  1. Hello! I've been playing Nuka World, and I get to a part of the quest where Shank is having me take over 3 outposts for the raiders. Well, I have one more outpost to go, but I have an issue. The game is telling me this. "Capture [...]. Meet your gang outside of [...]" I think this bug came about from me accidentally selecting the raiders to capture a settlement that was added by a mod, but I didn't know if anybody could help me get the Setstage command, or some other console command to get this to work. I've tried setstage, but it seems to have no effect. Any suggestions?

  2. Try:

    completeallobjectives MQ204

    this should complete Shattered.

    Then:

    SetStage MQ203 310

that should give you the "talk to Dr. Amari" quest stage.

Make a backup of your save or something in case it makes it worse though.

Do you happen to have the editor id of the quest "The Glowing Sea"? Dangerous Minds is already completed for me, and I just need to start The Glowing Sea in order to be able to continue.

  3. I was working on the quest Shattered, where explore Kellog's mind and get information on the institute. I completed this quest, but when I went to speak to Amari, she didn't give the dialog that should have been there. Instead, she used placeholder dialogue (Like, please do not kick or damage the memory loungers). After that, I got off and when I got on next, I had a quest marker that wanted me to go BACK into the area you are in when you explore kellog's mind. I force-teleported there using console, and I couldn't proceed forward with the quest at all. I've tried "completeallobjectives" and "startquest" to give me the quest that would usually come afterwards, but, startquest does not work. I have already completed the game, so don't worry about spoiling it for me if you need to in your answer. Thank you!

  4.

I'm against Consoles allowing mods for Fallout 4. If you want mods buy the PC version of the game mods need to be treated like an Exclusive just for PC.

Why ? As long as they don't limit modding capabilities to make it work with consoles, why should modding be kept to PC only ? That kind of elitist attitude is why some people don't like PC gamers.

I agree, modding should be kept to PC. Without permission from the authors of the mods in which they would be using on the Xbox 1, I don't think it should be allowed, especially since they were made exclusively for PC.

  5. I'm sure it's no secret that companions in FO:NV can't use weapon mods. For some reason, when you give them a modded weapon, it's like the mods are not even there.

For example, if I give Boone a Sniper Rifle with a suppressor, than he will equip a sniper rifle that does not have a suppressor, and the suppressor effect is not there. This is the same for any and all weapon mods. If anybody knows how to fix this, you will be my best friend *creepy smile*

  6. Yeah, I thought it wouldn't work. From what it looks like though, you can't really pick up static objects like Mines, since they plant themselves into the ground similarly to furniture in FO:NV :x

  7. Hey there!

You don't need to post the same thing several times, everyone will see the same post twice.

Some mods that would be awesome for you would be the Someguy Series. He makes some pretty amazing mods that are really fun to play.

This is the main file, needed to run all of his mods

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48925/?

Here are some of his created mods that I HIGHLY recommend:

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37310/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41184/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49012/?

Here are some realism mods that I also highly recommend!

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35998/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38800/?

And if you are a true Nexus fan, you will install the following mod, which makes Fallout: New Vegas what it should have been.

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40040/?

As for weapon mods, there are a ton. I recommend this weapon pack though, made by one of the staff members of the Nexus.

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55008/?

Now, if Fallout: New Vegas is a bit to easy, these mods will help increase the difficulty

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38623/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40980/?

If you do start to experience crashes, just PM me and I will be glad to help you figure everything out ^-^

  8. Wow... This texture pack looks absolutely gorgeous

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38539/?

Now as for the sky, you have lots of choices

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32972/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34886/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48313/?

Here are some weather ones :P

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52423/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48846/?

    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17802/?

There is a chance that some of these mods may conflict with one another. I don't play Skyrim so I cannot really tell, but from what I can tell, there is a chance that the sky and weather ones may conflict somehow. Let me know if there is anything else that you are looking for, and i'll be happy to continue to search ^-^

  9. I started running my FNV in windowed mode. Its easier to close and freezes less often.

In no particular order. Try one or all.

Both of you helped a lot! Thanks! I have tried running FO:NV in windowed mode and it has worked great so far

Since the window is alot smaller than usual, I might change it back to normal since I can do the shortcut to close all non-responsive programs like Unno said.

  10. I have been playing Fallout: New Vegas for a really long time. I also use mods but it sometimes freezes on the loading screen whenever I enter or exit an area. This is not a big issue at the moment, but I was wondering if anybody knows an easier way to close the frozen Fallout. I try opening Task Manager but it appears behind the Fallout: New Vegas screen and I cannot minimize it.

The only way that I have found to get away from it is by either

1.) Logging off, then canceling the log off whenever it asks me if I want to log off because I still have programs running

    2.) Restarting my computer completely.

    Any suggestions?

  11. This happens to me quite often as well, lol

The way I get around this, whenever you activate/deactivate a mod, it might ask you if you want to overwrite a file. Select either "No" or "No To All"

This is caused by a uninstall of whichever game you are modding, and the files are not in the game's "DATA" folder, but according to NMM's data, it says it is still in the data folder.
