  1. The game is up-to-date. I just had to reinstall Fallout 4 in an attempt to alleviate the bugs associated with moving the game from on SSD to another about a week ago. In the process of installing through Steam the game was updated. To top everything off, to get "See through scopes" to work, based on the authors advice I moved my NMM mods folder to the same drive as the game which fixed that mod but in doing so I was forced to reinstall NMM. The problem remains, all the .esp's in my plugins.txt file will not get asterix in front of them unless I close NMM down and do it myself. This has become so tedious that I have created a copy of plugins.txt that I make actual every time I use NMM. So yeah, I don't know what to say, I pretty much reinstalled NMM and the game and this is the problem.
  2. LOL. I wonder if your issue is display driver related. Try clean reinstalling your display driver (restart computer into Safe Mode, navigate to folder holding Display Driver Uninstaller, run as administrator, upon boot up ensure you have not net connectivity so that Windows doesn't automatically download and install your display driver). Install display driver the normal way, personally I avoid Geforce Experience like the plague.
  3. If this wasn't fixed, why is it that the rest of the more or less civilised world doesn't have a problem with it? The astrisk was added with the release of the 1.5.157 version of the game, somewhere in May... that's almost five months ago. I suggest you update the game and see what gives. The game is up to date. The problem arose when I moved Fallout 4 from one drive to another. NMM somehow got botched in the process, even though I read and attempted to redirect it to the games new location. It just so happened that there was an NMM update (latest). So I reinstalled NMM, and redownloaded all of the mods (not a lot, maybe 4 in total). Now, EasyHacking doesn't work, nor does PipBoyLight, without putting an asterix in front of the ESP's in the plugin.txt file in the AppData folder. I don't know what to say, I have this problem, and it's very annoying because I have to do this every time I open NMM. Do I need to reinstall Windows? How about rebuild the computer? NMM is buggy, I'm not the only one.
  4. If this has been fixed, why do none of my mods with .esp's work unless I do this?
  5. I'm really really tired of playing the "set plugins.txt to read only, place an asterix in front of all .esm's, revert to read only" game upon each and every time of having to use NMM. If I don't do this none of my mods with .esp's work. This is completely unacceptable. Please fix NMM.
  6. I just wanted to thank-you for this information, I couldn't get a few of my mods with .esm's top work and this fixed it: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/281/
  7. Great advice, thank you. I will try disabling Radeon Pro as I am not really using it for anything in Skyrim, some have expressed success with forcing Skyrim to use an Oblivion AA profile through it but I havent seen any noticeable gains, and thats about the only thing Radeon Pro may help Skyrim with.
  8. No Im using Radeon Pro? Good ideas though, keep em coming please! I am really confused, everyone seems to be using this mod without much ado in the comments section of the mod itself.
  9. I also posted this in the comments that accompany the mod itself and in the mod talk section: Happy Thanksgiving fellow PC gamers! I installed the 4gblauncher.exe and its associated .dll in my "C:/program files (86)/steam\steamapps/common/skyrim" folder and there also appeared a "veryhigh.ini" in the folder as I did this, I launched from that icon and instead of the usual 55-60 FPS I get on 1680x1050 resolution I was getting no more than 23 FPS. Any ideas? My rig specs: M17xR2: 1920x1200 RGB LED, 6 GB RAM, i7 920xm default voltage and OC% (BLCK 133 x27,27,26,25 TDP/TDC 95/85), 5870 Xfire (800/1100 1.05v), Ultimate Cooling Mod w/ Shin Etsu. Logitech G35 headphones 3DMarkVantage: P18389 I also go by the same username on the Alienware forum at notebookreview.com and techinferno.com if anyone frequents those sites.

  11. The Stutter Remover didnt work for me. I got a massive amount of shut-downs and had to revert to the IFPS-clamp trick. My rig is below. M17xR2: 1920x1200 RGB LED, 6 GB RAM, i7 920xm default voltage and OC% (BLCK 133 x27,27,26,25 TDP/TDC 95/85), 5870 Xfire (800/1100 1.05v), Ultimate Cooling Mod w/ Shin Etsu. 12. Thanks for the help, going to try the stutter remover now, will report back.
  13. Hi all, I have an Alienware m17xR2 with a 5870 Crossfire GPU set up and the existing stutter fix, ifpsclamp-40 is growing old, is there a solution besides this? Is Bethesda working on this? Why is there this problem to begin with? Ive tried the d3d9.dll solution and it doesnt work, apparently it only applies to NV before the latest update? Pulling my hair out here, I really enjoy this game, wish Bethesda did a better job accommodating different GPU configurations.
  14. Hi fellow modders, I have been having an issue where I enter the Tactical Super Store in Freeside and the game instantly crashes. What mods if any are incompatible with this one and has anyone else experienced this? I installed with FOMM and have successfully manually implemented ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!. I have quite an extensive list of mods, rather than try to reproduce the list here I am just trying to see if there are any in particular that this mod is incompatible with. Thanks in advance.
