  1. Around a decade ago I did my longest and most enjoyed run of Morrowind, but I lost the install when a hdd died, including my favourite character and saves. All I have left are a few screenshots and the edited face texture (I believe I added the eyebrows and made her eyes look closer to the classic look) which I thankfully had stored elsewhere. Please could anyone who recognises the filenames and where they are from clue me in? I want to recreate the character as closely as possible for a future run. "_WAR_DE_FNL_Xf2a" is the file name the face texture was under. Sadly I don't know about the hair, but I'm hoping it was the same pack, and the face is more important of course. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks.
  2. I've been playing a lot of Elder Scrolls Online over lockdown, and I once again noticed just how popular the Scarlet Judge armor is. I wear it most of the time, and I'm not the only one, it has to be in constant use by a massive amount of the playerbase as it's one of the few 'free' costumes that looks good and has some interesting lore behind it, being part Dark-Elf-Batman and part Redoran Second Era guard armor. https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/The_Scarlet_Judge_(Quest) If anyone wants to make myself and a lot of other ESO players happy, it would be wonderful to be able to re-take the mantle in Skyrim, to watch over the Dunmer of Windhelm or Solsthiem, or simply to adventure in looking good.
  3. I was just hopeful that someone with a little spare time and the skill could put together a nifbash/retexture to add the Inspector outfit to New Vegas, please? We have so many occult and weird & whacky quest mods it would be great to have the perfect outfit to wear while experiencing them.
  4. Thanks! Any idea what element in particular I'm looking for? What I'll do is have a backup and if it ends up causing any text I really want to see to disappear I'll just revert the changes. Edit: Got it, thanks, I just had to find another mod that used hud_info_menu as the BTMod I used as a base didn't have it, explaining why I couldn't find the values I needed.
  5. I see, hopefully someone who knows will see the thread, I appreciate the attempt at helping either way. I'm pretty sure it *is* possible because I thought I had found it, but only disabled the 'names' in dialog/in the dialog interface, which suggests that it's simply another value I've yet to find.
  6. That's exactly what I explained you. Wouldn't that require removing the name from every NPC, plant, and container in the game? I'm specifically looking for a HUD element I need to disable in the xml files.
  7. Ah, thanks, but that's not what I mean. I want to edit the HUD/targeting so that when I hover over something that can be interacted with it's name isn't displayed in the bottom-right of the screen.
  8. https://imgur.com/njkMCX8 'Hlaalu Guard' in the case of my example image (Morrowblivion before anyone assumes I'm in the wrong subforum lol). I've installed BTMod and configured the rest of my HUD to be invisible for maximum immersion, and yet I somehow magically know the name of anyone I look at and get such helpful info as 'Box' when I look at a Box. If I can just find what I need to disable this I'll be exceptionally happy. I don't mind the name turning up in dialog, but it's bugging me when just running around and exploring. It completely takes away any 'guesswork' while harvesting, too, being told exactly what plant I'm looking at.
  9. I'm trying to make a personal edit of Versus Vivec as I find the giant clones and daedra look a little funky in such a small space, and want to put them back to at least near normal size, but from what I can see in the CS they are labelled as 'fake Vivec' and 'R1-9' respectively, and they already seem to be set to 1.00 scale. I've also looked through the scripts and I see no reference to scaling there. I don't suppose anyone more knowledgeable could direct me where I need to look and tweak please? Ah, nevermind, it was just a case of figuring out what was what and then lower their scale even lower than 1.00 oddly.
  10. Mostly because it seems every third player is wearing it, despite there being so many cool costumes in the game. It seems to have struck a cord within ESO.
  11. I was really surprised to find that nobody had made a rendition, not even a recolor of existing armors, into Dunmer Batman. https://imgur.com/Y4FDyff It would be amazing to see it in Skyrim SE, if anyone with the skills is interested in tackling it. Even a re-imagining would be really cool given the time span between titles. (I have no idea why there is a color behind that text. Wonder what I clicked.)
  12. So I just got this swanky new manor house, massive, with a guest room and space for everyone with some redesigning... and my Survivor has to live there all alone. I can't even leave Codsworth there to do my chores! It was a glaring issue (since modded) with the Home Plate, but since that place is falling apart and I never visit anyway it didn't bother me too much, but this is a playerhome that costs mini-DLC money and is a literal mansion. I'm hoping that someone with the know-how could add Shroud Manor to the list companions have when dismissed or make a work around.
  13. I could have sworn it was here, as well as the now defunct source. I don't suppose the creator of the Darth Revan armor posts here? Or that someone has the file, and could post/pm it? It would be a real shame for the mod to be lost forever, and I don't know any other sources for it.
  14. So, Fallout 3 is aging at this point, and we have all played it so many times (potentially) that it holds no new surprises. But... that's not really the case, is it? For example, Midea of the Pitt. I've generally sided with Ashur after the first time, where I reflexively freed the slaves. He has a plan, and no matter how horrific, the Pitt has a chance at becoming an actual place of production - a rare thing in the wasteland. There have been threads before on the topic, and this isn't really about the moral choice as such, so I won't delve into my reasoning when others have done so better in the past. Instead, I wanted to note something i've missed on previous play throughs. Midea is a hypocrite. Sure, she is willing to kidnap a child. I already knew that, and often use the Child At Heart perk option on her, and she ends up suitably repentant. However, I was taking it slow this time. The slaves are all sore ridden, worked to death, fed a mix of radioactive water and 'strange meat', and if they are punished beaten or put in the stocks, and if injured shot and replaced. Midea though... I looked around her room. She talks about how terrible it is being under Ashur's heel, and the treatment they (including herself) receive. She eats squirrel stew and boxed scavenged food, drinks water, milk and even whiskey... rather than trog-meat. She has her own room, rather than a mattress on the floor, or the floor itself. She is clean and clothed, rather than sore-ridden, dirty and wearing rags that serve little purpose. She doesn't work in the mill, nor even on the terminals, instead she has a desk and seems to 'direct' the other slaves and serve as spokesman. It occurs that she is doing remarkably well for herself, to say she despises being under the 'heel' of Ashur so much. Frankly, her position seems more privileged than that of even the raiders, who generally aren't that much better off than the other 'workers'. Initially I thought it was a bug that she looked so different to the other slaves, but now i'm not so sure. To say she is a middle aged woman, she certainly doesn't seem very close to succumbing to the disease that supposedly all of them get. Any thoughts on this, or anything to add? Anything else you've noticed?
