âI have found when attempting to load a saved game that continues to crash to desk top, its best instead to load first a saved game from a small cell, example,...one with no other npc in it but you, and the smaller room or cell the better, seams to put less stress on graphics cards and most importantly allows time to start all those mods you might have gathered,,i have over 150 mods with mod manager.....the cell I load into is the one where you are sent to retrieve the golden claw stolen from the shop in Riverwood for Camilas brother..Luken .right at the very end of that quest in the barrow you go up the stairs to exit and you step into a cave tunnel leading out , you turn a handle and find your in a very small cell or cave , with a scull and a chest..this is the save point I load into first,..after it starts, 10 seconds or so and all my mods start and load, I then load the game I'm up to. works a treat every time. no crashes.
