  1. Anyone know what happened to the STALKER creatures mod? It's not illegal because THQ publicly released them all. I've been trying to get a hold of that mod for ages now.
  2. Looks like FEAR armour again. May be wrong.
  3. I have the same problem, but nobody has really understood before. If I have a model made from scratch, no textures. How do I get it to work in NV? Would I need to give the model a BSShader branch? I don't know how. I tryed copying a shadebranch from another mod onto mine and it still came up with that exclamation mark. Model details. 123 kb. Exported with default exporting options. 3DS format. So.... yeah. This will hopefully be my last troubleshooting question. Thanks....
  4. But, doesn't look like this request was answered either. Is it unknown or something? That is the F.E.A.R 2 Armor port.
  5. I'll try both your ideas. And I exported to obj via anim8or, then imported to 3DS to check if the model looked good (anim8or render is kinda boring). Then load the obj directly into Nifscope. Thanks EDIT: Polygon crusher seems the most useful, I really would like it but its only compatible with 3DS 2011 - down. I'm using 2012, which no plugins are compatible with --_--
  6. Thanks for the reply. And yes, it has 20 000 verts. I will separate the mesh, also, since I am new to modeling, can you get the verts count down by 'pressing a random button on 3DS'. I've been using anim8or, and that doesn't have many options, but I still think its better. Also, how do you position the mutilated skull mesh onto the stick mesh in Niffy?
  7. I made the model in anim8or, then triangulated it in 3DS. The model has no uv map. Made with 2009 vertices. It takes 1 minute to load in nif scope. It's file size is 8 mg. I used default obj export options. The same as I always do. I've got many of my models working in nifscope, its just this one. Anyway I'll try the backward faces option you said. EDIT: I just tried that, but all it did was make the back visible again, make it still looks the same. wtf...
  8. I'm having trouble importing an obj. In 3DS it looks fine, just how I made it. But in Nifscope it is all mucked up and half the head is missing. What have I done wrong? 3DS Render hoas.jpg:http://www.imageupload.org/thumb/thumb_63069.jpg Nifscope Render hoasfail.JPG:http://www.imageupload.org/thumb/thumb_63070.jpg
  9. -_-. Well, why would it be graphics when all I'll im processing is few objects and a house? Like survivalists bunker. Yet it doesn't lag when I'm firing 10 thousand rockets at the same time.
  10. This is obviously a FAQ but I couldn't find it, how do I create my own effect for an item (+2 Charism, Waterbreathing etc). And alos, how do I name the effect so it says 'Da Da Da - Water Breathing' on the pipboy..?

Also.... Grand Theft Auto 4, the most laggy, incompatible game around on pc used 40& of my gpu, and 100% of my cpu.....I don't know where this is going.
  12. Well, back on topic, I don't think its my gfx processing, its my cpu, why would it lag when theres only a few textures loaded in the game, when I checked task manager... 65% of my ram cpu was used at the time. Only 25% of the gfx card..
  13. I made it from scratch. exported it to obj, and thats all.
  14. Still not there.... All I have is this. >NiNode >NiTriShape 2_material 25 3... That's all my model has.
  15. The gts250 isn't bad, I can run every game I've got on high settings perfectly.... I'm not forking out another 300 dollars....
  16. I've been trying to rig my models but I can't because I'm having trouble finding the BSShader line in Nifscope. I've read lots of tutorials but I still can't find it. Can someone tell me an accurate way to finding it?
  17. Looking for it, where about is the X axis option after I've highlighted all verts?
  18. My mate has been working on a model ak-47 and gave it to me to touch up. Its detailed but is very thin. How can I stretch the model outwards so it looks a bit wider than it is in the picture here below. ]http://www.imageupload.org/?d=E12A0DBE1
  19. Yes, I have done that, but if I have done something wrong then yeah... thanks very much Also take as much time as you like : P I've got something else coming : )
  20. I'll try the plugin for 3DS. Also, what I did was export both meshes (gas mask and combat helmet) into OBJ. Then drag and dropped in 3DS to get the two meshes together. If you could have a look at the files that would be great!!!
  21. Hello again, I'm having troubles with my model for some reason. When I choose 'browse' in geck to locate the nif file, it comes up as a big exclamation mark. but when I open it in Nifscope I can see my model perfectly. Is there something I have to do to it to make it compatible? I am making a helmet model.
  22. Well what I've done is attached a gas mask to the original combat helmet. But, the bloody nifscope won't load the textures and when I try loading the nif in the geck it comes up with the Error Mark... (the textures load in 3DS) It sounds lazy of my asking someone to do it but I've spent hours fiddling with hex edit and everything : (
