I agree, I'm at 86 hours. I have 3 characters all with different battle focuses and paths as far as quest lines go. Skyrim was definitely worth my $60.

I am thinking of making my next character specialize in Illusion. I don't know what I'm going to do along with Illusion, but I want Illusion to be my basis. I might go one-handed/sneak or maybe destruction. I'm just wondering how effective the Illusion spells are throughout the course of the game.

I don't notice any appearance changes, and I can't get a camera view of my face, so sorry, can't help you there. =/

Does anyone know how long racial ability cooldowns are? Such as the Bosmer "Command Animal" or the Orcs and their OP Berserker thing. I was going to make a Bosmer using a Dagger + Illusion spells and also being good with a bow. But I would probably change my mind if Command Animal had some super long cooldown so I wouldn't be able to use it very often. :o

I preordered my copy from GameStop and not Steam. Does that mean that I won't be able to pre-load it? D:

I have a number of mods linked that I know I want, but I'm wondering should I install the mods first or just start playing and get into the storyline? Probably opinion-based, btu I just want to know what you all think.

So, at my local GameStop, New Vegas is $19.99 for the PC. On Steam the price is $49.99. It's clear that I would rather just go up to GameStop and pick up a copy, but I have been reading the NVSE is only compatible with the Steam version. And apparently the majority of the good mods require NVSE. Any suggestions on what I should do? I thank you in advance for your help.
