Darn, you got me excited for no reason That's the same Safe SSEX that was last updated back in November. The rate at which the FO4 modding community is expanding almost 3 months is actually kind of long ago.

Sorry if this is a silly question but what mod is ValdacilBugFixes.esm from. I've looked around but can't find any mod it may be attached to and was wondering if I should use it. I gave up on simple bug fixes because it hadn't been maintained in a while and have been looking for a suitable replacement since.

STANDALONE VANILLA ARMORS WITH CBBE BODY SLIDE COMPATIBILITY
rcd1976 replied to rcd1976's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Thanks, but that mod is also a replacer. It's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a standalone mod with it's own esp. That mod will turn every women in game into a bodybuilder unless a mod like body framework or unique player is used in unison with it and even then it won't cover the outfits. it has 3 vanilla out fits converted for that body and they're also replacers. I checked the folder structure to be sure. -
I've only just started getting the hang of body slide and am delighted at how easy it is. I've been able to take some standalone armor mods and use body slide to tailor fit them to the body mod I'm using right now [post=http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7604/?]Athletic Girl - Enhanced Body Outfit Meshes[/post]. I am aware that there are already some vanilla armor replacers for CBBE, but I'm using body framework so as to make my characters body unique to everyone else and as most people know armor replacers change every armor in the game, which in my case means everybody would be wearing the same body shape as my character. With a standalone vanilla armor replacer, that covers all or as many of the vanilla armor and clothing sets as possible with body slide and it's own esp then I could alter just those armors to fit my character. I'd prefer if all the armors and clothing were on one esp but if they were released one or a few at a time, I'd really like to see the Road Leathers first I'd do it myself but as best as I can tell it requires nifscope experience which is a little out of my depth at this point, so if a mod author could pick this up it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody think for certain that there will be no or little character customization in FO4? The trailer didn't give good views of the the parents faces so I'm thinking ( and hoping) that the FO4 character creation will be just as in depth, if not more so than the previous 2 Fallouts. If anybody noticed the haircut the test character had at the end of the trailer, it looked an awful lot like the buzzcut from FO3 and FNV. I know it's a long shot but hopefully that means Bethesda is using some of the same character creation assets from the other 2 previous games. I know some people figured the voiced protagonist at the end was the trailer was the final nail in the coffin of character customization , but look at how many games out there these days allow multiple choices for the protagonists voice as well as ways to customize those voices further with sliders. I'm going to try not to assume anything until I see game play footage but in the interests of seeing Fallout 4 stay a Fallout game, I hope character customization is still included. I don't know if I'm sold on the whole "father as the protagonist", just yet. It seems slightly more limiting to have the father ( or mother as the leaked script eluded) as opposed having the baby in the crib as the protagonist and it kind of makes sense if you gauge the dogs reaction when it sniffed the mobile in the crib however many years later that was. In the trailer the parents never reacted to the dog because at that time the dog wasn't there. He picked up remnants of his master scent on the mobile, it was the familiar scent of his master that drew him to the house in the first place. So In my speculation, I think the dog belongs to the child all grown up, probably acquired some 20 or 30 years after the bombs dropped ( which is how long it took for the surface to be inhabitable again by anything other than ghouls or super mutants, just read the fallout time line from 2077 to 2109 and you'll see what I mean). That being said if Fallout 4 predates the first Fallout then this very well could be a prequel. Again this is all speculation, but I hope I'm right.

In response to post #12536470. They're just talking about modding the UI, which has been around in MMO's since WoW and probably before that. It can't really be classified as cheating.

Nexus Mods centralisation complete, we now support mods for all games
rcd1976 replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I've been having the mod manager issue too, however it seems to be getting better. This morning MO would just plain fail to access the Nexus. A few hours later and it'd starting to download mods it just can't finish the download. I tried NMM just to be sure it wasn't an MO issue and the same thing happened. -

Possible Workarounds For Savegame Corruption
rcd1976 replied to rcd1976's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Annd for some reason an entire paragraph got truncated. I'll try and fix this later when I have time. Edit: fixed -
I know there's countless people out there who've been plagued with the infinite loading screen or insta crash when trying to load a save game. I know for myself this usually occurs after rearanging my load order, either by trying to optimize my load order or by removal and once in a while adding of plugins. Many a time I've abandoned savegames that I've had weeks and even sometimes months invested in and after about 8 months of playing Skyrim I started using some old tips that have been around for a while now, that while I'm sure won't solve everybodies savegame corruption issues, they've certainly helped with mine. Now if people know what I'm talking about read no further because I'm sure this is old information, this information is for the people new to playing modded Skyrim. The first tip, which I've used the most is for when your game won't load at the title screen, either hanging at the infinite load screen or crashing back to desktop. Create a new save game ( or DL one from the nexus, there's tons here) and just leave that character somewhere safe and early in the game and don't do anything with them. The sole purpose of this save game is to load your main save from in the event that it won't load. If your main game won't load simply load the "piggyback" save as I like to call it, then once it's loaded, load your main game from inside the "piggyback save" I have yet to see this not work ( unless I had a moment and forgot to tick a master in my mod manager or something silly like that). I have no doubt that there are probably save games so corrupted out there that this won't work, but I have yet to have such a corrupted save myself. I would strongly recommend that you keep copies of this piggyback save backed up somewhere ( in case you manage to corrupt it) and it be as close to vanilla possible ( because adding mods isn't usually a problem, but removing them say for another play through can be.) For those of you who don't know save games are copy and pasted to your C;\Users\(Username)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Saves\Saves ( and if you didn't know that welcome to Skyrim). The second tip is for when you get successive CTD's one after the other usually when trying to move to a different area in the game. I've noticed it will usually occur roughly in the same area each time. This tip is straight off of the STEP wiki. First you'll need No Boring Sleep-Wait Menu ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12625//? ). Then I'd recommend a player home that is set away from the Skyrim world space , I use Dwemer Jar ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37597//?)< STEP says you can use coc qasmoke for this purpose though. What you do is move your character to the player home ( or qasmoke) and save. Then if you are using a primary needs mod, turn it off for the time being ( or your character will die of thirst). Once you've done that you wait or sleep for 31 days. This can take a while so this is a good time to go get a drink or go to the bathroom. Once the 31 days are up, save and reload ( just to be safe) then save again and go about playing your game again. My best guess is this works by giving those left over scripts embedded in the save game are given a chance to run there course i remember watching one of Sharlikrans TES5Edit tutorials where he said that in a lot of cases this doesn't work, and I consider him one of the more prominent mod gurus on the nexus so I tend to take what he says as gospel. However I've used this twice and it worked for me so if faced with having to scrap a save game you've invested hundreds of hours in, why not try it, you've got nothing to lose at that point.. There are also a couple of utilities that are supposed to remove embedded scripts from your save game as well. One is an SKSE plugin called Rogue Script Remover ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35556/? ) . I recommend this one because if you understand what an SKSE plugin is it's a no-brainer to install. The other one is called How to REMOVE ALL embedded scripts from your save game - Tutorial (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31675/?). I've never used it myself but it has a significant amount of endorsements so it's probably decent. In closing, don't forget the basics like backing up your savegames anytime you're going to make changes to your load order, follow mod installation/upgrade instructions, and try not to remove mods in mid playthrough. There's plenty of info going around about Skyrim save game corruption and as the saying goes an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Given that you can't REALLY take Maven out without game breaking consequences, why not use her for entertainment purposes. I'm pretty sure there's a mod that lets you pit NPC's against each other. Why not a 3 way death match between Maven, Nazeem, and Braith ( my money is on Braith). On a side note, is Mavens daughter marriageable because, because she's pretty hot ( body mod depending)? I've often thought of marrying Mavens Daughter and freeloading in the lap of luxury in Riften, whenever I was there.

Crash after chosing perks
rcd1976 replied to Anunnak's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I'm having the exact same problem. I've noticed too that it can bake into the save game to so it will crash in the same manner every time I load the save game. I suspected 2 perks per level, but now this just about confirm it for me. -
I was watching one of Alchestbreach's videos where he reviewed the Los Illumanados mode by Thepiritofnewreno, and Al had some kind of mod which allowed him to grab NPC's when they were alive and pull them through solid objects to get them unstuck. There was even a vaultboy giving the thumb up icon followed by an "NPC unstuck" message. What mod is that I've got to have it?

I'm looking for a weapon mod for FNV. it was in development when I first saw it a few months ago. It was a working model of the particle Magnum energy pistol Ronon Dex ( Jason Momoa's character) used in Stargate Atlantis. It had the same sound effects and even a what looked to be custom reloading animation.

The radar HUD mod by Invalidfate was probably one of the coolest HUD addons for FONV but unfortunately it was created well before The Mod Configuration Menu and was never made MCM compatible. Another problem is it seems to not be installable by NVMM. I would like to request that Radar HUD be updated compatible with both NVMM and MCM. I would ask Invalidfate but he appears to be busy with Skyrim mods so I'm hoping a mod author will read this, get the required permissions and breath life back into Radar HUD.

Up until today I was using the 4gb nvse loader and the full screen windowed mod and it was working beautifully. Now any time I try to load FONV with either or both of these mods I get a window that tells me," FalloutNV 4gb No Disk There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive\device\Harddisk\DR1 Trying to load FONV with just one of these mods yields the same result. Oddly enough if I use the standard FONV exe it loads fine, but with out the full benefit of the full screen windowed mode, I have the two mods loaded as specified in Gophers tutorials so I'm pretty sure they're installed properly. Up until today FONV ran fine without the disk. The only thing that I can think of is I DL'd Fallout 1 and 2 from Steam today and tried to run them in compatibility mode. I've since taken Steam off of compatibility mode but the problem persists. All my other games work fine so does anyone know what could cause this?

It never ceases to amaze me how many people here openly admit to piracy on these forums. i'm pretty sure at times I've seen as many as five people in a day get banned from here for piracy and they always admit to it. This might sound a little harsh but I think if the moderators wanted to make the anti-piracy rules a little clearer ( as if they weren't already) there ought to be a board where the names of all the accounts banned for piracy go, a wall of shame of sorts. But back to the topic. My guess is the people who are camped out in front of their keyboards waiting for the stroke of midnight, the morning of the release of Skyrim to come out on direct to drive will be the first to be legitimately playing Skyrim first. I'd be one of them but I pre-ordered my copy this summer.

This is my load order can anybody help me figure out why this is happening? I've already tried a merged patch. When it didn't work I put everything back to how it is now. Oddly enough my Pipboy readius is working fine. Just Project Nevada is the only mod I've noticed not working at the moment for me ( mind you I was anticipating this when I heard about the new patch so I'm playing Oblivion for now). I've been to Silverlock.org and it looks like the site is being worked on so hopefully the new NVSE should be out soon.
