  1. How do I refine the text files? My Character Creation Screen, is showing Greyed out RACE/HAIR to the left, of the RACE/HAIR options, how do I correct this? Can someone post me, a perfect listing of clean font/text format, so I do not have this issue?

  3. 1.I moved my data folder to a separate drive, intending to get a clean install, for Requiem. 2.I uninstalled Skyrim via steam, leaving SKSE and Dragonscript in the route folder. 3. I reinstalled Skyrim via steam. 4. When going to install Requiem, my Nexus Mod Manager, had retained the data folder files, contracted to my old Skyrim. 5. I scratched my head, and said forget requiem. 6. Without moving my other folder back in place, Old Skyrim saves and mods all worked regularly. 7. Dragon encounter on a clean save, has the mesh all blobbed out. a bit of an edge line here and there, but really, just a blob of melty clay. 8. My game didnt have this issue before this. Any suggestions, I am going to verify integrity now. see what happens.
  4. Well, essentially I'd like to be able to use the character that is being played in my game, so If I uncheck his boxes, aren't I removing those characteristics?
  5. im just looking for someone that matches the idea of Hamelyn the Rat King... here... According to the journal he carries, he was imprisoned in Whiterun for ten years, having been called a "madman", but escaped and enrolled at the College of Winterhold as an apprentice alchemist. There, he writes, his instructors beat him because they were jealous of his genius, and he was expelled. He is breeding an army of Venomfang skeevers, in preparation for his day of revenge, and has discovered that the ingredients available in the meadery are perfect for the task. However, his skeevers are also being exploited by an unhappy meadery employee as part of a plot to get rid of the meadery's owner. I wish to Destroy all there is of Skyrim and Nirn alongside him. Praise Alduin!!
  6. I am looking to accompany my bad ass character of the week: 2 handed Hammer Destruction/Conjuration 1 Hand/Shield Restoration Dragon Shout Heavy Armor Pulverizor... I ran across Hamelyn the Rat king under Honningmead Brewery... I play Legendary and he is a Leveled Bandit Wizard... so he came with ultimate: FireBall IceSpike LightingChain also he matched the lurking evil of my character. ALAS... I can not successfully get him as a follower. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
  7. That did the trick on the blank NPC i tried to work it with. How do I set a character to unique that is a duplication of a character whos Unique box is greyed out.. Specifically : Hamelyn "dunhonningbrewratguy" : who has Actor Base: Template : LvlWizardBanditCommonerM I wish to use Hamelyn as an exact duplication to my own personal follower... spells and level capabilities etc..
  8. Well I figured out the greyed out area was because of the set boxes on the character information area... however I still can not work my way around the Parent NPC Relationship problem... I am not sure what specifically would be in conflict by Haemyns LvlWizardBanditM class... basically.. .IF i alter that do I just have to go make my own character anyway? If that is what is conflicting with the follower relationship...
  9. Hey all, Ive made followers before, both new and I think duplicated as welll. I am running into some trouble with this one however. I want to duplicate Hamelyn, who shows up under BRETON ACTOR DunHonningBrewRatGuy -I duplicate him. I change ID and Name to "AshaMan". -I set essential -I set Factions CurrentFollower Rank -1 -I set Potential Follower Rank 0 -----The next step is where I cant proceed----- I can not edit the AI DATA for "Hamelyn" it is greyed out, and I can not find a way to make it unrestricted. ALSO I am told to go into the Relationships tab and change Parent NPC to what I set the ID to: "AshaMan" however, there is no "AshaMan" selection. I set the Child NPC to "Player" I don't need to edit any character personalization/inventory data, I just want to duplicate the base NPC into a separate follower version. but I am getting jammed up by those 2 problems... I was going along with the provided NPC Follower creator guide.... http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SkyrimCKPublic/discussions/1/882959061768715596/ but it doesnt tell me how to resolve those problems.
  10. The combative NPC : Hamelyn who is underneath Honningbrew meadery, is not in the creation kit for me. I was literally just playing the game and fighting him... his journal is the only thing that shows up under his name... what gives? I wanted to make him a follower.
  11. dam i am fail... i could have sworn for all these years i have only used the first dragon soul to acquire all words.

Right.. what I am saying is.. words come in 2-3 parts... you unlock the shout for the first word, and the rest of the words come with it...you only need one dragon soul per SHOUT... the grey beards give you a dragon soul power for the 2nd word of unrelenting force.. when you already unlock it on killing the first dragon... no other shout in the game requires you to use 2 dragon souls for the same word....
  13. Would it be posssible to make a shout or a spell that lets you Fly around? the Ningheim race lets you teleport to places in sight... could there be a durational flight shout?

  15. Slavery in Skyrim requestWhat would be a totally cool way to make cash or to prove character's domination than being able to collect slaves in combat? I am seeing this as both, either physical activation, or magical capable. There are a couple mods that come to mind that would endorse the feesibility of this mod, Taming beasts of skyrim, which is capturing a living creature under your command. So the scripting has to be viable to regulate level difference and affect of capture. (not the actual mod) Instant kill sneak attack mod, that allows you to play variably with affect of striking in stealth mode as an instant kill or regular strike I believe? So on the most basic level.. you engage enemies in combat... it takes into consideration level difference and damage applied... you can choose to cast a power, or utilize an item in your inventory that ensnares the enemy for pick up. it can come with chances of failure and escape and prolonged neglect freedom. This can be lead into the next step, which can be maintained by physical human presence where the slave actually follows you, or scripted to a writ, which vouches for the slaves existence.. or a magical binding that places the humanoid into a compartment like a bag of holding or something... or perhaps slave carts exist? Then the third tier of this is having an actual slaver buy them... it can be as generic as simply allowing you money. it can be extended to having them do actual services... it can be had that you can own the slaves in your own dominion.... also a final aspect which could be cool is applying a GLADIATORAL betting/death sport service along with it. the dynamics of this depend largely on the person working on its interest in putting the work in. I am not a modder in any way shape or form. But I know some of you have the abiltiy to wiz through this stuff as I mention it, to the degree determined by your interest to put effort towards it. This would be a fresh wave to the game I believe. If It wouldn't result with such a shafty cheesy botched and buggy result, Id try grunting my way through the scripting/modding process myself. I might just try it... BUT I STRONGLY SUGGEST someone puts this concept to physical form... much success to the gaming world if you succeed
  16. Would it be possible for someone to put a merchant in who offers you a MYSTERY purchase of a randomly generated enchanted item?? You could have it as simple as one purchase any item any enchantment...or a tier system (armor or weapon or jewlery) + (material of item) + (# of enchantments) = price 1 , price 2, price 3... I picture something like the mysterious sages/guard who turned into a hermit traveling around like the khajiit... would be a pretty cool feature...
  17. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52421/? I made this mod myself, as I have made other mods myself... it keeps deactivating from my skyrim list for some reason. I have downloaded other mods from Steam Workshop and while they didnt show me the subscribing installation they normally did, they were still functional. Now I have to reactivate this mod every couple of game loads... any ideas?
  18. I would like to be able to read books while still being able to walk around or engage in combat. I have a conjurer illusionist that really does not do much in terms of interactive combat. So the ability to make books pop up without pausing your game would be fantastic. Something along the lines of Morrowind Interface where you could lock menus on the surface if the screen while you played. Does anyone know anything like this, point me in the right direction?
  19. I used the turtorial it worked fine. I am talking about the editing I did. it broke the merchant. What broke it How do I repair it?

  21. I made a personal merchant, duplicated from fletcher of solitude, I created the chest and attached it to its own personal faction. All worked fine. I created this off of vanilla Skyrim. I decided I wanted to add some more items into the merchant, so i uploaded mods Scout Armor and Bosmer Armor. I added the items to the vendor and went back in game, since I had him set to merchant style vendor fletcher... the armor did not show up, where as the new arrows I added did (off of those mods). I went back into the creation kit and changed his vendor style to misc item. I left all other affiliations the same, except that I only loaded my personal file instead of the two other mods, because I had set my personal plugin as the Active file. I went back into the game and he will not show any goods in his inventory. the only item he will buy from me is a perk mod book Ancient Text. The NPC chest is still below the ground and it still has the arrows I added from those mods, still not the armor. In thinking it was as simple as varying the merchants buy/sell allowance, without needing to load in the alternate mods, I have broke the connection to my merchant and his chest. If I recreate a merchant fresh from the ground and apply it to the same chest same faction different sell/buy... Will this resolve my problem? What exactly did I do in switching the vendor buy/sell and not loading the alternate mods I had used.

The sunken ship in the big lake with the Lady stone North of Falkreath has some loot at the bottom of it... however every time i approach it i get the purple spell affect and am teleported on a patch of ice above t he water... Is this a vanilla scenareo or placed by one of those mods that add treasure/loot I have 2 of them... LC_Immersive lot... and more loot table (forget the actual mod). Any insight?
