  1. Been there, done that - or still doing it. My SKSE crashdumps are also not logging. I know this is quite late, but have you tried enabling papyrus logging? Most of the community says papyrus logs are useless, but there are times when it's a script that messes up my game and causes CTDs, so I know that they are of some, but maybe limited use. Go to your skyrim.ini file, look for the papyrus section and set: bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 Once your game crashes, go into your Skyrim folder (not the one in your steam data, the one in My Documents) and there should be a new folder called Logs. Inside you will find your papyrus logs. If the last line of your papyrus log is an error, look for which object is mentioned in the error, there should be an 8 or 9-character ID attached to it. Take the first two characters, open LOOT and search your load order for a mod with a load number with those two characters. If the last few lines of what I said are unintelligible: https://levelskip.com/rpgs/How-to-find-the-cause-of-a-Skyrim-crash-which-mods-caused-it-and-how-to-resolve-it-using-Papyrus-logs-and-Windows-Grep
  2. Thanks for your reply. I have xp32 skeleton installed, so that shouldn't be the problem. I could try xpmse though. FNIS could have a problem, let me check that.
  3. Hey, I just started a new game because I made a few critical modding errors in my previous playthrough, which left over a thousand orphaned scripts in my save file (sigh) and was giving me more than a few problems. So, in the interest of starting anew as well as to roleplay better (I also made a few roleplaying mistakes), I have created a new character. However, the problem of CTDs still plagues me. These happen at random times, when doing any action, it could be on a loading screen, on creating a save, anything. These happen more frequently than I would like, and it's starting to bother me. Months after months of CTDs and other problems have taught me a few ways of error troubleshooting, which have worked for me in the past, but the mysterious thing is, none of them seem to work with this problem. I have enabled Papyrus logging to see if it is a script issue (I know they're usually useless, but I have had times when a script caused a CTD), I also enabled crashlogging on SKSE to create crashdump files and allowing me to feed them through an online crash analyser. I even enabled diagnostics in my SKSE.ini file to tell me something. The problem is this: all these things turn up empty. My SKSE crashdumps have a size of 0KB. my papyrus logs don't turn any errors, only warnings. The save cleaner utility I use gives me a clean readout on my save: no orphan scripts. LOOT detects no errors or conflicts. My Bashed Patch looks fine. Yet I still get these CTDs, which, by the way, is on a completely new game, where my character has just entered Whiterun from Riverwood. Can anyone more experience in modding give me some help? My Load Order: My Last Papyrus log (I know they're usually useless, but you never know) Can't post my savegame here, but if anyone needs it, I can give them a dropbox link. No point posting crashdumps, because they are all 0KB. UPDATE: Looking through my Papyrus log, I suspect that my CTDs could have been due to something requiring USKP and the HF and DG patches, which I used up till I got DB in the interest of installing some mods that required it, at which point I switched to USLEEP and completely neglected to update my Bashed Patch. That may be the cause but I cant really be sure because the errors were logged a full 6 minutes before the crash occurred. I have updated my Bashed Patch but it's a bit too late at night to test it out. Thanks guys!
  4. Hi guys, So my game started crashing whenever I fast travelled anywhere in the world. Before anyone asks, I have tried reloading a previous save, I have cleaned my save, I have reinstalled game files and mods, etc. I'm already at the end of my tether. Can someone help me find something in this mess? My Load Order: The last few lines of my papyrus log: I think it's something to do with a Hearthfire script, but I can't be sure. Please help me, thanks.
  5. Hey guys, So out of nowhere, my game has started crashing anytime I fast travel. It just happened out of the blue one day and has kept happening ever since. Between when the game was working fine and when it started crashing, I didn't install anything new. Before anyone asks, I have tried disabling autosave, I have loaded new Skyrim.ini files, I have tried reinstalling the entire game (mods included), I have tried cleaning my save, I have tried everything, but the game still crashes. I enabled Papyrus logging, and these are the final lines of the crash log: Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
