  1. Question - Basically what I'm asking is would it be better for the American police of the fallout universe to carry a police pistol, 10mm, or a 9mm? Police Officers Inventory: Police Baton- Defiantly... Police Pistol- Probably?? Kinda small caliber though... 9mm (in place of Police Pistol) - maybe... more modern. 10mm (in place of Police Pistol or 9mm) - possible... the vault 101 guards had these as standard issue. Hunting Shotgun - Standard issue for most real police.... ____________________ What do you think, Please leave your opinion as this is for a mod I've been working for a while now. It will not only restore Freeside and the Strip, but also open over thirty new interiors in Freeside... so far I've made nine interiors in two weeks so progress has been good.
  2. 1 Create an NPC 2 Create a Quest, tick start game enabled 3 Go into the topics tab of your quest, right click the white list on the left, click add topic, scroll down to "GREETING" 4 Also, create a new topic by right clicking on the list where you found "GREETING" 5 Right click the info tab of your GREETING and click new, make the response text whatever you want, this is what he'll say when you first talk to him. (Leave the prompt clear) 6 This is very important, right click the "conditions" tab and select new, click the "INVALID" button and scroll down to your NPC's ID (Make it == 1) 7 Go to the new topic you created earlier, by using the same methods you used to create the GREETING. (right click the "conditions" tab and select new, click the "INVALID" button and scroll down to your NPC's ID (Make it == 1) Response text: (This is what he'll say when you click the "Buy" Button) Prompt: (Whatever you want it to be) Example: I'd like to buy something. Now, at the bottom in the "Result Script (Begin)" box type: SHOWBARTERMENU 8. Create a NEW (Meaning new ID etc.) container, put it inside your house's cell but somewhere where the player can't reach it, put whatever you want in it, this is what the merchant will sell (Hint: Caps) 9. Place your NPC inside your house, double click him in the render window and select merchant container, and scroll down to your container's ID, click okay, save and you're done. P.S. Then set the ownership of the container to the merchant (double click on the container, ownership, then set the NPC). And don't forget to set the ai data of the merchant (services) ((((I can't seem to get it to work, can some one explain how to do it ti me via the conversation editor?)))
  3. I found that the: Run Lucky 38, mod works well with enclave Nazi outfits; check it out!
  4. Wonderful, For the general outfit add a cross-belt... (A belt that goes across your chest) just my opinion.
  5. Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for! Also I moved on to Skyrim a while back, played the bleep out of it... So I decided to come back to New Vegas for awhile, then when I get tired of it again I'll go back to skyrim.. I hope others still play Vegas because it has a lot of new mod content since I left!!
  6. I actually have some of it already made, I just want to know if this would be something the public would be interested in or will it just be another mod only I have? Please leave your opinion!!!
  7. that is one odd steam folder but besides that you've installed steam to the folder that empowers UAC and that alone can cause your problems I don't understand, steam installed itself to that location? Is there any thing I can do?
  8. I've merged the texture, mesh, and a few other mods in my New Vegas data directory located Computer- OS-Program files (x86) - Steam- Steam111 - SteamApps - Common - fallout new vegas- data Then I set archive invalidation using FOMM. Next using the G.E.C.K I placed the armor on an NPC and on a desk in victors shack; saved then closed the GECK. Finally I checked the esp. file before I went in-game. When In-game it doesn't show up and I have to place on the NPC again using the GECK. Other but not all armors (made by mods) seem to be having this problem. some just show up with a mesh, but the texture is that of dirt.
  9. Have they made it yet? I'm asking because I could create it... well at least some of it, you see I'm really good at level, character, and dialogue design. However I don't understand a lick of scripting!!!
  10. This mod in no way supports Nazism, in fact any post-war knowledge about the Third Reich would be severely limited to what little books and holotapes remain. That being the case most people would only see a grand army marching and showing off it's so called 'might', or massive destruction. So these Fourth Reich soldiers would have a warped view and actually want to help the people of whatever land I place them in. However as time goes by they become corrupt and evil just as their predecessors. I got this idea because I got tired of playing games were i'm never the Nazi, Hmm... maybe I am one... No, I only jest. Please people don't hate on this mod, there are no bad intentions here.
  11. I got it, the crash was due to using the GECK at the same time as FOMM.
  12. as answered previously in this very thread use FOMM or NMM to set archive invalidation look under tools I tried that but I just got a message saying something bad happened
  13. So if I where to do a archive invalidation on geonox ranger armor using FOMM, how would I go about doing that?
  14. What is this "Archive Invalidation" a mod is asking me to have set?
