  1. I dislike the vertical tiling for the mods. A lot of the time the name of the mod is cut off so I can't actually read what it is because it gets cut off. I much preferred it horizontal when I could read the whole thing.
  2. Yeah, the change I noticed got me to look up stuff on the forums about it...
  3. Always interested in immersion mods. I am eagerly anticipating Chesko's set to get finished for Skyrim to do a playthrough using the new versions.
  4. Lack of seeing the sliders could maks it difficult to recreate your characters for playing the other spouse... At least, if we can't save them or go back in the restroom and change after being able to save...
  5. Saving player characters I could see happening, ala Familiar Faces for skyrim. Creating an ai package based on what you do in game is something I have absolutely no idea if it would be feasable or not.
  6. I was pondering this same dilemma myself.... Wonder if we can go back into the bathroom to fiddle with the characters after leaving the first time... That would let us save and swap...
  7. No deadlines? What do you mean no deadlines?! We want it nao! It should be done already!! *cough* Joking aside... I'm still looking forward to this set of mods, they sound like the game I want to play.
  8. I'm sure he could, but that's not what he wants to do with his mod. Personally I'm a 'form over function' person... I prioritize looks over stats when I can.
  9. Had a thought... Mansh00ter, iirc, you said that how the difficulty levels affect the vanilla game will make the difficulty selection not really do anything because of your tweaks, with you currently tweaking the AI around, how feasible would the idea of making differing AI routines based on the selected difficulty be?
  10. Good things to hear, I've been holding off on playing Skyrim waiting for mods such as these to be created before I get into it.
  11. Well, if they slaughter whatever distracts them then they won't stay distracted for very long will they? ;P
  12. 1. As well as difficulty settings. It's just not interesting. 2. Lol, this is sort of true, sadly. Deadly combat + balanced magic have to do for now. I very much look forward to a mod that balances both at the same time! #1. Depends on exactly 'what' is changed through the difficulty settings. A difficulty setting that changed the ai algorithm could be an interesting 'Difficulty Setting' couldn't it? ;)
  13. I assume that the different shield's armor rating is adjusted based on the appropriate perk tree.
  14. I have heard stories of players with werewolf blood getting diseases... I suppose there's the tiny possibility it bugs out when fighting vampires and getting it that way ;)
  15. /me jokingly chimes in with "The unofficial Skyrim Patch"... disclaimer: unofficial patch may or may not exist at this time ;)
  16. I'm not a modder but wouldn't this be insanely easy? Well, I do believe the boss had different attacks then the normal mudcrabs, so, not really?
  17. @DrakeTheDragon 'Archived' as in added to the archive section of the ini file, like the game's 'vanilla' bsa's. At least for the use of archived in my post.
  18. I'm not too picky about the lore friendliness of mods I look at. Though, I am playing around with having set the language differently, renamed the bsa's then changed it back and registered the renamed files, leaving me with Japanese voice overs with English text... ;)
  19. German, animeish? X-Blades perhaps? (Though that's not the original name)
  20. Actually it's not random, It has been determined that archived bsa's take lowest priority, followed by loose files, and then plugin bsa's in alphanumeric sorting order. http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1345724-important-bsas-and-you/
  21. I tend to lock my computer whenever I'm away from it.. Not due to other family members, they all have their own and are computer savvy. But due to the times I come back and there's a whole string of characters in the password input box from the cats walking on my keyboard :/ I haven't tried any mods with the steam workshop, I actually haven't done much modding yet as I'm waiting for some mods to mature or be created first. I have read some of the drawbacks to it currently, and from some limited browsing found some features lacking. So for the time being I'm mostly focusing on using the Nexus.
  22. Alternatively, judging by the wiki, using that setstage and setting it to 30 should put you on the part after killing arvel. so 'setstage ms13 30' You've already said you've consoled the claw into your inventory. Though If you add the journal reading that might trigger the next stage... Edit: And I see the TC ninja'd me....
  23. This reminded me of the 'Deadpool Common Sense' demotivational poster.... Anyway... As far as Lore vs Non-Lore, I don't have a definite answer for that, if I like the mod I'll try it, if not I won't. One example, I used the Asuka HUD in Fallout 3, I though it was a cute little UI mod. But I do agree that the ability to better filter what search results you get can't hurt anyone, it'll let people avoid what they don't want, and help others find those mods if they want them. :wallbash: It's called tagging! It already exists and has been a part of the Nexus for some time - and it seems nobody uses it then they complain that we don't have a system that does this!
