Hello good people :smile: so today I tried making my own mod, which would probably be such a simple and easy one to an expert modder who KNOWS how to use all the tools right :wallbash: I tried making a retextured version of the Stormcloak Officer Helmet, brown colored. I watched a couple of lengthly YouTube tutorials on how to go about it, and downloaded the necessary tools required; GIMP, NifSkope, Mod Manager. Eventually I got to recoloring the Helmet texture (.DDS file) the way I wanted. Only problem is, I had retextured the Menu Icon, and NOT the actual Player Item. (.NIF file) Quite frustrated, as I've tried retexturing the Player Item, using the retextured .DDS file. So, my request guys, can someone please, PLEASE make a retextured version of the Stormcloak Officer Helmet? Or atleast tell me what I have to do? :huh: I'm not overly keen on some of the Top File armors which actually have the animal helmets/hoods. All I want is just a simple retexture of an in-game item.
