  1. Yes, there are but you should buy and play the game and see for yourself. There is a slight learning curve though if you are a FO3 player too......
  2. Nope, the NCR-BoS war is Canon, it's why NCR paper money is worth crap, because it's secured against water and not the (destroyed by Californian BoS) NCR gold reserves. If the Fallout series was real life then gold would be worthless. Food, water, fertile soil, and young women would be some of the most valuable comodities, and a close second only to powerful weapons technology and epuipment. He who has the biggest gun and the will to use it is going to be the one that gives the orders and calls the shots. What would you rather have in your hand in a post apocolyptic world, a gold bar or a loaded gun? That guy in There Will be Blood said it best, "i drink your milkshake". He drained the oil from the property because he wanted to, and had the means and the will to do it. The man holding the gun has the power, this is a basic principal of the BoS and NCR.
  3. Shoot her and be done with it, or just don't talk to her. I got tired of my companions running in front of me while i was trying to head shoot opponents, so i killed them both the last time i played. I will admit to missing Cass and Rex though.
  4. I wait until i am level 20+ and then i kill everything. It adds a more exciting edge to the game when you are hated by everyone and have to scavenge to survive.
  5. Damage depends on type of ammo used, weapon condition, and experience ability with the weapon type.
  6. Yeah, well the last time i played it my character sounded like a girl when taking damage. >:(
  7. I'd do a few odd jobs, upgrade the system, and experience it at full tilt. If i could not play a game using the highest graphics settings i'd buy a new GPU. I'm using an overclocked 4850 and i get no slow downs.
  8. I do not use any mods and mine crashes randomly too. It has taught me to save, save, save a lot. (F5). I know it is not a hardware issue, i am thinking it is an issue with the graohics drivers. I wonder if this happens to console players as well?
  9. I have seen this happen once only. I found 2 bodies but was carrying too much to be able to pick the bodies clean and fast travel to offload the Booty. I placed a map marker there so i could dump some stuff and come back but when i did the bodies were gone. Then i was gang probed by deathclaws, died, reloaded the game, went back to the map marker and the bodies had re appeared. I'm going to assume it is a bug because i know there is nothing wrong with my RAM.
  10. Yeah, i'd say it is a driver issue. I am running an overclocked 4850 and have the graphics settings as high as they go, and i am not having any FPS problems. I do have ramdom crashes though, but i save frequently anyway.
  11. Nothing gets close to me when i'm squatting with my upgraded Hunting rifle, for up close work i use the Riot Shotgun. That automatic grenade launcher found in the cave is also good for a laugh.
  12. ...........oh and Cass as my 'special' friend with benefits, and Rex as my guard dog.
  13. I'd have liked to be ruler of the wasteland with the NCR and the BoS as my troopers, and sitting in my penthouse suite playing Fallout 5 on Mr Houses screen. Married to a dozen strippers poledancing around the place, raking in the caps, and only having to leave my casino to sort out trouble. Taking over the Gun Runners facility as my armoury, the weapon at Helios One moved to my casino, the Boomers as my airforce, and a robot army as my police force. Then let the Legion, the Khans, and the rest come and get me.
  14. I have a hatred for Deathclaws. The first time i played i was gang probed by a group of Deathclaws, then i thought i'd outsmart them and go around, only to be swarmed by Cazadors. Now i know how to play so i actively hunt down Deathclaws at every opportunity. For some reason i find women the hardest to kill, followed closely by wild dogs and coyotes.
