  1. I've been having insanely slow download speeds the past couple of days. It starts off between 200 KB/s - 400 KB/s but eventually falls and fluctuates between 10 KB/s - 120 KB/s, averaging around 40 KB/s. Oddly enough, I noticed that smaller files (under 100 MBs) are usually fine with 1 MB/s - 1.5 MB/s, while larger files are the ones affected with slow speeds. I don't know think there's something wrong with the ISP either since my brother's Nexus speeds are normal (1 MB/s - 1.5 MB/s as a regular member) and we live together. Non-Nexus downloads are also fine. Country: US ISP: Spectrum Average Download Speed (Non-Nexus downloads): 2.5 MB/s Download tests: Amsterdam: 10 KB/s - 40 KB/s Prague: 10 KB/s - 40 KB/s LA: 40 KB/s - 120 KB/s (if it matters, I live in LA) Chicago: 40 KB/s - 120 KB/s Miami: 40 KB/s - 120 KB/s Premium CDN: 700 KB/s - 1 MB/s Download links: Large file: https://supporter-files.nexus-cdn.com/1704/10917/Beyond%20Skyrim%20-%20Assets-10917-1-6-0-1657464395.7z?md5=ZNk3IWDvgMe91rhwII5q2w&expires=1658012399&user_id=281962&rip=108.185.221.165 Small file: https://cf-files.nexusmods.com/cdn/1704/1137/Ordinator%209.31.0-1137-9-31-0-1635693140.zip?md5=u5ONDTbERauhzs-RCemKFA&expires=1658012363&user_id=281962&rip=108.185.221.165 TraceRoute results: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19043.1766]© Microsoft Corporation. 2. Is there really no answer to this? I've been having the exact same issue. No matter what I try, (elevating privileges to both FMM and BFII etc) it still fails and tells me to restart the tool as admin... UPDATE: Managed to solve my issue. Leaving this here in case anyone else comes here looking for answers. In my case, it was a matter of having BFII installed in a different HD. I originally had it installed in an SSD that somehow didn't give me the option to tweak folder ownership. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game onto another HD that did allow me to configure it and FMM was able to properly access the game folder. Hope this helps.
  3. Hey guys. Other than camera fov tweaks, I can't seem to find a mod for Fallout 4 that allows your character to face the direction your crosshair is pointing at. To be more specific, I was hoping for a mod similar to this one for Skyrim. It helps add some immersion to my character as he/she surveys their area and generally make them feel more alive as I travel around the Commonwealth. I never liked how characters would perpetually stare in one direction all of the time. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. In response to post #39485330. #39488480, #39488735, #39490310, #39491875 are all replies on the same post. It's already quite difficult enough making sure your mod even works on the PC. My "Populated Wasteland" mod worked perfectly fine for me, but a lot of users reported problems on their end and I simply had no idea what could be causing it. If I'm not experiencing the same problems, how else can I troubleshoot it? Now imagine if I had to do that for consoles too. That's just too much of a headache to even bother with.
  5. In response to post #39493020. #39493465, #39494175, #39494320, #39494820 are all replies on the same post. If you can't be bothered to read the entire thing, then at least copy and ctrl+F search for this section: "Why should mod authors care about others taking their work? Surely they release mods so that as many people as possible can enjoy them?" It's not a question about someone having too much "ego." It's about having respect for other people's effort to actually create content for everyone to enjoy.
  6. Ah, I see. I was actually planning on using the console as well. It may not be an ideal solution, but it's definitely something. It helps that I've set up most of my guards as Minutemen anyway.
  7. Wow OP, that sounds really sad. If I ever bump into this same raider, I'll be sure to just pacify him if I can and leave him be. I love how they fleshed out the raiders a bit here.
  8. Renaming settlers according to their assigned task would be incredibly helpful at this point... I mean, Beth implemented the 'Provisioner' name to settlers you assign to a supply line, so I don't know why they couldn't do that for the other, more common tasks like farmer or guard.
  9. I actually loved the Randy Savage voice pack for the supermutants in FO3. I can just imagine one of those suicide mutants running up to me yelling, "My moment of glory!" or "I'm the cream of the crop!" *BOOM*
  10. What do you mean by this? I was able to let him live and convince Maxson to spare him on the condition that he stays away from the Brotherhood. I went back to the bunker and I could still get Danse to be my companion, he just sports an X-01 power armor now, BUT so long as I have him as my active companion, the Brotherhood will be hostile towards us. EDIT: I think I may have misread your post, my bad. I also wish I could still have Danse as a companion without angering the Brotherhood.
  11. My God, these ads drive me insane. I tend to open several tabs while I'm browsing through the Nexus and having these ads play simultaneously with their unusually loud volumes are extremely annoying. I cannot stress that enough. I dread having to visit the NV Nexus now due to these ads. Please, if you are to include movie ads, at least don't make them play automatically... please.
