Well, I'm not speaking from a perspective of 'expertise'. But I run AWOP, MOMOD, Electro-City, and about seventeen odds and ends (including a texture pack) and I'm not only having no problems but I don't even have a video card. Just the default on-board chip, whatever it happens to be. Haven't tried Poco Bueno, but I'll see if I can get the texture mod's name for you. It actualy makes things look better AND makes it run smoother. Back in a jiffy. Ok, the texture pack is called 'Detailed Normals' I'm also running a mod called 'Better Game Performance' Both of these helped me greatly. Sorry, but technical info is limited to Chemistry and Singularities; not applicable here.

Hmm,, I've got oodles of mods. Only one that alters explosives is EVE which changes how they look. I'll go through and read all the descriptions again to make sure. Thanks for the replies people. Really :)

I can't figure out how to arm my bottlecap mines. Tried several things but the stubborn things just lie there when placed. Never a 'Boom!'

Well, it's no jungle but Nevada Green was a huge relief for me when I found it. I had to disable grass because it choked my system.

Yeah, mine keeps telling me 'Fallout NV Unavailable' when I try to start. Been doing that for 3 days now. I tried clean re-install and still get the same message, even though my account says the game is ready to play.

I put many hours into New Vegas and 3 days ago I uninstalled almost every game from my hard drive then reinstalled Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Fallout 3 can be accessed but I consistantly get the message that Fallout New Vegas is "Unavailable" It's on the computer, though my DLC's (Dead Money and Hearts) are not there. The steam interface says the game is installed and ready to play. But If I actualy try to load the game it is "Unavailable" I'm about to go postal on my computer but decided to ask for help here first.... HELP!!!

Well, I would suggest leaving a comment on the mod's page mentioning the bug and requesting a sollution. The mod's maker has the best knowledge of it's inner workings.

Well, really wierd things CAN happen so I wouldn't say it's impossible. Perhaps your computer had a power fluctuation, what I call a Hiccup. I have had VERY strange things happen that way. Try checking everything and saving again. That could actualy fix it

Meaning that I can fire one off without feeding it? That is SOOO weird. Thaniks for the help, I didn't think to try shooting an unloaded gun :)

I looked out my window and actualy said out loud; "Wow, those trees are almost 3 dimensional"

I have 2 weapons that use MF breeder ammo but I have NEVER seen any. I'm assuming the MF Breeder means MicroFusion Breeder. MicroFusion ammo is uncommon enough, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get a single shot off with the MF Breeder fed guns. Where is it? Does it even exist? Inquiring minds want to know.

*Big smile* I gotta love the disparate views on this subject. I was only saying that in a situation where I DO have a choice I will choose clean. In a town with a good source of clean nonradiated water I will occasionaly clean my bedding, clothes, and self. I would just love to have that option in the game. Problem settled anyway, I'm using the clean bedding mod and can now sleep soundly.

I have Fallout New Vegas (bought at outlet store) and the two current expansions. The expansions were purchased through Steam. I've been playing for a couple of months and just found out I can't play the game if the Steam servers are busy? Is there a reason for this? A workaround (approved of course)? Seems odd that I can't play offline. I'm kinda upset. Help or info is appreciated.

Someone made a mod that gives a bigger tent that becomes a backpack when taken down, Looks nice too. And of course the name of it eludes me at the moment :(

Ok, I understand we are in a desert and the wind kicks up the dust all the time, but why is everything so FILTHY? I have a home in Goodsprings and I understand a certain amount of disrepair, but my sheets look like Herbie slept there, complete with nocturnal leakage. We have some good springs that give clean pure water but we somehow can't even give them a rinse? I know people in the S.C.A. who can make beautiful clothes using homemade spindles and looms. Almost everyone knows how to make a basic soap. Ok, on the road I accrue filth and victomgue, but at home i should have some modicum of clean. Just had to vent. I have cookies for whoever makes a mod with simple lore-friendly clothes and bedding. :yucky:

I'm sorry man, but I gotta laugh and wonder what you did to get banned from your own casino. Is that like getting shot by your own gun? Or maybe hung by your own rope, caught in your own trap, or hoisted by your own petard? Inquiring minds want to know :laugh:

Wnenever I use a skill book it gives me the +10 bonus to the skill for about 2 minutes then goes back to the pre-book level. It this the way it was intended to be? If not are there any hints on what the problem may be and how to fix it? I have already done a complete uninstall and reinstall but that did not change it.
