  1. There's a lot of modifications out there that adjust the values in the FormID lists for the menus. Which results in a lot of incompatibility issues. What makes it worse is that there's no guideline set to try and correct this issue. Instead mod authors are currently throwing together random categories in random places. I know it's pretty early, but it's better to start this now then to have to deal with it in five months when there's too many people not willing to try and fix this. Currently the best structure I've seen for categories is OCDecorator. His structure is super simple and easy to make a patch for. It goes like this: Main Menu -> OCDecorator -> Anything to do with OCDecorator Huh, who would have thought you could add things to the main menu under your own section? Now you're probably wondering, but wait why is his way of doing it superior to my way? Because when it comes down to it, I can add one more section before OCDecorator called 'Addons' and now everything that is in Addons has another category for each modification. Main Menu -> Addons -> OCDecorator, SSEX, etc. Which in turn makes everything way more organized and compatibility patches are easy to make. If we start doing this now, we can stop the cluster that I see in the future. It's coming, I don't know how fast but it's coming. Homemaker on the other hand... Almost like a lost cause if you ask me, he's got everything everywhere. Seriously needs to be fixed before it gets worse.
  2. Got my answer from two sources. One of them being you. Cheers. Just can't edit collisions quite yet.
  3. I've been banging my head against the wall trying my best to figure out how collisions work. In one of my modifications I flipped the model 90 degrees in nifskope to create some vertical flags. However a problem decided to come along for the ride. The collision appears to be taking the original collision and I can't see it in nifskope, nor can I adjust it. Are the collisions not viewable in nifskope? Are they located in fo4edit? Are they placed under some weird, unknown value? I'm really trying hard to figure this out but maybe some others have some insights on this.
  4. Yea, editing worldspace cells right now is a bit of a no-no. There's so many incomplete definitions it's bound to cause corruption later.
  5. I know it sounds bat s#*! crazy. I said the same thing until I removed the data and it no longer occured.
  6. There's an issue with this. Editing these values may result in power armor switching its frames randomly. Also have gotten reports of players having random objects in their containers.
  7. There's a lot of missing values still. It would be extremely difficult to do such a thing. Especially with most of the values that appear to be stuck in hex still.
  8. Funny. I'm actually working on something right now that pertains to this.
