  1. Yeah! Nice to discover your work. I have now some penguins, chickens and seagulls in my load order :)
  2. In response to post #43547550. #43553880, #43556180, #43562575 are all replies on the same post. I understand your feelings here as I deal with clients myself in a communication company. The good news is that Nexus is not a communication company and we are not clients. Cheer up ;)
  3. I want to install NMM version 9.99.999, must be terrific! :D Tiles make sense a lot as it gives a good and quick narrative and plays well with different screen sizes. It is elegant and functional and it is the most difficult part to nail down when designing a website, so, congratulations. Awesome job guys.
  4. The problem is that no one donates. I've been modding for 10+ years, while donations have been available for 4-5 years. I've received a total of 2 donations in that time period. And they were, combined, less than $10. When you look at the aggregate, practically no one donates. And if people can't afford "hundreds of dollars" for mods, well, I'm sorry that you can't. Neither can I. But first, not all mods will require payment, and secondly, you can't go out and buy every single video game that developers release, now can you? Do you tell all the indie game developers that they shouldn't sell their games because you can't possibly afford to buy them all? As for the whole "appreciating modding", how about you let each individual mod author be the judge of what they do and don't "appreciate", ok? I am well aware that donation does not give modders a salary nor do I imply pretending to know what modders receive as donation as I am not a psychic. I was comparing Donation to Paid mods, debating the OP statement. As for "the whole appreciating modding", I am confuse about the possible offense that I made. I don't know your life and don't assume anything about you as a modder. Maybe my English is not good enough (I am French) to explain that: Modders like and CAN appreciate what they do IF the means of delivery out there respect their artitistic rights. If my previous sentence did sound to you - that I am feeling entitled to receive something from modders and that they should be happy pedaling in their cave to bring me electricity - That was not the case. I have made one mod myself as a thank you to all Nexus people and particularly the modders that makes my playthrough amazing and interesting. I have no skill in 3D or scripting nor do I have the time right now to jump into all those things. But I would not be here if I was not respecting this community.
  5. You are nuts :D None of what your saying is true. Valve does not own Casino or Gambling websites. Oh and do tell us how YOU want modders to make their mods open source to please YOUR acquired taste based on the Nexus agreement that you don't read nor respect.
  6. Donation or Free options are the only one relevant in Beth.net world or Nexus because: > A mod will be always in a Beta state. > A modder is not a product manager or a sales person nor obligated to deliver anything. Free or Donation makes possible for the Author to have a life besides modding so he can appreciate modding. Asking for a definitive price is denying modding as a hobby and ignite the inner entitlement that comes with a product you paid. Donation is a Thank you, a recognition and help. Price tag is call to fire.
  7. If the "player.placeatme (actor code here)" from Skyrim works: You could bring the console the first time you encounter the dog or whenever he is with you, then click on him and note the code somewhere. That way you could call him anytime. This works in Skyrim to call any NPC or objects and as many commands are the same, I suggest that you give it a try.
  8. My worst crash happened when I encountered the first non hostile NPC in FO4. I could not tell if he heard me coming because he had his back turn while cooking, As a concerned and polite person I start running around to let him ear my footsteps. Nothing. I jump and shoot bullets in the air. Nothing. I punch him on his back: "Howdy, how 'bout fixing those dem pump over there?" He did not asked me who I was nor where I was coming from; instant trust and a slight advertisement that me punching him was not ok. After realizing that Hostile NPC where as one dimensional as the non hostile ones (Call you names and shoot at you from a very far distance), I had a sever Crash. I was suddenly back on the desktop. After being unintelligible and flailing my arms in the air for a while, my wife later told me that my computer was fine, but obviously, I was not. I slept on the couch that night.
  9. I did not have Popcorn nearby but I enjoyed my time reading this thread none the less. I think this makes would make more sense: User receive Mod by downloading (like a present) > Says "Thank you" by sending money. End of the story. What to expect in the next step (If this applies to your logic) from the Mod Author should be "You are welcome." not "Thank you." if you follow me. One cannot expect receive a "Thank you" in return of a "Thank you". Maybe the picture I do not see is that the OP separate the meaning of the money from the "Thank you" it bears naturally.
  10. AMD A8 7600 processor + AMD R7 370 + 8Gb RAM here. The Launcher evaluate my rig to play on LOW when in fact I can set everything up to High or Ultra as long as I keep Distant Object Details Low. A $80 processor with a $150 graphic card. My rig does not exceed $500.
  11. Open World Action Role Playing Game? Sandbox is more a denomination than a classification for me.
  12. Very wise thoughts. Some graphic cards may put a limit to number of polygon they can handle and some others will not accept uber textures. I had a NVidia GT640 that handled better polygon mods on Skyrim but not textures, now I have a way better card that is not handling the same mod. The processor is also an important part in conjunction with the grapic card to consider with.
  13. Bought the game yesterday and played till back to my home town. I don't want to be Boby McBuilder. Period! I do not care even about modding my weapons nor having to maintain an exo-squeletton. I want to follow that thin and perilous line that will eventually lead me to my son and some answers. I want to roam the land, sleep in shitty places, starve, cry, suffer, feel this land. I want to bath in RAD water and see the sun comes out. I want to chew my half baked mole rat meat and drop a tear before sunrise after a night of running off troubles and near death. I want to be the only reliable thing my dog think about. I want to wear clothes only reaped from the people that I put out from their misery. I want to be excited to find ammunition and a weapon that match. I want to appear before the final boss only with my experience and determination. Replace "I want" with "I need". I guess I can. I will just have to club to death everybody that ask me to do their job: surviving. (I hope NPC can be set to non essential if they are.) Great ambiance, super engine, awesome animations. Too much micro management from the scratch, gave me a panic attack.
  14. Fine Costumes and fine food. Benn watching too much Hannibal serie.
  15. Hello MAZZ89. You may try to download .NET Framework version 3 and its updates and then installed them independently from NMM Legacy. You shoul also make a backup of all your mods that are kept in Nexus Mod Manager file and then do a clean install. I did not do that the first time : i installed NMM Legacy and even if it worked and recognised the file, i had to re enable each mod. The result was a mess. Since then,i have made a clean install and it is working as intended. I tried again the non-legacy NMM and it would not work like previously. See you and good luck.
