  1. Do you know what format the textures of the scopes are!? I'm going mad trying to work it out!|
  2. Dunno the file names myself, but you should be able to pull them from this mod (the names, core files you should extract and edit yourself) http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1532/? Also, really cool WIP you got there, can't wait to see it done! Hi man, I found that these textures only apply to the Guass rifle (as far as im aware) and the power armour numbers are different files.... still looking for them :(
  3. I'll have a go! Nope, .dds doesn't work in the swf files... :(

Also, really cool WIP you got there, can't wait to see it done! Sick dude thanks! They're in Textures3, thanks for showing me i can get this done soon!
  5. I've almost finished with the first version of my Power Armour retexture, however the only parts I need to change now are the numbers, Does anybody have any idea where the ammo/power core counter textures are and what their files are called? Here's the progress, if you're interested. I would also LOVE to find out how to remove the opacity on the hud so it's solid. http://imgur.com/IgG0h3C
  6. It's not a texture it's a sprite, I can extract it as a png from the .swf but that doesn't get anybody anywhere
  7. Do any of you know what format the sprites are that are inside the .swf files? I'm sat here trying to replace them with .pngs like an idiot and not getting anywhere, anybody care to save me?
  8. If hes gonna use the nvidia dds plugin for photoshop he will want to save the files with DXT5 interpolated alpha as the compression, or DXT1 depending on how big of a file he wants in his mod. and also generate mipmaps. DXT 5 has better quality but bigger sizes, DXT 1 has not so good quality but small sizes. I'm using all that with my normal texture mods, it's just the texture elements of the reticles within the .swf files are their own little thing and won't work...
  9. Oh, its done in flash. I'm not very good at editing flash or scaleform. I'll still try to help though. If I can get the image replaced ill let you know how I did it. Did you have any luck?
  10. Yeah here you go dude, thanks for the response! I'm trying to replace the reticle that's highlighted in the screenshot for now. Honstly i have no idea how to work out what format those reticles are in i'm sorry, that might be my issue? The reticle i'm trying to add is the green triangle and it's a png. the full scope design down the bottom is what I eventually want to end up with! Cheers Here are the images: http://imgur.com/a/ewr1e
  11. I'm trying to work out how to change the scope crosshairs with my custom ones but they just show up as big green blocks when I try to do it...
  12. Hey guys, i'm trying to replace the Fallout 4 Scope reticles with my own custom ones using JPEXS but whenever I scope in game whatever I added in turns into a big green block, do you have any idea on why that is? My custom reticles are png format with alpha channels if that's an issue. I'm very new to this as you might be able to tell! Reticle replacment outcome: http://imgur.com/hnY59cg
  13. Hey guys, i've been trying to replace the recon scope crosshairs with the design attached (without the background on it obviously) but whenever I zoom in in game to test is the whole screen goes a solid green, I'm new to this and i'd love to sort this out! Cheers
  14. Hey guys, massive modding noob here! I'm wanting to make some texure mods for Fallout 4, but i'm not 100% on what the process is. Thanks for your help!
  15. Hi guys So i've been using Nexus for mods for years now, and i've loved what mods can bring to games. So i'm a graphics designer and I was wanting to start a new mod project with some people who know what they're doing. This year i've made few huds/overlays for the Halo games and I want to find out how to impliment mods and designs i do into fallout 4. Basically I want to create a series of HUD designs for standard gameplay, vats, and power armour. I've got the skill to create the actual graphics of them, just no idea on how to actually impliment them into the game, so if anybody would up for helping me out that would be sick, or at the least showing me the correct place to look/learn how to do it! Cheers guys
