem to be the ordinary mercenary. So does they belong to USFU.
  5. I have also started with a Resident Evil mod. I have started out with the UBCS armor, USS Armor and the Spencer Mansion from the first movie. I tried to retexture a Behemoth so it could become Nemesis but didnt understand Nifskope. Have plans to create the Hive and etc. I think the Pitt skin would work best for zombies. Then add a script that cripple their legs so they act like zombies. Would be nice if one could also add the Feral Ghoul attack to the zombies. The Trogs can with a bit retexture and resizing become a Licker, the same goes with Cerberus. After retaking the Hive the villa could be used as a player home, guarded by Umbrella or something.   6. Maybe we should put our head together. Im doing a Hive mod (you know, the Hive from Resident Evil). Right now Im retexturing the Tenpenny Tiles so they look like Spencer Mansion in the Resident Evil movie.
  7. Does anyone know how to change the map on the Pleximap that can be found in the Citadel. When I change DDS it just change the surrounding metal structure but the map never change. Do I have to change the NIF. file?

As this mod has got some interest and people want it to become much more than my initial plan I am now seeking...help, well not the PANIC-button-help but a crew that can make textures, meshes, dialog and quests. I can do textures and I am getting better at it every day, Im also learning the advanced functions in GECK. With a one man crew this may take a while. Anyone that can contribute for the ConFederation.

  14. I dont know how to create new meshes either, only just started with textures. The ship will be built by the Vault tiles, altough retextured. Some parts may use the Enclave tiles. To get to that ship I may create some sort of transporter beam from the stasis field, or a portal. To be able to see space from the window I think I will use the big Enclave poster, retexure it to show stars instead and place several of these outside the window.   15. The first version of the retextured Stealth Suit - Now called ConFed Nanosuit. On the back is the Tac-Nuke Launcher which will be retextured aswell. The goal was the create a slim armor that is a mix between the suits found in Crysis and TimeShift. I'm thinking of creating a base that looks like all other bases with one tiny difference; when you look out thru the window you see Earth, or space, depending on which side of the spaceship/spacestation you look out of. Well, why not. When the great war takes place they ought to have some space installations. And humans have lived up there until now (they finally got the space shuttle to work after 200 years of rebuilding or something like that.) I will in the beginning use retextured clothing and armors for the inhabitants which will have a design that is a mix between Star Trek, Mass Effect and Battlestar Galactica. This faction will be called Terran Superior/Confederation/Coaliton well something. The ship/station will have a CIC/Bridge where they will make tactical decisions, a shuttlebay/transporterbeam room etc etc. I would also like to implement the new Stealth Suit, but change it to a Nano Suit with great powers. Also cybernetics/genetics would be nice. Maybe all this technology was being research on this installation, far from spying eyes when the war came. When we actually have a ship I might implement the crashed Aliens cousins. After all, no one can here you scream in space.
