This is what I'm going to do - buy a cheap 4gb 680gtx from eBay. Sli, try them out. Sell my 2gb for 4gb, Try sli 4gb. Then I can sell both 4 gb later and pit money towards a single 7xx series when the price comes down .. Long winded but that makes the most sense!

When I first played skyrim a week ago I had the god ray through the mountains problem. Managed to turn them off. Now I can't turn them back on - sunrays=true doesn't work. I've even gone through my chrome history & tried reversing everything I read, & may have done I've since changed enbs & added loads of mods - Still no god rays - I want the over the top ones - where are they located? Enb?

How does enb & shaders get affected by my GPU setup? without ENB im getting 60fps, with ENB I get 30fps - is this a GPU or VRAM ceiling im hitting?

set up a company, and go to a trade/cash & carry - buy a massive bag of 25kg rice, thats what i do :) and im trying to start my own business atm, im losing more money than im making! - hence why i cant buy a shiny new card. i only wanted to spend £200

im just going to use it for the time being. it runs well without enb & i cant spend £££ on a new card which will SLi well in the future (7xx) .. looks like im going to have to wait for the prices to come down. if (when) i do sell i'll send you a pm, jet4571

hex I7, it never goes near 10%. SSD, 24gb RAM. graphics workhorse. do you ever hit 3gb limit?

im a bit in gfx limbo arent i.. not much point going SLi & expensive to upgrade.. unless i pay more for a similar card but with 4gb.. is there anything i can do with my old gtx? maybe just sell it ... edit* yeah the mars looks good, wll investigate

ive been out of the loop a while, working/family etc, needed a good game, so picked up skyrim (ive been a fan since morrowind) - love it. brilliant fun! currently got a gtx 680 2gb under the hood, and its not cutting it ... and I would love 3dvision as well. gaming on 2560x1600 how would you guys upgrade? is it possible for me to get good enb and good 3d stereo for little £££? or do i have to pick 2 of these 3 choices? ive got nvidia 3d glasses, so i would prefer to stay with them, and if i can utilise the 680 gtx in SLI or can I relegate it to other duties? (told you im out of the loop a bit - i remember there was talk about using old cards for other things a few years ago) I really want the best bang for buck upgrade - I dont have £500/$1000 lying around cheers for any help!
