  1. ah well, guess i'll just have to deal with TW making a silly decision.
  2. I think this one is a no brainer. Warband had it, and these are clearly not death tournaments as half the time you are fighting your own men. The game already has wooden training weapons in the Training Grounds, I'm not sure why tournaments are suddenly treated like grizzly death matches where all the combatants miraculously walk away totally fine at the end. I don't know maybe I'm wrong, probably a dumb idea.
  3. I know man, it's really frustrating. Oldrim had a mod for this, called "Dragon Real Shouts", it was abandoned before Dragonborn came out however, so it was never "finished". how there is just nothing for SE. There are so many unbelievable mods for Skyrim that just won't ever be ported over to SE for whatever reason, and it's truly a shame, given how SE is a vastly superior platform to use, and will only get better once SKSE64 is more fleshed out.
  4. Damn, all this time, and no responses. Dragon Real Shouts was so good, I really wish someone else would do this since Dragon Real Shouts is incomplete and abandoned.
  5. I was not aware of this "Open Civil War" this is a fantastic discovery, and darn close to the original Overhaul mod. Thank you kindly for bringing this to my attention.
  6. Does anyone know of any good mods that enhance the Civil War quest-line yet, since the Overhaul mod is obviously never coming back? <.< I know hardly anyone mods SSE yet, and even fewer ever bothered with the Civil War quest-line unfortunately. I'm sure it's not even really possible to do anything with it yet without SKSE being in a more robust state, so does anyone have any plans to do something with this when that happens?
  7. Just curious if this kind of mod exists for this game, I've looked off and on for a few years and haven't seen one yet.
  8. i'm not overly experienced with PC hardware, but I'e found SSE performs smooth as butter for me compared to Oldrim in a vanilla state. I use an old Radeon 7770 with also 12gb of RAM with an old Phenom II Quad Core Unparked.
  9. NMM does not, nor has it ever, organized and properly sorted your load orders. All it does is download the mods and installs them into the proper files. Sorting and organizing is up to you, using programs like LOOT. I've used NMM for years, and I've had almost no problems with any of my games by downloading the proper patches and using LOOT, and BOSS before that to keep the load orders sorted. Do not blame modders or NMM for your own failings and modding ignorance.
  10. So, does anyone know if there is yet a mod for real dragon shouts, where the dragons actually say the words of the Shout rather than just screaming? if not would anyone be willing to make this happen? O.o
  11. Yea it's a good place to start, but it's such a small drop in the pond compared to all that is missing.
  12. They existed long before Tiber Septim was even born. I see no reason why they would disband because of that. Also theres any number of reasons you could invent to bring the Order to Skyrim on a Holy Mission, If you recall in Oblivion they was always talking about going on Expeditions in search of Artifacts and such for safe keeping, or going forth to purge the wicked powers of the Daedra and so forth. Lots of things could bring them here.
  13. I just don't get it. Did everyone hate that DLC? No one has ever made a Skyrim mod about the Order of the Nine as far as I know. I always loved it because it gave a great counter balance to the excessive amount of "evil" Daedric quests Elder Scrolls always has. All these years I was hoping someone would make an epic Knights of the Nine quest mod for Skyrim. Sadly it seems it will never happen, and I'll have to rely on Oblivion to give me my Divinely Blessed hero story. Seriously was I the only one hopping for this? Am I the only one who cares about this? KoTN: Revelations by Lanceor was nothing short of a work of Art, imo. I really hoped beyond hope that someone felt that same passion for it.
  14. Anyone? This hasn't happened to anyone else? Would really love to fix this without Console Sorcery.
  15. As the title suggests, when I speak to Delphine while I have ANY follower following me and tell her to induct my follower into the blades and I tell her I'm sure she says that she will give them the oath..... followed by nothing. She just goes back to what ever she was doing and my follower is not dismissed no matter how many times I select the option. Notable things: I have not yet reached the stage where they require you to kill Paarthurnax in order for you to further interact with them. The dialog option "I've brought someone to induct into the blades" only appears during her first lines when you initiate dialog and then disappears once she finishes what she is saying. I can only get it to reappear if exit the dialog then wait roughly 10 seconds and speak to her again then I have the option (but only while she is speaking). I can select the option and it appears as if everything is normal but after I confirm I want the induction she says she'll give the oath and then nothing happens. I have tried this with several housecarls and many followers all of which fail to leave my service. (She also never says the oath)
  16. Wow! I literally just discovered this! This looks totally amazing! I can't wait to play this! (i actually can, just an expression :P )
  17. That totally worked, didn't think it would, but it did. Thanks a lot.
  18. So I decided to use a Save Tool from Nexus and found out that my Save game is currently running 95,880 Active Scripts, which I can only assume is causing the massive lag issues. Now this wasn't a problem until I started the Diplomatic Immunity quest when it spiked to 144,019 Active Scripts. I don't know if there's anything about this particular quest that is script intensive but after I turned that quest in, it has now dropped to 95,880, which of course is still outrageous. I was having zero problems at all with performance for the first 34 levels of my game. I've done a ton of content with no issues. It just suddenly spiked during this quest and hasn't dropped down to acceptable amounts yet. So is there something I can do here? I don't know much about scripting, I do admittedly use a lot of mods. However they've never caused a problem like this before in my previous playthroughs. Edit: It seems the number of Active Scripts is dropping slowly over time, but it's still too laggy to be playable.
  19. That's just a Fus Roh Dah mod. My problem is for every shout. I've got almost 2000 hours into Skyrim and this problem has never happened before this play-through.
  20. idk whats happening, it's literally never happened before. But every time I use a Shout on the Second Tier or higher the words keep cutting out. It's not even consistent, once in a while it does it perfectly and sometimes the words don't get said at all. Mostly it's in between those two extremes. Anyone else have this happen to them? Or know how to fix it? It's so annoying.
  21. I don't know how to fix this. Everything works fine until it updates to the "Attend the Ceremony" stage. Then I walk in and everyone just gives the generic "congratulations" dialogue and Maramal just stands there, doing nothing. I've tried resetting his AI, Disable/Enable. waiting on an hourly basis, reloading a save from before the quest started and trying it over. Trying different possible NPCs and Puring the Cell Buffer to reload the temple. I'm out of ideas here. Does anyone know of a workaround? nevermind, found the Quest Stage command to force it to finish. Can't believe this can still happen.
  22. Seriously? wow these games seem way more complex then they have to be. But what do I know? I'm not developer lol.
  23. lol either way, this is literally the only thing thats wrong with my game (besides random CTDs and whatnots). I typically give him an Ebony Longsword of Frost, since it matches the armor better, but really this just bugs me because it shouldn't be happening at all.
  24. As I said the sword spawns properly in his inventory, it's just being denied by the Dagger in importance (if that makes sense) at least I assume that's what's happening. I don't have any mods that alter Loot/Equipment Lists. All of my mods are mainly texture replacers, adding new towns and Unique Landscapes. I DO have several big "Quest" mods, but none of them involve Martin in any way. Those mods being Verona House Bloodlines, Kvatch Rebuilt, KoTN: Revelations and DB Awakening. The only mod I have relating to swords is the Silver Sword texture fix, which the UOP guys never fixed. I cannot even imagine where to start looking for a conflict. I don't THINK his armor was playable, it's a been a while since I last did Battle of Bruma.
