  1. You guys consider like maybe doing something along the lines of making female super mutants? Could be classified as like Gorgons and have like a wicked scream or something that scares the hell outta people. If you don't make them larger than average (yet still female proportionate to male supermutants), you could make them something like the witches from Left 4 Dead.
  2. Yeah that would be a good idea, since it's pretty much a modification of a neuralizer. Just use the weapon effects from the mesmetron and then figure out a mesh or what not for the weapon. It'd probably look similar to how the sonic screwdriver looks in that mod.
  3. Likewise, I'm not a modder, but I've used a lot of mods, so here's my thoughts on this: The sunglasses shouldn't be a big problem, with the suglasses pack already out. And the suit shouldn't be too much problem, either. Just change the color to black for men/women, add some stats to it to make it combat worthy against those pesky aliens, and it'll be good. Might want to offer the new pantsuit that's out for Exnem bodies since that could fit the lore (but that'd require collaboration on the modder's part). Weapons, I dunno how that could work out, since I don't mod. Maybe the Firelance or some alien blaster could be scaled down and powered up to be the Noisy Cricket. A neuralizer would be cool to make, too, since it could be used to paralyze enemies (in a sense). Boom. Story would be pretty simple, should the factions be made. MiB has operated for years in a secret vault/base and has resurfaced recently to deal with a new threat on the planet. Sure, there's a lot of other things that's screwed up with the world, but that's not their problem, the MiB handle alien threats (What humanity does to themselves is their own problem). As far as the aliens go, maybe some humanoid types could be altered differently or even the already existing Aliens could be used... they could just be bald humans for all I care, just that they're from another planet and looking to destroy the MiB before taking over the world. So then you get two sides at war and naturally most people are going with the suits. If you want to go really deep into it, you could make the aliens robots, and have them abducting humans to plug into simulators to supercharge/power themselves ala Matrix. Could add another extension to the mod by having a whole simulated scenario to fight through and conqueror before you actually have to go head on with the machines in the real. It's a cool idea, and I'll let it sit here as a possible addon to this, but I might make a thread describing this in more detail.
  4. I was just thinking about this idea, and it was pretty much the main reason I've come onto the board for the first time. I'm a longtime Nexus member but since I don't mod I haven't really had too much to contribute until now. Mainly my skills lie in ideas and writing, and so let me go further into what I was thinking. Basically, it was pretty much the same idea as Nohano's above, a multi-level tower with enemies, traps, and puzzles that the player would either have to shoot or think through in order to get to the top. But what I had initially thought of was more like a background and story to it. Like the player would hear from either an NPC or some other means that there's either a rumored treasure up at the top, or a hardcore evil mastermind that terrorizes the wasteland from the top of his tower that needs to be taken care of once and for all. So you fight through all the levels, taking out the flunkies and once you get to the higher levels you start facing against the high-level members of this mastermind's syndicate... then finally at the top you face off against the master of the syndicate in a final showdown. There could be a prequel mod to this as well that could be added into the storyline of it all, like maybe an NPC or companion is made that correlates with this mod, and the mastermind either has them killed or kidnapped, so then your motivation is more along the lines of revenge/rescue. I was thinking maybe this prequel mod could involve the mastermind killing/kidnapping the companion/NPC and then trapping the player inside a vault and would have to fight his way past whatever creatures/enemies to reach a secret escape hatch deep within the vault that leads out into the Metro tunnels and then back into the wasteland. Now that I wrote that out, maybe the initial quest has the companion pitch you the idea of uncovering a secret presidential vault that was made for the First Family, the Presidential staff, Secret Service, etc (mainly for the idea of finding some important/valuable/powerful item). Then you get ambushed and locked in the vault, finding that the current inhabitants definitely aren't 'congressional'. So then you fight your way out, get back into the wasteland, and then go after the master in the challenge tower of doom. Of course I don't have the first idea about what goes into actually modding something like this together. I just have the plots and the ideas, so if someone wants to work on this and just use me as a creative contractor, that's fine. I'd like to see this come to fruition so whoever can do it, have at it.
