  1. Sorry to resurrect this (over 7 years later), but I'm having the same problem getting the dragonborn quest line started. Settings: 1) Shouts set to Dragonborn 2) time to dragons left at mod setting (not changed) 3) I have killed a dragon and absorbed its soul. 4) I have "activated" the shout and it works, The Quest: 1) I have tried using the console command for MQ 101 (to get ti started), MQ 102 (to get it started), and MQ 103 (setstage 103 190 as the latest one) 2) Quests do not appear in my journal/log. I know I'm missing something simple. I've used this mod many, many times before and don't recall running into this trouble before this run. Thanks for any insights
  2. Same here. First time user. Looked at FAQs. Nothing there. I tried to do a full scan. I set my directories. All I have listed is EVERY GAME ON NEXUS! So... I guess I go and HIDE all of these? If so, why even have a "scan" function? Is this supposed easier or more difficult than NMM? edited for typos
  3. Thank you very much, dubiousintent! That was what I was looking for :)
  4. I'm having the same problem and I apologize for this, but need to ask: "How EXACTLY does one Archive Invalidate?" When is it checked? Is it ever unchecked? After installing the mod, checked or not? What about other/future mod installations? Everyone seems to "ass-u-me" that everyone gets this "ArchiveInvalidation" step, and I apologize, but I am soooo confused about this.
  5. It's been a few years (3) since the last post, but I am having Riften COC troubles. I have Esbern in tow. We made it through to the Ragged Flagon. As soon as I try to exit to the Ratway, I CTD. I've turned off auto save thinking that may help. It did not as I still CTD. So I did the <help rfiten 0> console command and the list is not 100% visible. There are more commands above the 4 or 5 <page ups> I can do. I've done each filter (1, 2, 3, and 4) to try to shorten the list. COC riften ratway (and cell hex id) seems to work (no script error message), but I go nowhere. COC riften grand plaza (and cell hex id) acts the same. It "looks" like it is working but I go nowhere. COC riften stables (and cell hex id) is the same. I am in the Ragged Flagon. Fast Travel is not a possibility. I should be having an attack coming up in The Ratway I do not want to miss. I'm sure this is mod related (never happened when I played vanilla), but I have easily about 50 mods running. Going through each and every one is more work than this current game is worth. Any ideas or help would be appreciated  [EDIT] Upon further investigation, the command <coc riftenbeggarsrow> got me out of The Ragged Flagon just fine, with Esbern still in tow :)
  6. [Edit] Stopped reading too soon! The above quoted post works MUCH better!
  7. OK. Emma's Headpack is NOT causing this. I played last night with NO extra mods installed but the MGSO mods. Tried booting up Morrowind today and fgot the exact same messge. Sorry for any confusion.
  8. I am getting the dreaded "failed to load snowflake: meshes \BM_Snow_01.nif" mesaage when I install this mod. Even when uninstalled, that message keeps appearing. I do NOT have Morrowind in on my C: drive. It is on my E: drive, where all my games reside. I have a clean install of morroinwd also on that drive, where I keep my clean install to copy and paste over to my Morrowind folder. My process: I copy and paste the clean install to my empty Morrowind directory. I copy my MGSO (v3.0 Final) files to that directory. I run MGSO I run Morrowind. Loads up as it should. I add Emma's Nord headpack. Message appears: "failed to load snowflake: meshes \BM_Snow_01.nif" Uninstall Emma's headpack. Message appears: "failed to load snowflake: meshes \BM_Snow_01.nif" Start over from scratch. I realize the creator is probably no longer active (linked website gets a 404 error). However, the front page is located here: http://lovkullen.net/Emma/ I was just curious if this has happened to others. The reason I like this mod is for the male nord with the short, neat graying beard
