  1. Would it be possible to change the scanner's behavior to allow us to use weapons while in scan mode (instead of the default automatic switching to the Cutter)? I'd really like to be able to keep my weapon at the ready whilst still highlighting mineral nodes and such. Thanks for your time and consideration.
  2. I'm just wondering if anyone can make a Resorep mod to retexture the skirt underneath the Lawgiver armor set that changes the color to black, so as to match the color of the Master Assassin hood. Additionally, if the little purplish tails could be made to match or be removed entirely, that would be awesome. If someone would rather explain to me how to do this myself, I'd appreciate that, too. Thank you for any help or suggestions!
  3. Heya! I am trying to change a spell from a mod (it's a Lesser Power) from Fire and Forget to Concentration. I changed it in the CK, and also changed the three Magic Effects it triggers to Concentration as well. I was hoping that would be enough, but in-game I still can't continuously channel the spell. It's a fire spell (originally from the Witchery Skills mods, but which I changed a bunch from the get-go). I think I'm missing something, and I suspect it's some kind of duration or timing variable somewhere. I'm just not sure what to tweak. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  4. Just a few appreciative thoughts I wanted to express to the modding community, hoping a bunch of mod authors see this. THE WITCHER 3 provides the greatest world in which I've ever lived. UNCHARTED tells the greatest story through which I've ever played. FOLKLORE is shrouded in the most unique atmosphere in which I've ever been immersed. But, SKYRIM, dear, sweet, TESV, is the many-faced God of Games, the Phylactery of My Many Souls, the Greatest Sand-Box of All Time, and the Keeper of My Fantastic Dreams. I make it and unmake it again and again, and somehow there's always more. Where else could possibly be home? But what compels me, repeatedly, to come back home? Mods. The work of countless artistic Samaritans, selflessly sharing their endless endeavor to re-imagine the vanilla world into a Neapolitan dream. You're all so f*#@ing awesome. I try to endorse every mod I use, and I've dropped a couple of my precious few dollars into the Nexus when I can, but I thought I'd just toss some gratitude into the Reddit Reflecting Pool in hopes of drawing out a few smiles on the faces of the Magical Mod Fairies. If you're one of the total badasses that have carved out a mod page on the Nexus (or Lover's Lab, or just put a file on Dropbox or whatever) that I've relied on to keep SKYRIM fresh, I salute you. Hell, bows and curtsies, too. Have a thumb's up and some Shooter-McGavin-hands, and a Fresh Prince pshhhhht at the end. You deserve it all.
  5. Greetings, all! I'm just wondering if it's possible to assign an activator in-game. I've spawned and delicately placed a Shrine of Stendarr in my home, and want to make it functional. I know you can do this in the Creation Kit. I'm just wondering if it's possible to create the requisite activator in-game with console commands. Suggestions? Apologies if this has already been answered! Searched Google a bit and couldn't find the same question. Edit: Nevermind! I figured it out. I'll delete the thread if I can figure out to do so.
  6. Wow. Prompt reply! I appreciate the help. I could use a few more pointers though, if you can manage. I'm in TES5Edit right now, and I have both the Non-Player Character tab for Sabrecat and Packages tab within Tame Beasts open. I can't seem to locate any of those lines in either of those sections. I'm not sure if I'm looking in the wrong place altogether, or if I'm just overlooking discrete bits of text. Would those lines/variables be under the actor (sabrecat) itself, or under the packages associated with the actor? I've currently set the packages to refer to the default followandkeepdistance package in the Skyrim.esm, but that doesn't do anything. Update: I searched through the mod's Nexus page and discovered an update that I hadn't previously installed. It seems to have fixed the attention-whoring of my trusty sabrecat! Thanks a bunch for the help.
  7. I'm more than positive you won't see this message because the thread is almost a year old - but could you explain in more detail how to edit a follower's distance in TES5Edit? I am trying to make a sabrecat follower from Tame the Beasts of Skyrim back off a bit (for the exact same reason - nudging me on horseback), and I just can't get any changes I make to translate to any results in-game. I've edited the packages corresponding to the NPC, obviously not the correct entries. I don't see anything about mins and maxes, so I've tried switching a package template to "followandkeepdistance," to no avail. It's a desperate hope, at best, that you'll see this, but I'm out of options, otherwise.
